The aim of the article is to analyze theoretical and methodological provisions related to the definition of directions and principles of implementation of a systematic approach to the use of optical research methods, in particular micro-objects. Subject of research is substantiation and formulation of the classification characteristics of such systematic approach, considering the requirements of forensic techniques. Methodology: The study applies such methods of scientific knowledge as dialectical method, system and structural method, logic and legal method, methods of systematic analysis, logical method. Research results: The article studies the problematic issues of a systematic approach to the choice of scientific and technical methods and means for micro-object examination. Practical consequences: The authors argue that optical methods of the micro-object examination require classifying and systematizing to provide a holistic view of their potentials, as well as the nature of the information that can be obtained about the object being examined. Value / originality: The analysis of clarified classification characteristics and requirements for examination methods in forensic science enables to propose the algorithm of the systemic approach to the creation of the open system classification of methods of micro-object examination and to make justified conclusions.

It can be shown that the different conceptions of ‘simulation’ (the one of culture critique on the one hand and the denomination of technical applications on the other) that seem to be incompatible with each other can be reconciled on a single spectrum. Its basis in models, its replacement of reality, its lack of reference and of precession of the referent are some pejorative characteristics often emphasized in media philosophy with regard to simulations, for which the sciences applying computer simulations have no use for. It helps crossing over the views that first seem opposite to each other, but that turn out to be compatible if its root in reality is recognized and thus the representational logic is accepted at least according to the intention. The chapter combines ideas of the 'simulacrum' retrieved in the natural sciences with traces of cybernetic thinking in media studies. The whole study builds on a definition of computer simulation in the technical sense as the involvement with and the act of execution f a dynamic mathematic or procedural model that projects, depicts, or recreates a system or process.

The need to solve analytically intractable models has led to the rise of a new kind of science, computational science, of which computer simulations are a special case. It is noted that the development of novel mathematical techniques often drives scientific progress and that even relatively simple models require numerical treatments. A working definition of a computer simulation is given and the relation of simulations to numerical methods is explored. Examples where computational methods are unavoidable are provided. Some epistemological consequences for philosophy of science are suggested and the need to take into account what is possible in practice is emphasized.

The stages of introduction of computer simulation tools in the production process of The Rostov Foundry are considered. A system for estimating the results of simulation is proposed, which includes the definition of complex parameters that allow an assessment of the causes and the probability of formation of shrinkage defects. An equation that determines a relationship between results of simulation and actual rejects in production is proposed. The feeder operation index is suggested to use for estimation of the reasons for the formation of shrinkage defects. The yield index is suggested to evaluate the possibility of reducing the weight of gate system. Equations for calculating of these indices are developed. A systematic approach is presented for the application of simulation results, which provides for the organization of a database of the technologies being studied. The development of this base allows not only to accumulate the experience, but also to apply it to minimize errors and save time in the process of introducing new castings. The results of practical application of the developed system for 10 positions are presented, which allowed to increase the yield by 6.9% and to reduce the total defects rate by 5.1%.

A computer simulation approach for engineering air-jet spun yarns is proposed, and the advantages of computer simulations over experimental investigations and stand-alone mathematical models are discussed. Interactions of the following factors in air-jet spun yarns are analyzed using computer simulations: yarn count and fiber fineness, fiber tenacity and fiber friction, fiber length and fiber friction, and number of wrapper fibers and wrap angle. Based on the results of these simulations, yarn engineering approaches to optimize strength are suggested.

This work studies the aggregation of an synthetic ultraviolet absorbent, named 2-hydroxy-4-perfluoroheptanoate-benzophenone (HPFHBP), in the interface between two solvents which can not completely dissolve each other. The aggregation is studied by computer simulations based on a dynamic density functional method and mean-field interactions, which are implemented in the MesoDyn module and Blend module of Material Studios. The simulation results show that the synthetic ultraviolet absorbent diffuse to the interface phase and the concentration in the interface phase is greater than it in the solvents phase.

Analysis of the amount of financing the hajj bailout for the cost of the pilgrimage (Case Study of Bank Sumut Syariah Sub-Branch Stabat).Asmawarna Sinaga and Anjur Perkasa Alam. Hajj financing is a loan from a sharia bank to customers to cover the shortage of funds to obtain a seat (seat) Hajj at the time of repayment BPIH (Hajj Travel Expenses). This financing product uses the Qardh Wal Ijarah principle. The purpose of this research is to know the view of Islamic law against financing of Hajj bailout fund and to know the view of Islamic law about ujrah fee on akad of bailout fund of Hajj. This research is field research. The definition of the Hajj bailout is a bailout fund from a bank to a special customer to cover kekurangandana to cover the lack of funds to obtain a portion number at the time to pay the cost of organizing the pilgrimage. The research design uses a qualitative approach with non-statistical analysis While the data analysis techniques use content analysis and interactive methods consisting of data reduction, data collection, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study note that the akad bailout funds in Islamic banks contain multi-akad, where the contract used qardh and ijarah is allowed. While the view of Islamic law regarding the taking of ujrah fee on hajj bailout fund is not in accordance with sharia due to the percentage of ujrah fee based on qardh fund.

In the modern Russian philosophy, discussions about the phenomenon of computer simulations in the scientific research practice of conducting experiments are just beginning to pass the stage of initiation in small interdisciplinary groups studying this new direction for the philosophy of science. At the same time, in Western philosophy by the current moment there have been formed entire directions for the study of computer simulations. Different groups of researchers in different ways form ideas about the basic characteristics of simulations: from skeptical views on their nature, which are of no philosophical interest, to extremely revolutionary attitudes that assign simulations to the main role in the next expected turn of philosophy, comparable in its power to the linguistic turn in early XX century. One of the main controversial issues in Western philosophical thought was the search for relevant criteria and signs of simulations that could create a solid basis for formulating a rigorous definition of this phenomenon. Thus, through the definition, researchers first of all try, on the one hand, to solve the taxonomic problem of the correlation and interconnection of simulations with other types of experiment: natural, laboratory, mental, mathematical. On the other hand, to reveal for philosophy ontological and epistemological foundations of simulations, which carry the potential of new philosophical knowledge. This article is devoted to a brief review of the existing concepts of representatives of Western schools of thought on the phenomenon of computer simulations in the context of the philosophy of science. The structure of the review is built on three basic conceptual directions: 1) definition of the term "computer simulation"; 2) computer simulations as an experiment; 3) the epistemic value of simulations. Such a review can become the subject of discussion for Russian researchers interested in the impact of computer simulations on science and philosophy.

The paper deals with mathematical modelling and computer simulation of a gearbox system. Results of computer simulation show new possibilities of extended interpretation of a diagnostic acceleration signal if signal is obtained by synchronous summation. Four groups of factors: design, production technology, operation, change of gear condition are discussed. Results of computer simulations give the relation between inter-teeth forces and vibration (acceleration, velocity). Some results of computer simulations are referred to the results obtained in rig measurements and in field practice. The paper shows a way of increasing the expert's knowledge on the diagnostic signal, which is generated by a gearbox system, on a base of mathematical modelling and computer simulation.

AbstractWe conduct molecular dynamics computer simulations of fracture in silica glass using the van Beest, Kramer, and van Santen model. Stress is applied by uniaxial strain at different pulling rates. Comparisons with previous fracture simulations of silica that used the Soules force function are presented. We find that in both models stress is relieved by rotation of the (SiO4)-2 tetrahedrons, increasing Si-O-Si bonding angles, and only small changes in the tetrahedron dimensions and O-Si-O angles.
