Each year since the FCC rescinded the Fairness Doctrine in 1987, efforts have been made in Congress to restore it. This indepth look at the denial of a license to Washington state religious station KAYE, which broadcast very strong conservative views, attempts to balance the public interest in diversity with concerns about fairness. This study demonstrates how citizen “watchdog” groups used the Fairness Doctrine to rid the airwaves of a broadcaster and highlights inherent conflicts in First Amendment theory.

The issue of comparable worth arose as a result of the discovery of serious gender inequities in the operation of the compensation system of Washington State government. Subsequent developments elsewhere have further added to the salience of the pay equity issue. In the context of this highly charged political context, what attitudes toward pay and compensation do women in the public service tend to hold? On the basis of employee surveys conducted in both the State of Washington and among the U.S. federal workforce, findings are reported that suggest that women are less likely to be dissatisfied with their pay than men. The implications of these findings are discussed, both with respect to the future politicization of the comparable worth issue and the proper assumptions to be made in conceptualizing the motivational basis of public employee behavior.

Actually, it’s so important to articulate procedures that enable to analyze real work made in schools on Key Competences (KKCC). The aim of this study it was studied the perception management teams and teachers of Physical Education (PE) about this curricular element. The sample used in the research covers all the secondary schools in the capital of Burgos (Spain), a total of thirty. It was studied, using the descriptive analysis of a series of questionnaires completed by teachers, the assessment made them on the use of KKCC as an element of learning by the student. It has also conducted a single case study as a participant observer during a school year in a representative sample center, in order to examine in detail in the daily contribution to competencies. Participating teachers, despite favorable consideration to the integration of KKCC in the classroom, demonstrate a lack of information by the public administration, resulting in a lack of teacher training in regard to the possible application tools the classroom.

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by a coronavirus, designated SARS-CoV-2, which is responsible for a global pandemic in 2020. Public interest in this disease has led to the publication of thousands of articles in the medical literature in a very short timeframe. It is imperative that medical research into COVID-19 is conducted quickly and safely, and that due reference is given to the ethical considerations enshrined in the ICH GCP guidelines, according to the Declaration of Helsinki. In order to review the reporting of ethical considerations in these papers, we hereby propose a protocol for a systematic review of COVID-19 papers up to April 14th 2020. The search criteria proposed for the review are based upon what would be a reasonable search conducted by a lay member of the public with access to PubMed.gov. It is proposed to publish the findings of the review with a summary of the institutional Research Ethics Committee response to the challenges of reviewing and approving clinical research proposals in the time of a pandemic.

The increase in the budget deficit BPJS in the first 3 years of implementation JKN require special attention. One of the problems in the implementation of JKN is high late payment of premiums by the participants of the Non PBI Mandiri. The purpose of this study was to determine the participants' perceptions of Non PBI Mandiri to the recommendations transition strategy JKN premium payer. This study is a policy with qualitative descriptive approach. The study design used policy aims to draw up a recommendation is the Case Study on the phenomenon of late payment of premiums. Depth interviews with 11 informants participants Independent Non PBI done with purposive sampling quota system. The result showed that the presence of positive consequences as the public response to the concept of a transitional strategy premium payer. Participants claimed to be greatly assisted if the program was held because it can ease the burden of their medical expenses when his advanced age and does not have income again, providing peace in the certainty of change of insurer premiums in non-productive age. Conclusion of the study were breakthrough made in a transitional strategy premium payer has received positive responses from the public policy goals.
