The number of older and frail patients has greatly increased in nephrology departments. Traditional treatment options have become inappropriate because they seem unable to achieve goals such as quality of life. Principles from palliative care have been brought to chronic kidney disease management with good results; thus a new way to approach these patients has been reported. In Portugal, in 2011, Direcção Geral de Saúde published a guideline to substantiate supportive care as an option, for certain patients, in certain circumstances. The best evidence known at the time was stated and the conditions that should be met were regulated, but limited information was given about practical implementation of what. In this article we describe our experience with a supportive care program from planning to the implementation steps, since 2015. We reflect on the flowchart, the barriers, the conquests, and the data up to the end of 2020.

<p>This paper investigates student learning activeness as an important part of the formation and development of student potential. The aim of this paper is to describe the use of quizzes in lesson plans (practice questions) to encourage student activeness in online learning. Doing a <span>field practicum program </span>online presents its own challenges for teachers. One of them is related to the responses of students who are less active in learning. The solution applied is to use technology media for learning, namely using <em>Quizizz</em> to do practice exercises online. Divided into 10 implementation steps, the initial 8 steps are general steps such as making an online quiz on <em>Quizizz</em> while the last 2 steps are an adaptation done by the teacher himself. The implementation of this media in doing exercises shows that students are encouraged to be actively involved in learning. It can be seen in the attitude of those who are actively discussing (question &amp; answer). This emphasizes the real practice of a Christian teacher in living his salvation through holistic learning design, for example by utilizing technology in the classroom to encourage active student involvement. This research has many weaknesses such as data validity, problem deepening, and technical problems in using <em>Quizziz</em>. This can be an evaluation and input for writers and readers.</p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: </strong>Paper ini dibuat untuk melihat hubungan keaktifan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sebagai bagian penting dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan potensi siswa.

Any systems can be expressed by and connected with information. For the safety education system, doing so is essentially a process of safety information dissemination and cognition. Therefore, information is the core of the safety education system. At present, the key factors affecting the effectiveness of safety education are safety demand analysis information, the dissemination and cognitive processes of safety information and information feedback. Research on the construction of a framework model for safety education under the guidance of information flow clears and classifies information-related elements of the safety education process. Therefore, it is conducive to the construction of a safety education system to improve its management level and, through the rational use of information technology, to improve the conversion rate of safety information into safety behaviour. Based on a systematic review and comparison of the existing research perspectives on safety education and information-flow-based safety education (IFSE), this paper analyses the reasons why we need a new perspective on safety education. We introduce information flow into the safety education framework model. The fundamental and expanding elements of safety education propagation are examined and deduced based on information theory. Combined with the connotations of safety education and information flow, this paper analyses the implementation steps of IFSE and applies them to the safety education of new employees in metal and nonmetal mines. In the micro-design, virtual reality technology is used to integrate safety education content and information technology. A new perspective on safety education is created; then, the framework model of IFSE, its implementation steps and models of the processing and utilization processes of safety education are constructed. IFSE is a new perspective for realizing safety education in practice, and the framework model of IFSE provides rigorous theoretical knowledge. Of course, to improve IFSE in practice, more scientific and detailed evaluation methods need to be introduced. This paper is helpful for guiding the safety education theory research from “trivializes situated” to “systematic” and for guiding the design, implementation, assessment and optimization of the safety education practice.

The enormous progress in communication technology has led to a tremendous need to provide an ideal environment for the transmission, storing, and processing of digital multimedia content, where the audio signal takes the lion's share of it. Audio processing covers many diverse fields, its main aim is presenting sound to human listeners. Recently, digital audio processing became an active research area, it covers everything from theory to practice in relation to transmission, compression, filtering, and adding special effects to an audio signal. The aim of this work is to present the real-time implementation steps of some audio effects namely, the echo and Flanger effects on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Today, FPGAs are the best choice in data processing because they provide more flexibility, performance, and huge processing capabilities with great power efficiency. Designs are achieved using the XSG tool (Xilinx System Generator), which makes complex designs easier without prior knowledge of hardware description languages. The paper is presented as a guide with deep technical details about designing and real-time implementation steps. We decided to transfer some experience to designers who want to rapidly prototype their ideas using tools such as XSG. All the designs have been simulated and verified under Simulink/Matlab environment, then exported to Xilinx ISE (Integrated Synthesis Environment) tool for the rest of the implementation steps. The paper also gives an idea of interfacing the FPGA with the LM4550 AC’97 codec using VHDL coding. The ATLYS development board based on Xilinx Spartan-6 LX45 FPGA is used for the real-time implementation.

This study aims to analyze the strategy of organizing, presenting, and managing the tasmi' method and connecting verses in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Lathifiyyah Islamic Boarding School. This research uses qualitative research methods based on descriptive studies. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used steps of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data verification is done by using triangulation technique which compares data from three instruments and three different data sources. The results showed that the organization of this method was carried out by organizing the curriculum and memorization material starting from juz 1, where tasmi' was carried out in half juz to one juz instead of persurat. Organizing is carried out starting from planning, determining success indicators, objectives, materials, media, implementation steps and assessments. While the management is carried out in several stages, namely the acceptance of new students, the tahsin stage, the bin-nazhar stage, the tahfizh stage, the talaqqi stage, the Takrir stage, the tasmi stage, and the verse continuation stage.
