Abstract This paper reports on the development of a new technique for inexpensive measurements of SO2 profiles using a modified dual-ozonesonde instrument payload. The presence of SO2 interferes with the standard electrochemical cell (ECC) ozonesonde measurement, resulting in −1 molecule of O3 reported for each molecule of SO2 present (provided [O3] > [SO2]). In laboratory tests, an SO2 filter made with CrO3 placed on the inlet side of the sonde removes nearly 100% of the SO2 present for concentrations up to 60 ppbv and remained effective after exposure to 2.8 × 1016 molecules of SO2 [equivalent to a column ∼150 DU (1 DU = 2.69 × 1020 molecules m−2)]. Flying two ECC instruments on the same payload with one filtered and the other unfiltered yields SO2 profiles, inferred by subtraction. Laboratory tests and field experience suggest an SO2 detection limit of ∼3 pbb with profiles valid from the surface to the ozonopause [i.e., ∼(8–10 km)]. Two example profiles demonstrate the success of this technique for both volcanic and industrial plumes.

In a present day a necessity for fair allocation of transmission loss in a deregulated electricity market. This paper presents modifiedZbus loss allocation method to calculate the allocation of transmission loss loss . The procedure depends on straightforward circuit laws and doesn't include any suppositions. results obtained for IEEE 14 Bus system are analysed with the other present methods

In this paper a new technique is proposed based on the comparison between Conventional Transistorized Flip-flop and Data transition Look ahead D flip flop here we are checking the working of DLDFF and the conventional D Flip-flop after that we are analyzing the characteristic comparison using power & area constraints after that we are proposing a Negative Edge triggered flip-flop named as Switching Transistor based D Flip-Flop(STDFF) with reduced number of transistors which will reduce the overall power area as well as delay. The simulations are done using Microwind & DSCH analysis software tools and the result between all those types are listed below. Our proposed system simulations are done under 50nm technology and the results are tabulated below. In that our proposed system is showing better output than the other flip-flops compared here.

BACKGROUND: Recently, some new methods for sexing of chicken eggs by fluorescence and Raman spectroscopy through the shell membrane have been proposed. On the other hand, in another investigation, a new virus medical imaging has been suggested. AIM: In this research, summing over these considerations, a new technique for sexing of chicken eggs by virus spectroscopy through the shell membrane is proposed. METHODS: (Please, add text …) RESULTS: (Please, add text …) CONCLUSION: It is shown that viruses outside the shell of egg can communicate with materials inside it and determine the gender of chick embryo and its evolutions.

Fractures provide the place for oil and gas to be reserved and they also can provide the pathway for them to move into the well, so having a proper knowledge of them is essential and every year the companies try to improve the existed softwares in this technology. In this work, the new technique is introduced to be added as a new application to the existed softwares such as Petrel and geoframe softwares. The data used in this work are image logs and the other geological logs data of tree wells located in Gachsaran field, wells number GS-A, GS-B and GS-C. The new technique by using the feed-forward artificial neural networks (ANN) with back-propagation learning rule can predict the fracture dip data of the third well using the data from the other 2 wells. The result obtained showed that the ANN model can simulate the relationship between fractures dips in these 3 wells which the multiple R of training and test sets for the ANN model is 0.95099 and 0.912197, respectively.

ABSTRACTA new technique for obtaining the electroreflectance (ER) spectrum, Vacuum Electroreflectance (VER), is introduced. In VER, the modulating electric field is applied capacitively using a transparent electrode as one plate and the sample as the other plate, with vacuum in between. In this geometry, cooling or heating is achieved without any sample preparation. Precise positioning is achieved by piezoelectric motors monitored by a HeNe interferometer, and cooling to 80 K by the Joule-Thompson effect. GaAs samples with different Si doping are used to compare VER to Electrolyte ER and Photoreflectance.

Our research entitled “the human / the idea in the polyphonic novel, the example of « Blood and Fire’s Tetrology » of Abdolmalek Mortadh, is studying a new technique that appears in modern times, the dialogism that’s resulting from the romantic polyphony, which is working on the variation of thoughts, on perceptions and ideological visions arising from the characters. Our subject focuses mainly on the way from which the character/ Idea’s image is formed in Abdolmalek Mordadh’s narrative discourse. Besides, we will reveal the variety of provocative styles used as a writing technique by the writer, and that's for a purpose of extraction The hero’s word about him, and about the surrounding community, which sometimes came in the form of internal dialogues between the hero and himself, then between the hero and a fictional character from his imagination. At other times, it came in the form of external dialogues Between the hero and other characters, all these dialogues in its different forms and multiple elements contributed to the formation of the hero's character, to saying his word and revealing it. The author Abdolmalek Mortadh relied on that strategy to impart objectivity in the visions and perspectives of the novel's characters in order to achieve the free and democratic nature of dialogism that the critic and theorist Mikhail Bakhtine has invited to adopt it in his encyclopedic work “Problems of Dostoevsky’s poetics”. The formation of the hero's image in the various methods adopted by the writer will inevitably make him a human with an idea, thus, he will make his novel a vast arena in which ideas interact and wrestle in a democratic and pluralistic atmosphere and his characters will turn into a set of ideas and ideologies each of them tries to stand out and appear at the expense of the other without the slightest interference by the writer, That is the focal point of the polyphonic novel.

In this paper, we develop a new technique for solving transportation problems (TP) and develop a computer code by using mathematical programming language AMPL. There are many existing techniques for solving TP problems in use. By these techniques one has to determine initial basic feasible solution at first then improve this solution to determine optimal solution by another method. But this process is very lengthy and time consuming. By our technique we can determine optimal solution directly without determining initial basic feasible solution and optimal solution separately and we hope that this technique will provide an easier way than that of the other methods. We use the idea of decomposition based pricing (DBP) method to develop our technique. To our knowledge, there is no other paper which used DBP to solve TP. We demonstrate our technique by solving real life models developed by collecting data from a business organization of Bangladesh.Dhaka Univ. J. Sci. 64(1): 45-50, 2016 (January)

A new technique is developed for deriving velocities of propagation and shapes of travelling wave profiles in non-linear situations. Two models are considered for the spread of infection through a linear community. In one the infected individuals move, in the other the phenomenon of infection.
