This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style and motivation on the performance of nurses in hospitals. Methods: This study is a systematic review and meta-analysis. Article searches were carried out using search engines, including Google Scholar, PubMed, Sciendirect, BMJ, and Garuda Portal. The keywords used were “leadership style” OR motivation AND performance AND nurses AND “cross-sectional”, performance AND nurses. Determination of the eligibility of articles using PRISMA. Results from the entire literature were selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Measurement of effect size using RevMan 5.3 program. Results: All research obtained using a cross sectional research design. Good leadership style increased nurse performance by 3.19 times compared to poor leadership style and was statistically significant (OR= 3.19; 95% CI= 1.76 to 5.79; p<0.001). The sample of leadership style variables is 1290 nurses. Good motivation can improve nurse performance by 3.65 times compared to poor motivation and is statistically significant (OR= 3.65; 95% CI= 1.95 to 6.82; p< 0.001). Conclusion: Leadership style and motivation as factors in improving nurse performance. The leadership style of the head must be adapted to the needs of each room and must be flexible. With the right leadership style, nursing services in the room can be aligned with hospital goals.

This chapter discusses the nature and operation of mandatory and default rules in fiduciary law, arguing that loyalty is a core element of every fiduciary legal institution. Loyalty is the hallmark of fiduciary law, as it requires persons in other-regarding positions of power to perform functions selflessly, rather than selfishly. However, there are many circumstances in which a person undertakes and exercises other-regarding powers, underscoring the fact that a broad range of persons may be the subject of fiduciary law. This chapter first provides an overview of key concepts and context, focusing on the distinction between mandatory rules and default rules as well as sources of such rules in fiduciary law. It then considers fiduciary loyalty, citing examples that illustrate how a baseline of fiduciary accountability is implied by the essential nature of fiduciary legal institutions, along with the mandatory or default quality of the duties of care and good faith. The main thesis of this chapter is that loyalty is a basic constituent element of all fiduciary legal institutions. Whether fiduciary principles are mandatory involves a consideration and determination of whether the relationship or institution is inherently fiduciary as matter of law and legal classification. It also highlights the modern trend toward codification and clear legislative demarcation of mandatory and default rules in fiduciary law.

Emotional intelligence plays a critical role in adolescence since it involves a change towards psychological, social, and sexual maturity; a stage in which the foundations of intimate social relationships are established. Emotional competences regulate the quality of these relationships in adolescence and can provide protection against or facilitate the use of violence within them. Based on the above, this study aims to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and violence exercised, received, and perceived by adolescents in dating relationships. A sample of 254 subjects (43.1% men and 56.9% women) between 12 and 18 years old was analyzed through the Emotional Intelligence Questionnaires of BarOn ICE:NA and Violence Exercised Perceived and Received by Adolescents VERA. The results of the research have shown that there is a significant and inverse relation between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and the violence exercised by adolescents in their dating relationships, and a positive and significant relation between emotional intelligence and the perception of violent behavior. For this reason, the importance of educating people about emotional intelligence from childhood within both the academic and family sphere is highlighted. This is fundamental to preventing the appearance of such violent behaviors and promoting an adequate adaptation to the environment.

This study investigated the neuroanatomical basis of the association between depression/anxiety and sleep quality among 370 college students. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between sleep quality and depression/anxiety. Moreover, mediation results showed that the gray matter volume of the right insula mediated the relationship between depression/anxiety and sleep quality, which suggested that depression/anxiety may affect sleep quality through the right insula volume. These findings confirmed a strong link between sleep quality and depression/anxiety, while highlighting the volumetric variation in the right insula associated with emotional processing, which may play a critical role in improving sleep quality.

High quality of the soldering process can be achieved with the right choice of the necessary soldering materials. Since wetting determines the further nature of the connection between the solder and the main soldering material, the contact angle  measurement  is the basis for quality control of soldering materials, provided that the basic requirements of the technological process. The determination of the contact angle value is carried out by the indirect method of the sessile drop, by measuring the basic parameters of the drop using infrared transducer. A smaller value of the contact angle corresponds to a better interaction of materials, and hence a better electrical contact
