Aim: The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between leisure management and test anxiety levels of university students and their differentiation status in terms of some demographic variables. Methods: The relational survey model was used in the study, and there were 284 (147 male and 137 female) university students selected from the universe by convenient sampling method. Personal information form prepared by the researchers, “Leisure Management Scale (LMS)” and “Test Anxiety Inventory (TAI)” were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, t-Test and Pearson Correlation analyzes were used by using SPSS 26.0 program. Results: There was no significant difference in the sub-dimensions of the leisure management scale and the total score averages according to the gender variable, while a significant difference was found in the TAI "delusional", "affective" sub-dimensions and total score averages. According to the family income variable of university students, a low-level and negative significant relationship was found in the "leisure attitude" sub-dimension of LMS, and in the total TAI and "delusional sub-dimension". A significant relationship was found between the age variable and the "goal setting and method" sub-dimension of LMS. A low and negative significant relationship was found between leisure and "goal setting and method", "leisure attitude" and total LMS score averages. In addition, while there was no significant relationship between LMS and TAI, it was found that there was a low and negative significant relationship between the "leisure attitude" sub-dimension and the test anxiety inventory and its sub-dimensions. Conclusion: It can be said that as the level of attitude towards leisure activities of university students’ increases, the feeling of exam anxiety may decrease, and the increase in free time will adversely affect the level of leisure management and attitude. The present study aims to compare the creativity of students in virtual and classroom courses at University of Isfahan and study its prediction based on the personality traits of these students. The statistical population of the study consisted of all faculty members and students at University of Isfahan in academic year 2017‑2018. Among them, 150 subjects were selected using Morgan Table and random sampling method. The data collection was done through Abedi’s Creativity Questionnaire (1993) and Costa and McCrae Personality Questionnaire (1992). Data were analyzed by T‑test for independent groups, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. Results show that there is a significant difference in creativity scores of students attending virtual courses and those attending classroom courses, as well as between female and male students. However, the relationship between personality traits and creativity was significantly stronger among classroom students than the virtual students, and these traits were better predictors of creativity in classroom students than in virtual students. Based on findings, it can be concluded that more usage of the information and communication technologies such as internet, wireless networks, cell phone, etc.(ICTs) by virtual students not only increases their creativity, but also, as an important environmental and intrapersonal factor, affects the relationship between personality traits and creativity among these students and weakens it. This finding shows the great role of acquisitive‑digital factors in students’ creativity.

Introduction: Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in women with an increasing outbreak. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between defensive styles and Islamic quality of life (QoL) with death obsession in women with breast cancer. Methods: This research was a correlational study. The statistical population of the study included 220 female patients with breast cancer; referring to Cancer Patients Association of Gorgan in 2019. According to Krejcie and Morgan’s table, 136 women were selected from breast cancer patients by simple random sampling. Islamic QoL questionnaire of Mohammad Namaqi et al., defense styles questionnaire of Andrews et al., and obsession with death questionnaire of Abdel-Khalek were applied. Data were analyzed; using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation, and stepwise regression. Results: The results showed that there was a negative significant relationship betweenthe developed defensive style and the Islamic QoL with death obsession (P=0.001). There was a positive significant relationship between the neurotic and undeveloped defensive style with the death obsession (P=0.001). In addition, the results of the regression showed that the Islamic QoL (-0.257) and developed defensive style (-0.196) had the potential for predicting the obsession of death. Conclusions: These results emphasize the necessity of the role defensive styles and Islamic QoL on the death obsession. So, therapists and counseling in the treatment of cancer for reducing obsession may benefit from paying attention to Islamic QoL and defensive styles.

Introduction: Occupational stress is one of the most important phenomena in the workplace. Mental health, as an important factor in all personal, social, and occupational life aspects, is one of the areas of interest in mental health. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between job stress and mental health among workers of central iron ore in Bafgh City, Iran. Methods: This was a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population included 2400 people (1600 workers and 800 employees) working in central Bafgh iron ore in 2014. The sample size was estimated as 331 using the Morgan and Krejcie table. Approximately, 216 persons were employed in the labor sector and 115 in the employment sector. Data collection tools included the Goldberg general health questionnaire (GHQ) and Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS). The DASS was designed in three parts. The first part included demographic data (7 items). The second section had 28 questions and dealt with the participants' general health status. The third part included 42 questions and was about occupational stress. Later, Spss21 was used and Pearson correlation coefficient and regression tests were run to analyze the data and test the hypotheses. Results: The results showed that mental health was higher in employees, while job stress was higher among the workers. This indicated a significant association between job stress and mental health in both employees and workers. However, regarding the demographic variables, only gender was related to mental health and rest of the demographic variables had no significant relationship with mental health and job stress (5≥participants). Conclusion: Occupational stress was related to mental health in employees and workers; this can affect the level of production and product quality. Furthermore, occupational tress and mental health not only affect the workers and employees, but also expose the society and other people at risk. Consequently, it is necessary to plan and render different services at the occupation environment to decrease job stress and improve the current situation.

The main purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceived parenting styles with loneliness in single students of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz. This is a correlation research. The statistical population included all single students of Islamic Azad University of Ahvaz (12 thousand students) in the year 2014 -2015. This is a convenience sampling type. A total of 200 students are selected as subjects. The research tools include perception of Parenting Styles Questionnaires (PAQ) and the UCLA loneliness. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression, univariate and multivariate variance (MANOVA) analysis, Schaeffer test and Cronbach’s alpha method are used in order to analyze the data. The results of correlation coefficient showed that there is negative and significant relationship (r=0.05) between perceived authoritative parenting styles and loneliness and there is positive and significant (r=0.18) between perceived permissive parenting styles and loneliness. Also, there is a positive and significant relationship between perceived authoritative parenting styles and loneliness (0.15). In sum, it can be found from this research that authoritative parenting style plays an important role in non-lonely children.
