In the monograph attempts to present and describe innovation as a process structure of the full life cycle from inception of an idea to its transformation into innovation. To formalize different information material about the subject of the study used the methodology of system approach. The authors consider practical ways and technologies that enable the transformation of brilliant ideas, terms, concepts, models, designs and innovative projects. The presence of a wide range of views on the phenomenon of "imagination" as the psychological basis of creative activity to developing new material and spiritual values suggests that this phenomenon in the scientific view is still a problem. At the core of the problem is a contradiction: there is a creative activity that is carried out through imagination, but imagination itself as a phenomenon disappears during analysis, which makes it necessary to consider it based on a fundamentally new methodological approach. As a methodology proposed functional system approach. Considered, based on the proposed approach, the functioning of the verbal imagination in the process of creating a verbal image as an artificial system. In terms of the functional system approach, “verbal imagination” is defined as a metasystem - a complex of certain mental operations (actions) of a subject that arises and functions only when the subject needs to control and manage his cognitive processes during the creation of a verbal image.

Thinking Process

Writing, regarded as a thinking process enables language learners to explore and transform their ideas into words in accurate and appropriate ways. Although it has been taught from the Elementary school level up to the higher level of education, English teachers and students encounter various challenges. For students, they still get difficulties in writing a text even after being taught. For teachers, correcting students’ writing increases their workload. Therefore, how to reduce the load of teaching writing and to decrease students’ difficulties in writing have become important problem to solve. Through applying a technique in teaching writing, this research aimed to explore whether the application of peer review technique can improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. The method applied in this research was a classroom action research. The subject of the research was X-4 class SMA Negeri 21 Medan. The instruments of collecting the data were writing tasks as quantitative data while observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, diary notes and interview as qualitative data. The finding showed that Peer Review Technique gives contribution to improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. Keywords: Achievement, Writing, Recount Text, Peer Review Technique

This research developed Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) e-module integrated with predict, observe, explain (POE) model on the subject matter of Earth Layer and Its Dynamics for grade VII students. This study aimed to reveal i) the feasibility of the developed e-module for grade VII students, and ii) the practicality of the developed e-module and its dynamics. This is a developmental research adopting the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, i.e.: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of the limited test consisted of 15 students of grade VIII.G of Public Junior High School 8 Yogyakarta. The data were collected using a product feasibility assessment sheet for material and media experts, a product practicality assessment sheet for teachers, and a product readability assessment sheet for students. The results show that the developed e-module was feasible to be used according to the material and media experts and the developed e-module is practical according to teachers and students.

Household electric blankets are widely used in China, but the problem of quality and safety is also more prominent, which is a serious threat to the health and safety of consumers. The structure characteristics and working principle of household electric blanket are analyzed. The hazards in the each stage of full life cycle are identified, including the stages of designing, manufacturing, packaging, transporting, utilizing and recycling. Hazard identification of each stage is made with methods of scenario analysis, safety check list, fault hypothesis analysis, hazard and operability analysis, failure mode and effect analysis and fault tree analysis, respectively.

The subject of the study is comprehensive understanding of the life and creativity by I. Sats – a significant figure in the national musical life of the early twentieth century.The purpose of the article is exploring the circumstances of I. Sats’ activity in the socio-cultural context of the era.The methodology of the article includes: historical and chronological method – for studying the events of the artist’s biography; source method – for research of archival materials, correspondence, reconstruction of composer’s creative life; hermeneutical analysis method – for interpretation of literary inheritance (libretto, music criticism) by I. Sats in the context of the early twentieth century; logic-generalization method – to summarize the results of the study.As a result of the research, a complex view on the multivectoral creative activity by I. Sats was formed, his significant role in the formation of new genres of musical and theatrical creativity, development of the humanitarian space of Chernihiv, Irkutsk, and Moscow was proved. The application of the results of the research in scientific, music-pedagogical and educational activities will significantly expand the established ideas about the development of the national musical culture.Key words: music for theater, Moscow Art Theater, satirical opera, I. Sats, Chernihiv region, Irkutsk music classes.

The Impact

The aim of the study is to characterize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the administration of the educational process on the examples of legal and linguistic-didactic aspects. The object of the study is systemic and functional changes in science and education under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The subject of the study is public relations in the field of education and science in their legal and linguistic-didactic aspect under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Research methods are general scientific and special scientific methods, in particular, system-structural, formal-legal, hermeneutic; methods of analysis, synthesis. As a result of the research, the peculiarities of administration of educational processes in the conditions of COVID-19 in the aspect of mechanisms of legal support of activity of bodies of education and science, linguodidactics were formulated; the characteristic of systemic changes in the sphere of education which have occurred under the influence of the distribution of a coronavirus is carried out; describe the main approaches contained in the current scientific literature to solve the above problems.
