Introduction: The association between nocturia and hypertension has been widely reported, yet remains poorly characterized, precluding a more refined understanding of blood pressure as it relates to the clinical urology setting. We synthesized current evidence on the relationship between nocturia and hypertension as a function of nocturia severity, age, sex, race, and diuretic use. Methods: We searched PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane databases for studies published up to May 2020. Random effects meta-analyses were performed to identify the pooled odds ratio (OR) for nocturia given the presence of hypertension. Meta-regression and subgroup analyses were performed to identify differences across demographic factors. We applied the Quality Assessment Tool for Observational Cohort and Cross-Sectional Studies to evaluate the quality of evidence. Results: Of 1530 identified studies, 23 met the criteria for inclusion. The overall pooled OR for the association of hypertension with nocturia was 1.26 (95% CI 1.22-1.29, p<0.001). Pooled estimates were 1.21 (1.16-1.25, p<0.001) and 1.31 (1.26-1.36, p<0.001) using a 1- and 2-void cutoff for nocturia, respectively (p<0.001 between cutoffs). The association was stronger in females compared to males (1.41 [1.29-1.53] vs. 1.26 [1.20-1.32], p<0.001), and in African-American (1.56 [1.25-1.94]) and Asian (1.28 [1.24-1.32]) versus Caucasian populations (1.16 [1.09-1.24]) (p<0.05for both). Age and diuretic use had no observable effect on the association between nocturia and hypertension. Conclusions: There exists an increased odds of nocturia in hypertensive individuals. This association is stronger following a higher nocturia cutoff, in females, and in some racial subgroups, but unrelated to age and diuretic utilization.

Initial assessment has a very important role in determining the right nursing diagnosis, planning nursing actions, implementing actions and assessing/evaluating nursing. Initial assessment data is incomplete, precise and accurate resulting in nursing care will not achieve optimal goals. This study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style and the completeness of filling out the initial inpatient nursing assessment at Bina Sehat Hospital Jember. The research design is descriptive correlation with cross sectional, data analysis chi square, total population of all inpatient nurses, with a total sample of 79 nurses (total sampling). The results showed that there was no relationship between leadership style and the completeness of filling out the initial inpatient nursing assessment at Bina Sehat Hospital Jember (p=0.772). The majority of leadership style assessments are participatory (82.3%), where from 79 nurse respondents, 47 nurses are majority with a working period of > 5 years (59.5%), while in terms of education the majority of D3 nursing graduates are 40 nurses (50.6 %). Hospital agencies can maintain a participatory leadership style carried out by the head of the inpatient room, to be able to work together in decision making that can increase the creativity and work responsibilities of nurses, one of which is the completeness of nursing documentation, so that quality nursing services will be created.

The demand safe for nursing sarvices, effective nursing services, excellent service, high standard of clinical services, causes nurses to be in a state of prolonged stress. The prolonged stress experienced by nurses will result in burnout which will directly impact the quality of care and quality of nursing services performed. if this is allowed to continue it will have an impact on the future of the hospital. This study aimed to know the relationship between interprofessional collaboration with the incidence of burnout in the hospital. This study used a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach to time. The population in this study were nurses in IGD, ICU, and ICCU. Interprofessional collaboration had no relationship with nurse burnout (p> 0.05). The results of the analysis showed that nurses experienced burnout because it was influenced by other factors such as work environment, workload and work stress. Further analysis from the researcher shows that good interprofessional collaboration is needed in improving the performance of nurses but it is not the only factor that can affect nurses experiencing burnout.

Abstract Objectives Conduct a systematic review (SR) to determine the relationship between dietary macronutrient distribution and nutrition-related outcomes in pediatric and adult participants with cystic fibrosis (CF). Methods A literature search of Medline, CINAHL and Embase databases was conducted to identify peer-reviewed articles published from January 2002- May 2018 that examined human participants with CF and addressed the research objective. Articles were screened for relevance, data was extracted and summarized, and risk of bias was assessed by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, practitioners, patient advocates and SR methodologists. Results A total of 2409 articles were identified in the search and eight cross-sectional studies and one case-control study met inclusion criteria (N = 4 in pediatrics, N = 4 in adults, N = 1 combined). Evidence quality was low due to weak study designs, small samples size and inconsistent outcome reporting. Available studies did not show statistically significant relationships between dietary macronutrient distribution and lung function (FEV1%) (3 studies) when estimated protein intake ranged from 10–23% of energy, fat intake from 20–46% of energy and carbohydrate intake from 32–67% of energy. Macronutrient distribution was not significantly associated with anthropometric measurements/growth (3 studies), gastrointestinal symptoms (2 studies), glucose fluctuations (1 study) or lipid profile (1 study) in this SR. There were no studies identified examining the relationship between macronutrient distribution and mortality or Quality of Life. Meta-analysis was not possible due to the low quality of data reported. Conclusions Recent evidence describing the relationship between dietary macronutrient distribution and nutrition-related outcomes in participants with CF is sparse and low in quality. The evidence reviewed does not suggest that dietary macronutrient distribution is related to key clinical CF outcomes. Higher-quality trials and longitudinal studies are needed to confirm these findings. The need for updated dietary studies is particularly important in light of recent therapeutic advances that are changing the clinical course of individuals with CF. Objective: This study is a meta-analysis that considers the association between dyadic coping and emotional functioning, and between dyadic coping and the quality of the relationship as perceived by cancer patients and their life partners. Methods: A systematic search was conducted in the electronic databases PsycINFO, PubMed, ScienceDirect and those peer-reviewed cross-sectional and longitudinal studies published up until April 2020 that investigated these relationships were selected. Results: A total of 1,168 studies were identified, of which 10 met the inclusion criteria (N = 1,727 couples). These evidenced statistically significant positive relationships between common dyadic coping and emotional functioning and between common dyadic coping and the quality of the relationship as perceived by patients and their partners. There was also a statistically significant positive association between stress communication (by oneself), supportive dyadic coping (by oneself and by partner), and the quality of the relationship. In addition, a statistically significant negative association was found between negative dyadic coping (by oneself and by partner) and the quality of the relationship as perceived by patients' partners and also between negative dyadic coping (by oneself) and the quality of the relationship as perceived by patients. Conclusions: The results suggest the existence of a significant association between dyadic coping and emotional functioning and between dyadic coping and the quality of the relationship as perceived by members of couples facing cancer. However, these results must be interpreted with caution due to the small number of studies included in the analysis. Clinically, an understanding of the existence of such relationships is helpful for the implementation, and study of the effectiveness of, interventions aimed at improving dyadic coping in order to improve both quality of life and quality of relationship in couples where there is an oncological diagnosis.
