Objective: to build and validate the content of an instrument to investigate changes in the Nursing care provided to people with chronic wounds. Methods: methodological study, consisting of the stages of development and content validity, according to the criteria of clarity and relevance, by six judges, using the Delphi technique in two rounds. A Coefficient of Content Validity ≥ 0.8 was considered adequate. Results: the first version of the instrument contained 15 questions and after the judges’ evaluation it was reduced to 11, addressing the periods before and during the pandemic. In the second round of evaluation, it was verified that the instrument showed a total content validity coefficient equal to 0.96. Conclusion: the instrument showed evidence of content validity and can be used to investigate possible changes resulting from the pandemic of COVID-19 in the Nursing care of people with chronic wounds in Primary Care.

ABSTRACT Objective: to describe the content validation process of a Virtual Learning Object to support the teaching of nursing care systematization to nursing professionals. Method: methodological study, with quantitative approach, developed according to the methodological reference of Pasquali's psychometry and conducted from March to July 2016, from two-stage Delphi procedure. Results: in the Delphi 1 stage, eight judges evaluated the Virtual Object; in Delphi 2 stage, seven judges evaluated it. The seven screens of the Virtual Object were analyzed as to the suitability of its contents. The Virtual Learning Object to support the teaching of nursing care systematization was considered valid in its content, with a Total Content Validity Coefficient of 0.96. Conclusion: it is expected that the Virtual Object can support the teaching of nursing care systematization in light of appropriate and effective pedagogical approaches.

ABSTRACT Objective: to construct and validate educational technology on COVID-19 and essential care for families of children/adolescents with sickle cell disease. Methods: this is a methodological study, in three stages: 1) elaborated educational technology, using the Doak, Doak and Root theoretical-methodological model; 2) content and appearance validation by the content validity coefficient. Delphi technique was applied in two rounds (Delphi I [12 judges]/Delphi II [11 judges]); 3) conducting a pilot test with six families. Results: “Sickle cell disease and COVID-19: essential care” included: consequences of COVID-19 in sickle cell disease, guidelines for reducing the risks of contracting the virus and having complications, signs and symptoms of COVID-19, guidelines in case of child/adolescent with suspicion or symptoms of COVID-19. Global content validity coefficient (Delphi II): 0.98. Conclusion: educational technology presented content and appearance validity for families of children/adolescents with sickle cell disease, related to COVID-19.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to build and validate educational self-care technology for informal caregivers. Methods: methodological study, anchored in the Delphi technique, carried out in a municipality in the state of Paraná, Brazil, between September 2018 and November 2019. It was developed in three stages: situational diagnosis; elaboration of educational technology; content and appearance validation by expert judges and informal caregivers, using the content validity index and coefficient of variation. Results: after the steps of the methodological process, an educational technology called “Taking Care of Those Who Care” was produced, as an information tool that deals with the self-care of informal caregivers, receiving a content validity index above 0.86 and a variation coefficient. below 20% on all items. Conclusions: the educational technology was built and evaluated with satisfactory rates by the specialists and target audience, showing a high correlation of agreement, characterizing it as adequate and informative to informal caregivers.

ABSTRACT Objective: to validate the content of a Standard Operational Procedure, regarding nursing interventions in emergency patients treated with vasoactive drugs. Method: methodological study, carried out from December 2015 to January 2016. Content validity was determined by 16 experts (13 nurses, 2 pharmacists and one biomedical scientist), who judged it through a four-point Likert scale. The items were evaluated in terms of: feasibility, objectivity, simplicity, clearness, pertinence and accuracy. The Content Validity Index was applied, accepting the value ≥ 0.90. Results: two rounds of evaluation were required to achieve the minimum index. The items were reviewed regarding writing, dilution, indication and replacement interval. The instrument was validated with 33 items and with total Content Validity Index of 0.99. Conclusion: the instrument was considered appropriate, fractionally and globally, for nursing care for the patient treated with vasoactive drugs in emergency, in a safe and reliable way.

The purpose of this study was to reconstruct Perroca's patient classification instrument; and to assess the content validity of the new version. A group of experts comprising ten nurses appraised the instrument, using the Delphi technique. Data collection took place from March 2008 to February 2009 by means of structured questionnaires sent by electronic mail. The new version contained nine nursing care areas. Agreement levels on the instrument structure amounted to > 90%, and ranged between 80 and 96% in the nursing care areas. The refinement of classification instruments is of great importance to generate valid and reliable data, supporting management decision making on nursing care planning as well as nursing workload measurement.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to build and validate three clinical simulation scenarios and report the application with candidates for the specialist’s degree in stomatherapy. Methods: methodological study, building three scenarios and evaluation checklists; content validation with judges, using content validity index and Modified Kappa Coefficient; pre-test and application. Results: scenarios built based on nursing care for: 1. insufficiency and venous ulcer; 2. demarcation of intestinal stomia; and 3. Clean intermittent catheterization. In the content validation of the 24 items appreciated, 83%, 80%, and 92% were validated without change. In the pre-test, the objectives and checklists were adjusted. In the application, to standardize the evaluation, actors and evaluators were trained previously, and each candidate passed the three stations. Conclusions: scenarios built and with validated content, based on evidence and covering the three areas of stomatherapy. The pre-test allowed for adjustments in the scenarios, and the candidates achieved the expected objectives.

Objetivo: Validar um conteúdo reestruturado de instrumento de classificação de pacientes internados pediátricos para classificá-los segundo a complexidade. Métodos: Estudo metodológico, convergente assistencial, realizado em um hospital escola. Foram utilizadas a técnica Delphi e a escala Likert, e o consenso foi ≥0,70. Dez juízes analisaram 15 indicadores de cuidado. Dois juízes avaliaram a confiabilidade em cem pacientes. Resultados: No terceiro ciclo Delphi, dez juízes validaram o conteúdo do instrumento reestruturado com 16 indicadores, com consenso geral de 95,8%. A confiabilidade de dois juízes apresentou intervalo de confiança geral de 0,96, Kappa de Cohen geral de 0,88 e Gwet’s agreement coefficient 1 equivalente a 0,96. A classificação como alta dependência se deu em 39,5%, semi-intensivo em 29,9%, intensivo em 16%, intermediário em 14,4% e cuidado mínimo em 0,2%. Conclusão: O instrumento reestruturado para classificar pacientes pediátricos internados de alta complexidade foi validado após a terceira fase Delphi.Descritores: Classificação; Estudo de Validação; Enfermagem Pediátrica Classification of pediatric patients for nursing care: restructured instrument validationObjective: To validate the restructured content of a hospitalized pediatric patient classification instrument to classify them according to their complexity. Methods: Methodological study, convergent care in a teaching hospital. Delphi technique was used, as well as a Likert scale, with consensus of ≥0.70. Ten judges analyzed 15 indicators of care. Two judges evaluated reliability in on hundred patients. Results: In the third Delphi cycle, ten judges validated the content of the restructured instrument with 16 indicators, with overall consensus of 95.8%. The interobserver reliability of two judges showed a general confidence interval of 0.96, general Cohen Kappa of 0.88 and Gwet’s agreement coefficient 1 equivalent to 0.96. Classification as highly dependent occurred in 39.5%, as semi-intensive in 29.9%, intensive in 16%, intermediate in 14.4% and minimum care in 0.2%. Objective: To develop and to test the validity of content and layout of a multidimensional tool to evaluate maintenance of the cold chain for immunobiological conservation.Method: A methodological study carried out in three steps: integrative review; development of theoretical and logical model for the development of the tool; implementation of the Delphi Technique to test the validity of content and layout. The Content Validity Index (CVI) and Content Validity Ratio (CVR) were calculated considering appropriate those values greater than or equal to 75% and 0.4, respectively.Results: The instrument consisted of 7 questions about structure and 20 about process, subdivided into three components: Transportation/Reception (n=3); Storage/Handling (n=13); Supervision/Permanent education (n=4). The CVI value was 87.4%, with values equal to 85.7% and 89% in the structure and process dimensions, respectively. The process components obtained CVI values equal to 88.9, 88.9 and 89.2%, respectively. The CVR was 0.8, with values equal to 0.7 and 0.8 in the structure and process dimensions. As for the layout validation, the questionnaire was considered intelligible.Conclusion: The study provides an instrument with validity of content and layout for health professionals in charge of the supervision of activities of immunobiological conservation, ensuring the maintenance of the immunogenic quality of the products offered to the population.

ABSTRACT Objective: To develop and test the content validity of the “Knowledge and Attitudes on Assessing Degrees of Physical Disability in Leprosy” instrument. Methods: Methodological study carried out between January and May 2019 in three stages: item generation, analysis of aggregated redundancy to the composition, and content validation, using the Delphi technique. Results: In the first evaluation, a relevance of ≥ 0.80 stood out for all items, except for 2.8, which was excluded. To make the instrument clearer, the sequence was renumbered from one to 32; 2.6, 3.1, and 15 were reformulated, and the others underwent modifications, except for ten and 13. After the second evaluation, all items obtained Content Validity Index > 0.90 and Kappa = 1.00. Conclusion: The instrument has an excellent content validity; it is inferred that it is adequate to measure the knowledge and attitudes of professionals in the assessment of physical disabilities in leprosy.

ABSTRACT Objective: To build and validate an educational booklet for preventing complications in intestinal ostomy and peristomy skin. Methods: Methodological study developed in: 1. Survey of the clinical profile of patients; 2. Integrative review; 3. Construction of technology; 4. Validation of educational material. The Delphi technique was used, with 18 judges with expertise in the field of stomatherapy. For data treatment, the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD), descriptive analysis, Kappa Index (K), binomial test and Content Validity Index (CVI) were used. Results: The agreement rate between judges was higher than 0.61, for K p> 0.05, a proportion of 80% for the binomial test and 80% for the CVI. . The booklet showed an excellent index for K, binomial test and global content validity, becoming validated. Final Considerations: The booklet was validated in appearance and content, being an instrument that can favor communication between professionals and people with ostomies.
