Relevance of the work is due to the increase of crimes committed with the use of cloud technologies and lack of scientific support and research methods of obtaining information located in the cloud storage. Currently, there is a significant increase in incidents committed using cloud technologies. Therefore, to obtain forensically important information from the cloud storage is an urgent task. The process of obtaining such information is a complex technical actions that require a lot of experience and time. The data obtained in this work, experts will optimize actions to improve the efficiency analysis of incidents in the area of information security related to the use of cloud technologies, both through optimization of labor and time costs, and due to the quality of research results.

Australia’s current attempt to develop a process to evaluate the quality of research (Excellence in Research for Australia – ERA) places a central emphasis on the disciplinary organisation of academic work. This disciplinary focus poses particular problems for Applied Linguistics in Australia. This paper will examine Applied Linguistics in relation to this issue of discipline in two ways. First, it will examine ways in which Applied Linguistics has articulated for itself its disciplinary nature. In most formulations of the focus of Applied Linguistics, the emphasis has not been on identifying a discipline, but rather on identifying an area of focus. Such formulations necessarily cover a very diverse range of research methods, theories, etc. This approach can be seen as one of emphasising diversity and breadth within the field. Other attempts have been made to characterise Applied Linguistics in more discipline-like terms. Such broad characterisations however conceal a high degree of internal diversity. Applied Linguistics does not appear to be a ‘discipline’ but rather an interdisciplinary field of enquiry. Second, the paper will examine some possible implications of the diversity of Applied Linguistics for how it is positioned through the ERA process.

Linking a publication with scientific research results and the use of information resources is a key component of the collection, development and assessment of an academic library. Librarians often use quantitative data, but it is not easy to come by. Directly connecting library and information services to the impact they have can be quite difficult. Focusing on the 2010–2014 period, we have linked the quality and quantity of published papers to usage statistics for the newly acquired consortia access to scholarly journals in three international publisher databases: ScienceDirect, SpringerLink and WileyOnline. We found that the share of scholarly journals from the ScienceDirect, SpringerLink and WileyOnline consortia cited by University of Primorska researchers’ in their scholarly papers has gradually increased every year, ranging from 13.5% in 2010 up to 24.8% in 2014. The share of scholarly papers published by University of Primorska researchers’ in scholarly journals with the highest impact (measured in Web of Science and Scopus) has also increased substantially, from 18.03% in 2011 to 31.55% in 2014. Study shows that better access to quality information resources for scientific researchers lead to an increase in its use and results in higher quality research shown by the gradual increase of publications of research results in higher impact scholarly journals.

Introduction: The utilization of the medical research results is one of the most important indicators in the development of this profession, which provides effective care to patients and improves the quality of care. However, performing based on the evidence-based results has been unsuccessful in some cases. This study aimed to investigated and prioritize the factors affecting evidence-based medicine among physicians affiliated to Iranian Health insurance. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 150 physicians affiliated to Iranian Health insurance in Tehran city in 2018. The simple random sampling method was used to collect the data. The data collection tool was a questionnaire containing of three parts: demographic questionnaire, Fonk (1995) evidence-based medical barriers questionnaire that included four domains and 25 questions, as well as a researcher-made questionnaire that prioritized the factors influencing evidence-based medicine implementation. Data were analyzed by SPSS version 21 and Expert Choice software using hierarchical analysis method. Results: Most physicians were male (53.3%) and worked as an official employee. Among four dimensions, the highest mean and standard deviation was related to organizational impact, while the lowest was related to the quality of research and possible outcomes. Regarding the factors of organizational impacts, the highest weight or priority was attributed to the feeling of insufficient independence to change care methods with a weight of 0.259. Among the factors related to the research quality, the highest weight and priority was related to the factor of methodological defects in the research with a weight of 0.192. Considering the factors related to the skills of conducting research, the highest priority and weight was attributed to the lack of documentary evidence for the performance change with a weight of 0.320. Moreover, regarding the factors related to communication and access to the findings of the research, the highest weight and priority was in the factor of unavailability of actual articles (0.475). Conclusion: The findings of this study showed that physicians considered problems and barriers related to organization, individual, and quality of research studies. Therefore, facilities should be created for using research findings as well as the conditions for updating physicians' knowledge, skills, and attitudes to use the research results.

The article is devoted to the problems of quantitative and qualitative evaluation of research work. These problems are being actualized under the globalization influence of the formation of an innovative economy, which requires adequate financial support for research, education and other innovative factors. The quality of scientific activity has become one of the criteria for success in the modern world. Finding criteria for determining effective domestic research, taking into account the needs of national economic development in the face of increasing challenges of global competition, is extremely relevant. Improving the reliability of the quality of research results will stimulate innovation, creative search and productive use of its results. The article analyzes and generalizes the advantages and disadvantages of approaches to assessing the quality of research results. The advantages of scientometric evaluation (citation index, Hirsch index, impact factor) of scientific activity, productivity and progress include ease of use, low cost of assessment, as well as the ability to conduct it at the level of individual researchers, teams, organizations, countries and regions. It is proved that in order to activate innovative processes in the economy and to make full use of the potential of science in the process of technological modernization of the Ukrainian economy, it is necessary to combine quantitative and qualitative approaches to assessment. Applying only quantitative (scientometric) estimates will not produce the expected results. The problem of objective assessment of the quality of work of a researcher goes beyond the simplified formal scientometric indicators. This approach does not allow for high objectivity to evaluate the scientific result. Therefore, to evaluate the performance of researchers, it is proposed to use the dynamics of the quantity and quality of the content of the scientific result (innovation, generalization, validation and durability of the results) and expert judgment (the level of solving the research problem, or the usefulness of the obtained scientific results). Proposed changes to the provisions of the Concept of reforming the system of financing and management of scientific and technical activities and a plan of measures for its implementation. It is concluded that a comprehensive and targeted approach will help to create appropriate prerequisites for state support and ensure the development of innovative factors for the growth of the national economy.

The article deals with the issue of the nature and quality of reviews of scientific publications in the research area of architecture and urban planning. The aim of the article is to indicate the unique character of the undertaken research topic, often implying unconventionally undertaken research methods. As a result, the proposals for extending the offer of publishing patterns are discussed, which could enable the presentation of research results in the discipline of architecture and urban planning. These present, in a way that goes beyond the schemas, issues from the border of exact, humanistic, natural, social and artistic sciences. The methods used allow for the characterization of selected scientific publications as well as scientific reviews.
