The imperatives of intraorganizational integration anchor on the establishment of systemic features necessary for organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Such outcomes border on the support and framework advanced by the structural components of the organization, and the extent to which infrastructures and norms serve the goal of improved service quality and delivery especially within the hospitality industry. This paper identified structural capital development as a significant predictor of intraorganizational integration (communication and knowledge sharing) in premium restaurants in Rivers State – thus, reinforcing the institutional theory on the criticality of learning and the embodiment of external values and considerations in shaping or defining organizational structures, routines and policies. The findings however indicate that structural capital does not influence cohesion within the premium restaurants. In conclusion, emphasis is placed on the imperatives of informed change activities channelled towards organizational infrastructure and functions; such that anchor on the unique characteristics or attributes of the environment; thus enabling a more harmonic and systemic outcome for the internal as well as external features of the organization

BACKGROUND The COVID-19 pandemic caused widespread societal disruption, with governmental stay-at-home orders resulting in people connecting more using technology than in person. This shift had a large implication on older adult residents staying in retirement homes and residential care facilities, where older adult residents may lack the technology literacy needed to stay connected. The enTECH Computer Club from the University of Waterloo created a knowledge translation toolkit to support organizations interested in starting technology literacy programs (TLPs) by providing guidance and practical tips. OBJECTIVE This paper aimed to present a framework for implementing TLPs in retirement homes and residential care facilities, through expanding on the knowledge translation toolkit and the Framework for Person-Centred Care. METHODS Major concepts relating to the creation of a technology literacy program in retirement homes and residential care facilities were extracted from the enTECH knowledge translation toolkit. The domains from the Framework for Person-Centred Care were modified to fit a TLP context. The concepts identified from the toolkit were sorted into the three framework categories: Structure, Process, and Outcome. Information from the knowledge translation toolkit were extracted into the three categories and synthesized to form foundational principles and potential actions. RESULTS All 13 domains from the Framework for Person-Centred Care were redefined to shift the focus on TLP implementation, with 7 domains under Structure, 4 domains under Process, and 2 domains under Outcome. Domains in the Structure category focus on developing an organizational infrastructure to deliver a successful TLP; 10 foundational principles and 25 potential actions were identified for this category. Domains in the Process category focus on outlining procedures taken by stakeholders involved to ensure a smooth transition from conceptualization into action; 11 foundational principles and 9 potential actions were identified for this category. Domains in the Outcome category focus on evaluating the TLP to consider making any improvements to better serve the needs of older adults and staff; 6 foundational principles and 6 potential actions were identified for this category. CONCLUSIONS Several domains and its Foundational Principles and Potential Actions from the TLP framework were found to be consistent with existing literatures that encourage taking active steps to increase technology literacy in older adults. Although there may be some limitations to the components of the framework with the current state of the pandemic, starting technology literacy programs in the community can yield positive outcomes that will be beneficial to both older adult participants and the organization in the long-term.

The article deals with the issues of war and peace, international security, and the features of modern conflicts. It is noted that, although a powerful legal and organizational infrastructure has been constructed on the basis of the UN, which is engaged in conflict resolution, the problem of preventing war remains relevant. Russia, using its military and political resources, is actively acting as a peacemaker at the global level, but primarily in the post-Soviet space. According to the author, along with rapid response to current challenges and threats, it is necessary to consider the topic of peacekeeping at a fundamental philosophical level. The philosophy of peacemaking as a methodology implies an awareness of the deep unity of the world, with the inevitable presence of social contradictions and changes caused by them in political and socio-economic systems. Peace, understood as the absence of contradictions and conflicts caused by them, is impossible in principle. It is possible to minimize the negative consequences of conflicts, which is the meaning of peacemaking. The highest axiology of peacemaking, in the author's opinion, is ensuring security and comprehensive human development, protecting political and social rights, cultural and spiritual values. It is concluded that peacekeeping includes not only military operations to neutralize the sources of military threats, but also multifunctional and multidimensional systemic actions aimed at stabilizing the situation in the conflict region through political decisions and assistance in establishing peaceful life. Along with military and police contingents, qualified specialists in the field of political analysis and negotiation should participate in peacekeeping operations to assist in the transition to peace, security and development.

Communication is dynamic, social, challenging, and a key quality factor for construction projects. This is especially the case in multinational and inter-organizational infrastructure projects where factors like culture and language differ among the involved actors. As infrastructure projects usually extend over longer periods of time, collaborative relationships need to be established in which the actors can develop, for example, mutual understanding, learning, and efficient working routines. By building on empirical data from contemporary infrastructure projects, we explore how international contractors and a large public client communicate in multinational infrastructure projects (i.e., what the challenges are and what competences are needed). The analysis is based on the linguistic framework of communicative competence, and we contribute to the development of collaborative models in construction project management by suggesting the concept of contextual communicative competence.

Abstract The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is expanding its organizational infrastructure in the private sector, revealing the dynamics of CCP-style institutional change. Party building follows a distinct version of adaptive governance. Hesitant to rely on innovative tools alone, organizers productively tinker with traditional and disparate elements. Grassroots Party organs, sanctified by their venerable history, are redeployed – initially for modest purposes that fall short of their original revolutionary potential. The Party's surge in private-sector firms was triggered by technocrats overhauling Leninist systems to reconnect to Party members; the search for a broader mission came later. To empower CCP organs in companies, organizers use tactical precedents ranging from incentives to negotiations around Party financing, and membership discipline. Combining tactics from different eras, overseas Party building deploys old organizational arrangements to new ends, whereas digitization gives time-worn procedures a second life. The inclination for institutional bricolage is a deeply rooted hallmark of innovation in Chinese statecraft.

The building of functional linkages between non-profit/non-state organizations and other collaborators at various levels is a necessity to benefit the welfare of the rural poor. Pakistan is also embracing its inclusion in the list of economies that are considered to have weak social capital. Strengthening of social capital has a valuable contribution by the NGOs especially in the rangelands of Pakistan. The current study is designed to examine the role of non-governmental and non-state organizations in building up social capital. Data were taken from three different localities in the Mansehra district of Hazara region in Pakistan adopting qualitative and quantitative approaches. A weak organizational infrastructure in terms of horizontal and vertical principles (transparency, viability, integrity, accountability etc.) was found in all three study areas. The access to social capital at sites I II obtained 1.98 and 1.78 respectively and residents of site III were found deprived. The study showed that rural people with low income (often referred to as poor) have lower social incomes compared to people with high- and medium-income levels (often referred as well off and better off). The limitations of time availability and social confidence results in no contact or social interaction among poor. A significant role of NGOs has been observed in bringing poor and oppressed people into mainstream social capital. The study delineates the increased involvement of registered and unregistered local groups/organizations in the development of rural community. Findings of the research also conclude that local community groups are more vital than that of the registered organizations due to their informal culture and true representation of practical needs of the community. The volunteers played an important role in creating social grants, and their inclusion in the form of a comprehensive social capital plan will result in refinement of services and overall betterment of society.

Organizational diagnosis is one of the main components in planning change. Organizational diagnosis is fundamental to school development. This can be seen from the organization's diagnosis through technostructural intervention, because it is related to organizational design, employees/employees, and work design. Technostructural intervention method focuses on changes in organizational structure and design, so it tends to be more focused on organizational infrastructure aspects. This method will produce the output of increasing attention to productivity and organizational effectiveness in schools, such as the quality of work culture and methods for designing all components in schools. Schools need to know and strive to meet existing indicators or criteria in order to become a growing organization with high integrity.

The new coronavirus disease that was first identified in Wuhan, China, is referred to as the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19). The impact of this pandemic has affected various fields, one of which is education, and one of the consequences is the implementation of online teaching and learning processes. In this digital era, Telkom University is implementing CeLOE LMS as an E-Learning medium. CeLOE Learning Management System (LMS) is an online learning platform for regular and distance education study programs at Telkom University. For the application of CeLOE LMS, there has been no report that contains user acceptance of the use of CeLOE LMS that tested with an integrated model. Therefore, the solution offered by this research was to conduct an analysis to determine user acceptance of the application of the CeLOE LMS system by using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) Model at Telkom University to produce report that can be used as a basis for further decision making by Telkom University in managing its services as the UTAUT Model attempts to clarify the intentions of students to use an information system and the usage actions of students. From this research, it was found that the CeLOE LMS has been accepted and used by Telkom University students with all hypotheses accepted, Performance Expectancy as the variable with the greatest influence, and it needs improvements related to technical infrastructure, organizational infrastructure, and socialization of CeLOE LMS due to the influence of Facilitating Conditions variable was the lowest.

Abstract Background Nigeria has one of the largest Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) epidemics in the world. Addressing the epidemic of HIV in such a high-burden country has necessitated responses of a multidimensional nature. Historically, community-based organizations (CBOs) have played an essential role in targeting key populations (eg. men who have sex with men, sex workers) that are particularly burdened by HIV. CBOs are an essential part of the provision of health services in sub-Saharan Africa, but very little is known about the management practices of CBOs that provide HIV prevention interventions. Methods We interviewed 31 CBO staff members and other key stakeholders in January 2017 about management practices in CBOs. Management was conceptualized under the classical management process perspective; these four management phases—planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating—guided the interview process and code development. Data analysis was conducted thematically using Atlas.ti software. The protocol was approved by the ethics committees of the National Institute of Public Health of Mexico (INSP), the National Agency for the Control of AIDS in Nigeria (NACA), and the Nigerian Institute for Medical Research (NIMR). Results We found that CBOs implement variable management practices that can either hinder or facilitate the efficient provision of HIV prevention services. Long-standing CBOs had relatively strong organizational infrastructure and capacity that positively influenced service planning. In contrast, fledgling CBOs were deficient of organizational infrastructure and lacked program planning capacity. The delivery of HIV services can become more efficient if management practices are taken into account. Conclusions The delivery of HIV services by CBOs in Nigeria was largely influenced by inherent issues related to skills, organizational structure, talent retention, and sanction application. These, in turn, affected management practices such as planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating. This study shows that KP-led CBOs are evolving and have strong potentials and capacity for growth, and can become more efficient and effective if attention is paid to issues such as hierarchy, staff recruitment, and talent retention.
