Abstract: The Covid-19 has led to comprehensive changes in the education sector. Physical distancing requirements have seen education programs in Denpasar city, Bali province, Indonesia move online. During the Covid-19 pandemic from February-May) 2020, this study was conducted to determine student e-learning satisfaction and e-learning system success. Student satisfaction was measured by e-learning attitude, e-learning quality, and e-learning flexibility. The research was conducted at two private universities in Bali, Indonesia and involved 257 respondents. Respondents were student actively engaged in e-learning during Covid-19. The results found a significant positive relationship between student e-learning attitude and e-learning quality on student e-learning satisfaction, and also student e-learning satisfaction on e-learning system success; however, the influence of e-Learning flexibility on student e-learning satisfaction was not significant. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama pandemi Covid-19 (Feb-Mei) 2020, bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan mahasiswa mengikuti program e-Learning dan keberhasilan program e-Learning selama pandemi Covid-19. Pengukuran kepuasan mahasiswa dilakukan melalui variabel sikap mahasiswa, kualitas e-learning, dan fleksibilitas e-learning. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di dua Universitas swasta di Bali, Indonesia, dengan populasi 718 dan 257 sampel yang diambil menggunakan formula Slovin. Responden adalah mahasiswa aktif yang mengikuti e-learning selama Covid-19. Data dianalisis menggunakan program SmartPLS 3,0. Hasil menemukan bahwa tiga hipotesis diterima dan satu hipotesis ditolak dari empat hipotesis yang diusulkan. Universitas diharapkan untuk memperhatikan waktu dan tempat pelaksanaan yang nyaman bagi mahasiswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran e-learning demi meningkatkan kepuasan mereka terhadap program e-learning.Kata kunci: sikap e-learning, kualitas e-learning, fleksibilitas e-learning, kepuasan e-learning siswa, keberhasilan sistem e-learning

This study was performed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of deep learning systems using ultrasonography (USG) images of the submandibular glands (SMGs) in three different conditions: obstructive sialoadenitis, Sjögren’s syndrome (SjS), and normal glands. Fifty USG images with a confirmed diagnosis of obstructive sialoadenitis, 50 USG images with a confirmed diagnosis of SjS, and 50 USG images with no SMG abnormalities were included in the study. The training group comprised 40 obstructive sialoadenitis images, 40 SjS images, and 40 control images, and the test group comprised 10 obstructive sialoadenitis images, 10 SjS images, and 10 control images for deep learning analysis. The performance of the deep learning system was calculated and compared between two experienced radiologists. The sensitivity of the deep learning system in the obstructive sialoadenitis group, SjS group, and control group was 55.0%, 83.0%, and 73.0%, respectively, and the total accuracy was 70.3%. The sensitivity of the two radiologists was 64.0%, 72.0%, and 86.0%, respectively, and the total accuracy was 74.0%. This study revealed that the deep learning system was more sensitive than experienced radiologists in diagnosing SjS in USG images of two case groups and a group of healthy subjects in inflammation of SMGs.

Socially guided vocal learning, the ability to use contingent reactions from social partners to guide immature vocalizations to more mature forms, is thought to be a rare ability known to be used only by humans, marmosets and two unrelated songbird species (brown-headed cowbirds and zebra finches). However, this learning strategy has never been investigated in the vast majority of species that are known to modify their vocalizations over development. We propose a novel, preliminary evolutionary modelling approach that uses ecological, reproductive and developmental traits to predict which species may incorporate social influences as part of their vocal learning system. We demonstrate our model using data from 28 passerines. We found three highly predictive traits: temporal overlap between sensory (memorization) and sensorimotor (practice) phases of song learning, song used for mate attraction, and social gregariousness outside the breeding season. Species with these traits were distributed throughout the clade, suggesting that a trait-based approach may yield new insights into the evolution of learning strategies that cannot be gleaned from phylogenetic relatedness alone. Our model suggests several previously uninvestigated and unexpected species as likely socially guided vocal learners and offers new insight into the evolution and development of vocal learning. The sustainable development of science and environmental education is a core mechanism in the world education system. The implementation of the goal of establishing science and environmental education comprehensively in higher education, especially in vocational education, poses a challenge. Basic vocational education is a category of the education system, as well as sustainable development, which involves the technical and vocational education (TVE) system (20–30 general/compulsory/elective credits required). Awareness of the sustainable development in science and environment is getting more and more emphasized by educators. For students’ learning to use, it was recommended that universities use education for sustainable development (ESD) in TVE programs. This study proposes clarifying whether anticipating the needs of TVE university students is more conducive for them. Also, for the global understanding about innovative education, the “awareness of the sustainable development in science and environment” was involved in our experimental items. The learning satisfaction derived from students from the collaborative teaching of the industry experts in the TVE system is another point of focus. Students who take the course attend six weekly three-hour periods in class. An e-learning system is utilized so that learning resources created by industry experts can be provided. The deployment facilitates the evaluation of basic vocational education because teaching is not only performed in a traditional class but also prompted via a valuable e-learning system. The results showed that “Level of respect during the collaborative teaching of industry experts” (mean = 3.93; S.D. = 0.751) was rated by students as satisfactory and “Overall efficiency of teaching materials” (mean = 3.47) was rated as the lowest of the items. “Awareness of the sustainable development in science and environment” (mean = 3.86; S.D. = 0.752) was rated by students as highly satisfactory. To verify the result, an analysis of the improvement of learning satisfaction is discussed. Practical implications and future work are also discussed.

Based upon the expectation-confirmation theory (ECT), this study propose a theoretical model that examines the impacts of the critical antecedents on college student English learning satisfaction and continuance intention to stick with a blended e-learning environment. The model was validated using a questionnaire survey of 313 college students. The researchers applied the partial least squares (PLS) method to validate the measurement properties and proposed hypotheses of the proposed research model. The findings indicate that, in general, college students are satisfactory with and show positive continuance intention to stick with the blended e-learning system for their English learning. Our results can provide insight for the practices regarding planning and implementing a blended e-learning system to improve college students’ learning satisfaction and facilitate their continuance intention to stick with a BEL environment.

Many educational institutions have adopted e-learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic to maintain school teaching activities. However, systematic research on e-learning effectiveness in such a crisis is quite insufficient. This study aims to explore the impact of e-learning quality on students’ satisfaction during the pandemic in regard to academic achievement and behavioral intention. Through a questionnaire and semester score database, the relevant data of 683 students were collected and then analyzed by PLS-SEM. The result shows that instructor teaching quality and e-learning system quality influence students’ academic achievement and behavioral intention through increasing students’ e-learning satisfaction. E-learning system quality moderated the impact of instructor teaching quality on students’ e-learning satisfaction. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into the comprehensive implementation of e-learning during a crisis.

This paper aims at exploring the model of English mobile learning system based on constructivism. Firstly, it defines the concepts of constructivism, constructivism learning theory, mobile learning and mobile learning theory. Then, it summarizes and analyses the relevant researches on mobile learning at home and abroad. Then it elaborates the purpose, significance and research value of the topic, respectively. The research hypothesis is put forward, and the English mobile learning model based on constructivist learning theory is preliminarily expounded. Finally, the research ideas, research methods, technical routes and implementation steps are explained.

A preliminary study of human mammary carcinoma on the ultrastructural level is reported for a metastatic, subcutaneous nodule, obtained as a surgical biopsy. The patient's tumor had responded favorably to a series of hormonal therapies, including androgens, estrogens, progestins, and corticoids for recurring nodules over eight years. The pertinent nodule was removed from the region of the gluteal maximus, two weeks following stilbestrol therapy. It was about 1.5 cms in diameter, and was located within the dermis. Pieces from it were fixed immediately in cold fixatives: phosphate buffered osmium tetroxide, glutaraldehyde, and paraformaldehyde. Embedment in each case was in Vestopal W. Contrasting was done with combinations of uranyl acetate and lead hydroxide.
