Today, learning how to program or coding is an important issue even for children. So, pre-service Information Technology (IT) teachers are expected to have gained necessary skills for teaching programming. Considering that learning programming is not an easy process, we need icebreakers in order to change pre-service teachers’ perceptions of programming positively. This study focused on an implementation of a training of rapid application development (RAD). The aim of the study was to come up with an answer to the question; “can RAD be used as an icebreaker in order to change Turkish pre-service IT teachers’ perceptions towards programming positively?” The findings revealed that RAD tools can be used as icebreakers in the context of the study. In this respect, it is recommended that these tools be included in the higher education programs providing informatics education.

The supporting documents for accreditation forms are the most important part in the accreditation submission process. Otherwise the process of finding and collecting documents supporting accreditation forms are still done manually. This study aims to design the information systems which supports web-based accreditation in Department of Information Technology  UIN Ar-Raniry. The designing process refered to regulation of National Accreditation Board for Higher Education and followed the latest instrument in 4.0 version. The application has namely SIDASI 4.0. The research method of this study is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) process which uses the PHP programming language and MYSQL as database engine. SIDASI 4.0 can only be accessed by users who have already registered and obtained an account as username and password. The SIDASI 4.0 have support the accreditation submission phase as the digital documentation forms.

 Raharja Internet Cafe as a facility in Raharja College which is provided for Personal Raharja in helping provide the need for lecture activities. Raharja Internet Cafe has a problem, namely the sales system for applying color products that consumers have to come directly to the RIC room at LV-002 at Raharja College, but Raharja Internet Cafe cannot accommodate many consumers because of the limited area. These problems are the background for the establishment of an electronic sales system (e-commerce) based on Yii framework with the aim of facilitating the sale of color print products for consumers and staff of Raharja Internet Cafe. E-commerce website at Raharja Internet Cafe is a web-based application with a structured programming concept. The e-commerce application development Shop Copy Nicky uses 4 (four) stages in accordance with the steps that exist in software development, including the stages of observation, analysis, literature study consisting of 10 (ten) literature and implementation. The conclusion of the e-commerce website development on Raharja Internet Cafe is that the website built can make it easier for consumers to make transactions, and Raharja Internet Cafe can get comprehensive and real time reports about sales data, and payment systems for consumers that are easier because using a payment system that is done online.

Abstract — Kuliah Kerja Terpadu (KKT) adalah bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dengan pendekatan lintas keilmuan dan sektoral pada waktu dan daerah tertentu. Direktorat Jendral Pendidikan Tinggi di Indonesia telah mewajibkan setiap perguruan untuk melaksanakan KKT sebagai kegiatan intrakurikuler yang memadukan tri dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu : pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Diakhir kegiatan mahasiswa diwajibkan membuat laporan yang isinya adalah kegiatan, informasi atau gambaran serta program dari sejak perencanaan, pelaksanaan serta hasil yang dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat sistem yang dapat memudahkan dalam melaporkan kegiatan KKT. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode RAD (Rapid Application Development). RAD adalah metode pengembangan aplikasi yang relefan dalam pembuatan sistem ini. Dari penelitian tersebut maka akan menghasilkan aplikasi web yang dapat diakses dengan mudah. Kata kunci — KKT, Pelaporan, RAD, Web  Abstract — Integrated Working Lecture (KKT) is a form of community service activities by students with a cross-scientific and Sectoral approach at a particular time and area. The Directorate General of Higher Education in Indonesia has obliged every university to implement the KKT as an Intrakurikuler activity that combines tri dharma of higher education is research, and community service. At the end of the activity the student is required to make a report whose contents are activities, information or description and program from the moment of planner, the implementation and the result achieved. This study aims to create a system that can facilitate in reporting KKT activities. This research also uses the RAD(Rapid Application Development) method, RAD is a relevant application development method in making this system From the research it will produce web applications that can be accessed easy.Keywords — KKT, RAD, Reporting, Web.

AbstrakWork From Home (WFH) merupakan teleworking suatu tipe pekerjaan yang dilakukan dari rumah secara regular tanpa harus datang ke tempat kerja. Di masa pandemi covid-19, pemerintah menerapkan peraturan WFH bertujuan untuk mengurangi penyebaran covid-19. Proses monitoring tridharma dosen sebelumnya dilakukan secara langsung oleh Prodi S1 Manajemen harus dilakukan dengan cara daring. E-Monitoring merupakan pengawasan dan pemantauan proses kerja melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Tujuan dari penelian ini adalah penerapan Trello dalam membantu Prodi S1 Manajemen  memantau kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dosen pada masa pandemi covid-19. Trello merupakan suatu aplikasi visual dengan gaya kanban (kartu catatan atau note) yang digunakan untuk mengorganisai pekerjaan. Penerapan Trello sebagai tools dalam melakukan e-monitoring  tridharma Perguruan Tinggi dosen Prodi Manajemen sangat bermanfaat. Melalui trello, Kaprodi dapat mengetahui sejauh mana progress yang dilakukan dosen pada kegiatan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. E-Monitoring is the supervision and monitoring of work processes through the use of information technology. The purpose of this research is the application of Trello in helping the Undergraduate Management Study Program to monitor the activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Trello is a visual application in the style of a Kanban (note card or note) used to organize work. The application of Trello as a tool in conducting e-monitoring of the Tridharma of Higher Education for Management Study Program lecturers is very useful. Through Trello, the Head of Study Program can find out the extent of the progress made by lecturers in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activity.Keywords: E-Monitoring, Trello, Work From Home

Sales in this case in the form of product sales is one of the important activities for the development of the company and is a very important aspect for the company. Problems a rising in the company regarding the promotion and sales, because it still uses manually, visit home for promotion and provide brochures on the road side, System design used with a waterfall methode, while the data collection techniques use research methods with observation, interviews, and library studies. And database application development tools use MySQL and PHP programming language by using Laravel framework. The purpose of this research is to design a sales system evenly and ease of transaction customers without having to come to physical stores directly. The result of this research is to provide an alternative sales and promotion. It is application created can create increase in company sales.

Distance education through the Internet represents a paradigm shift in higher education. The implementation of an information technology (IT) enabled teaching and learning environment necessitates the redesign of conventional structures. This paper addresses some of the issues involved in the design and delivery of an Internet-based interdisciplinary graduate program in Informatics at Middle East Technical University in Turkey. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the development of a number of guidelines for leveraging the use of IT in distance education programs at universities.

<p>The development of Information Technology is increasingly demanding that Higher Education to provide information quickly to meet the needs of Information and Monitoring Course for Lecturers, Students and Admin staff. This study aims to design a Model Information System and Monitoring Course at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Semarang Web-based. Coverage includes lecture planning, lecturing, evaluation of lecturing, control of lecturing and improvement of lecture planning. This research produces an application of Information System and Monitoring model of lecturing which aims to facilitate and accelerate the preparation of time, room and course schedule and ease in monitoring the attendance status of lecturers in class either to students or other parties in real time without having to come to campus check board information . The contribution of this research results will greatly affect the application of science and technology for higher education institutions and to realize the development of Faculty of Engineering Semarang University as a leading Faculty in 2023. The method used is dynamic priorities method which prioritizes the process that has the highest <br />priority and is able to respond to changes in the system environment operate. Modeling the system using XAMPP package in which integrated MySQL module for database purposes, PHP for management of information systems, and Apache for simulation purposes. The results showed the implementation of the application of Information Systems Monitoring System Lectures Faculty of Engineering, University of Semarang goes well.</p>

Education 21st century is all about enfolding digital technology. The theme “Higher Education 4.0: Knowledge, Industry and Humanity”, mandated from Malaysia’s former Higher Education Minister Datuk Idris Jusoh. The minister identified that universities have to be trained to adapt and change the curriculum so that graduates are capable to fill in jobs which are yet to arise. This Fourth Industrial Revolution 4.0 as part of the call to revamp the Malaysia higher education system. There are nine Malaysia future-proof skills that has been listed under Ministry of Higher Education module on Framing Malaysian Higher Education 4.0 – future-proof talents. There are creativity and innovation; Holistic Entrepreneurial and Balanced; Resilience; leadership; Compassion and mindfulness; values and ethics; flexibility and adaptability; critical thinking and problem solving and finally communication and language proficiency. The above mentioned points are future-proof skills sets for Malaysian graduates. There are three additional future-proof attributes which are lifelong learners, multiple intelligence and competencies and computational thinking. This qualitative study explored the significant area in the recent digital technology and development hence, it will be one of the crucial knowledge that should be acquired by everyone and anyone not only in Malaysia but in the whole wide world. Technology is moving rapidly and educators have to keep up with this fast pace. This issue attentively allied with the terminology pioneered by Jeanette Wing that is called computational thinking (CT). The interviewed is carried out among eleven Malaysian pre-service teachers and existing teachers under PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) program in the United Kingdom, to study on their attitudes towards the idea of learning programming. Through the interviews, the researcher was able to record and interpret trainee teachers’ perceptions of the motivation to learn programming. The data were then analysed and categorised before the final codes were determined to get the final output using thematic code analysis technique. The findings show that learning programming is possible for those who had no computing background thus answered one of the aim of this study that CT skills could be adopted in any fields and more creators or designers will be established compared to the passive users. There was a rational consideration of the value of learning programming to their professional skills and the studies have asked whether understanding such will raise the participants’ engagement with learning a programming language and thus assist them to acquire CT skill.
