Clinical coordinators are expected to provide leadership in a pharmacy department. Leadership involves influencing the activities or behaviors of another person. Leaders exhibit several characteristics, including an understanding of themselves, the ability to understand human nature, and the ability to adapt to rapid change. The key leadership skills are situational discretion, communications, motivation, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. The situational and principle-centered leadership models provide useful tools for the development of leadership skills.

The work of public health requires frequent decision making, problem solving, and transactions among people who have different stakes in the outcome. When authority is distributed among those people—such that no one stakeholder can make a unilateral and binding decision upon others— then that outcome is negotiated. Those negotiations involve exchanges in which the parties both contribute and glean expertise, resources, and information through the process. The tenor of the negotiation is often determined by the temperament, strategies, and desired outcomes that each of the stakeholders bring to the process. Are the negotiations collaborative or contentious? How are the parties framing the questions and issues to be resolved? What is each hoping to achieve, and might there be opportunities to reap mutual benefits?

Group counseling is a group therapeutic activity to help the counselee identify problems, find alternatives using problem- solving and decision-making, and then act. The existential-humanistic approach in group counseling aims at influencing the counselee to focus on human nature, including the ability to be self-aware, self-determined, and responsible. For clients that need help with self-adjustment, counseling can be combined with the expressive arts techniques of Randai (a folk theatre tradition of the Minangkabau ethinic group in West Sumatra). The application of Randai can be done at the working stage. Using Randai, clients can be trained to be cautious, compact, cooperative, diligent, and optimistic.

ABSTRAK: Konseling kelompok merupakan kegiatan terapeutik berkelompok guna membantu konseli mengidentifikasi, menemukan alternatif pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan dan mewujudkannya. Knowledge management (KM) could be described as a management system that supports the creation, sharing and retrieving of valued information, expertise and insight within and across communities of people and related organizations using information and communication technologies and hence it is a combination of the effective application of information technlogy and management of human resources. KM is becoming a core competitive factor in construction operations. This paper presents the results of two case studies of KM practices in large AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) companies through desk-top study and semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that implementing KM in AEC companies leads to competitive advantages and improved decision-making, problem solving and business performance. The results also indicateed that while technology plays an important role, top management commitment, total employee involvement, performance assessment and the culture of knowledge-learning and sharing must be considered when implementing KM. Therefore it is suggested that the implementation of KM should incorporate the company's vision, work processes, technology and culture, to improve the ability of knowledge creating, capturing, sharing, retrieving and ultimately, to improve the company's competitive advantage, decision making, problem solving and innovation.

A rapidly increasing number of businesses rely on visualisation solutions for their data management challenges. This demand stems from an industry-wide shift towards data-driven approaches to decision making and problem-solving. However, there is an overwhelming mass of heterogeneous data collected as a result. The analysis of these data become a critical and challenging part of the business process. Employing visual analysis increases data comprehension thus enabling a wider range of users to interpret the underlying behaviour, as opposed to skilled but expensive data analysts. Widening the reach to an audience with a broader range of backgrounds creates new opportunities for decision making, problem-solving, trend identification, and creative thinking. In this survey, we identify trends in business visualisation and visual analytic literature where visualisation is used to address data challenges and identify areas in which industries use visual design to develop their understanding of the business environment. Our novel classification of literature includes the topics of businesses intelligence, business ecosystem, customer-centric. This survey provides a valuable overview and insight into the business visualisation literature with a novel classification that highlights both mature and less developed research directions.

In this paper, a new decision-making algorithm has been presented in the context of a complex intuitionistic uncertain linguistic set (CIULS) environment. CIULS integrates the concept the complex of a intuitionistic fuzzy set (CIFS) and uncertain linguistic set (ULS) to deal with uncertain and imprecise information in a more proactive manner. To investigate the interrelation between the pairs of CIULSs, we combine the concept of the Heronian mean (HM) and the complex intuitionistic uncertain linguistic (CIUL) to describe some new operators, namely, CIUL arithmetic HM (CIULAHM), CIUL weighted arithmetic HM (CIULWAHM), CIUL geometric HM (CIULGHM), and CIUL weighted geometric HM (CIULWGHM). The main advantage of these suggested operators is that they considered the interaction between pairs of objects during the formulation process. Also, a number of distinct brief cases and properties of the operators are analyzed. In addition, based on these operators, we have stated a MAGDM (“multiattribute group decision-making”) problem-solving algorithm. The consistency of the algorithm is illustrated by a computational example that compares the effects of the algorithm with a number of well-known existing methods.
