The purpose of the textbook is to prepare students for the use of the German language in their future professional activities, both orally and in writing. The textbook consists of 12 lessons-topics, applications and a dictionary of 2500 lexical units. Each lesson-theme contains relevant specialty texts for the learner and introductory reading, a list of lexical units, a number of exercises, dialogues and role-playing games. All texts are authentic and borrowed from the original German literature. The textbook is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying in the areas of training "Tourism" and "Hotel business".

The purpose of this article is to study and research the methods and forms of using the motivational capabilities of pedagogical games in the process of mastering a foreign speech, in particular the Russian language in non-philological higher educational institutions. The methodology of the article is based on the effective use of various modern pedagogical approaches, accompanied by gaming technologies in the study of Russian as a foreign language. The practical significance of the article lies in the possibility of further application of situational role-playing games, both in psychological and pedagogical activities and in the educational process.

The process of building students' competence must meet modern requirements and include the use of innovative technologies. The development trends of modern society have led to the emergence of a competency-based approach in vocational education. In the process of building professional competence, it is necessary to use technologies that meet the requirements of the Federal state educational standards which contribute to the development of practical focus of training. Among such technologies we single out technologies for holding a round table. The technologies of the round table are not new, but due to combination with various innovative technologies, they become more relevant. The implementation of the round table in the training of vocational education teachers is a discussion process that speculates about a relevant topic requiring a comprehensive analysis. Modern conditions provide arrangements of round tables with their own specifics. The purpose of the article is to identify the effectiveness of holding round tables in students’ preparation in higher educational institutions. The article presents basic principles on which the technology of the round table is based, its ideas and essence, as well as the features of its holding. A study conducted at a pedagogical university during the training of vocational education teachers is presented. It showed the need for implementing round-table technologies in preparing students for future professional activities, as the ones allowing students to build effective discussions, negotiate based on arguments and facts. We have identified the effectiveness of the "round tables" in the training of students in higher educational institutions. The study made it possible to establish the level of students’ preparedness for conducting effective discussions for the implementation of future professional activities in secondary vocational educational institutions. The technology of the round table allows to increase the knowledge level of students. The results can be used in students’ training in various faculties.

In the publication the scientific-theoretical and methodological monographic study of V. S. Kruglyk "The system of training of future software engineers for the professional activity at higher educational institutions" has been analyzed, the study reflects the author conceptual approach to the scientific understanding of the problem of training software engineers for professional activities. The structure and content of the monograph have been analyzed; the scientific novelty of the research which consists in the development and substantiation of the author pedagogical system of training future software engineers for their professional activity and the structure of professional competence of a software engineer has been highlighted.

Abstract The article deals with the content of future customs officers’ professional training. Such notions as “training”, “specialists’ professional training”, “customs officers’ professional training”. The article presents an overview of the scientific literature, theoretical analyzes of materials concerning the issues of future customs officers’ professional training in the higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland, still remaining open. The major scientific approaches of leading domestic and foreign scientists to study future customs officers’ professional training have been characterized, in particular competence approach, functional approach, instrumental approach, learner-centred approach, axiological approach, historical and systematic-andcomprehensive approaches, theoretical generalization The conception of the research problem in the educational sphere of higher educational institutions has been theoretically generalised. The point of the article is focused on the fact that professional training of future specialists of customs authorities is a process of learning, understanding and specific knowledge, skills and proficiencies of future customs officers who perform the functions of future professional activities, fulfil their functions in accordance with their professional duties during customs service. Also it has been noted that professional training of future customs specialists is caused by personal, practical, functional, historical factors that it is important in the process of understanding this phenomenon and in the research and development processes.

The article is devoted to the problem of formation of universal competencies. The purpose of the work is to determine the optimal conditions for efficient formation of universal competencies of intercultural interaction. The authors substantiate the idea that, along with professional competencies, the employers increasingly demand a high level of universal competencies in modern graduates of higher educational institutions. The article dwells on the peculiarities of formation of intercultural-interaction universal competence as a complex characteristic of the graduate’s aptitude to apply the acquired foreign-language knowledge, skills and abilities in standard and professional situations. The research identified the interconnection between the universal professional and general professional competencies. The article considers the subject-oriented methods of teaching a foreign language, which along with the universal competence, contribute to the formation of students’ GPC (general professional competencies) and PC (professional competencies). The basic concepts in respect of the above are presented and analysed; the ratio of maturity of this competence in the process of foreign language teaching is highlighted. A number of methods necessary for the formation of intercultural-interaction universal competence were identified for the development of the educational/methodological complex under the discipline “Foreign language in professional activities” within the system of training for the master degree in the field 38.04.01 “Economics”. The considered subject will be interesting for specialists in different spheres of humanitarian knowledge: foreign language teachers of higher educational institutions, representatives of educational and methodical associations, methodologists.

The article notes that since 2015, the number of opponents has increased, who from time to time question the feasibility of the existence of departmental universities in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The most active discussions took place around obtaining legal education in departmental universities. Regulations, draft concepts and laws, opinions of scientists on the priority of granting the right to higher legal education are covered: only to higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine or also to higher educational institutions with specific training conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is noted that the issue of the need to obtain higher legal education in the specialty 081 "Law" for investigators is acute. High quality of legal education is one of the integral signs of competence of such persons, and when this quality is combined with the formation of professional skills on the basis of higher education with specific conditions of legal education, you can get a high-quality professional lawyer who can act even in extreme conditions and make legally correct decisions. This is especially true of police investigators, who, when making procedural decisions, must know a number of branches of law, in particular: criminal, criminal procedural, administrative, civil, etc. In the case of the specifics of the activity, there is often a need for knowledge of banking, housing, finance, tax, labor and other branches of law. At the same time, the task of the future investigator is not only to get acquainted with the content of legal norms, but also to be able to apply them in different legal situations, while professionally responding to legal conflicts that often arise, as well as apply the case law of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. human rights. This cannot be achieved in six months on the basis of the primary training center and the Police Academy. Based on the analysis of the investigator's competencies and consideration of his functional re-sponsibilities, the need for legal education for representatives of pre-trial investigation bodies is substan-tiated.

Due to difficult and stressful conditions intrinsic to the work of officers in special operation divisions of correctional system, the problem of professional preparedness of trainees of educational institutions for duty in these divisions is vital. The current study aimed at developing a program for training the professional preparedness in the students of the Russian Penitentiary Service higher educational institutions for duty in divisions of special operations through strengthening the major components of their professional preparedness (spiritual, mental, physical and special action-related), and not the least by identifying the applied sports which are most effective for the task. The research was carried out at the Academy of the Russian Penitentiary Service with 142 students of the higher educational institutions of the Russian Penitentiary Service and 46 officers of special operation divisions of the correction system involved in the concluding part of the research and 50 trainees of the Academy of the Federal Penal Service of Russia in the experimental part. Testing of the program (including educative measures, psychological trainings, optional courses in applied sports — martial arts and special subjects) has proved its efficiency.

The article is devoted to the health problem of teachers in the sphere of higher education. Professional factors which adversely affect the health of the teachers are discussed. It is concluded that it is necessary, from the position of an integrated approach, to study the health state of teachers in higher educational institutions and to develop measures to optimize it under current conditions.
