ABSTRACT Objective: To develop and test the content validity of the “Knowledge and Attitudes on Assessing Degrees of Physical Disability in Leprosy” instrument. Methods: Methodological study carried out between January and May 2019 in three stages: item generation, analysis of aggregated redundancy to the composition, and content validation, using the Delphi technique. Results: In the first evaluation, a relevance of ≥ 0.80 stood out for all items, except for 2.8, which was excluded. To make the instrument clearer, the sequence was renumbered from one to 32; 2.6, 3.1, and 15 were reformulated, and the others underwent modifications, except for ten and 13. After the second evaluation, all items obtained Content Validity Index > 0.90 and Kappa = 1.00. Conclusion: The instrument has an excellent content validity; it is inferred that it is adequate to measure the knowledge and attitudes of professionals in the assessment of physical disabilities in leprosy.

Methods: methodological study, anchored in the Delphi technique, carried out in a municipality in the state of Paraná, Brazil, between September 2018 and November 2019. It was developed in three stages: situational diagnosis; elaboration of educational technology; content and appearance validation by expert judges and informal caregivers, using the content validity index and coefficient of variation. Results: after the steps of the methodological process, an educational technology called “Taking Care of Those Who Care” was produced, as an information tool that deals with the self-care of informal caregivers, receiving a content validity index above 0.86 and a variation coefficient. below 20% on all items. Conclusions: the educational technology was built and evaluated with satisfactory rates by the specialists and target audience, showing a high correlation of agreement, characterizing it as adequate and informative to informal caregivers.

Method: Methodological study, developed from December 2018 to January 2019, in a Joint Neonatal Housing Unit of a teaching hospital, in three stages: bibliographic survey, construction of the instrument and content validation by nine judges. The content validity index was used above 80% and general analysis with ten requirements. Results: The instrument was organized in three domains: before bathing, during bathing and after bathing, with a total of 20 items. Two rounds of validation were carried out to adjust the suggestions; the second presented a percentage of agreement between the judges, equal to or above 0.82. Conclusion: The instrument “Good practices in the newborn’s bath” was considered representative and valid in terms of content.

Objective: Create and validate a podcast for dental surgeons as a guide after a dental avulsion. The validation was done through Google forms. Nine expert judges participated, following four aspects: characterization of the judges, content, functionality and appearance. The quantitative analysis was performed with Excel software to calculate the content validity index. Method: Methodological study with a quantitative and validation approach, carried out in three stages: integrative review of the literature; technology construction; validation of a post-avulsion podcast presented to nine expert judges. A Likert scale was used for data collection. For the analysis, a content validity index ≥ 0.75 was adopted. Results: The Content Validity Index presented values of 0.84% in its structure and presentation, 099% of high relevance for expert judges. Conclusion: The “Al Dente” podcast contains important information on dental reimplantation after an avulsion, resulting in preventive measures that directly influence health services.

The objective of the study was to validate the content of the dimensions that constituted nonadherence to treatment of arterial systemic hypertension. It was a methodological study of content validation. Initially an integrative review was conducted that demonstrated four dimensions of nonadherence: person, disease/treatment, health service, and environment. Definitions of these dimensions were evaluated by 17 professionals, who were specialists in the area, including: nurses, pharmacists and physicians. The Content Validity Index was calculated for each dimension (IVCi) and the set of the dimensions (IVCt), and the binomial test was conducted. The results permitted the validation of the dimensions with an IVCt of 0.88, demonstrating reasonable systematic comprehension of the phenomena of nonadherence.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to build and validate three clinical simulation scenarios and report the application with candidates for the specialist’s degree in stomatherapy. Methods: methodological study, building three scenarios and evaluation checklists; content validation with judges, using content validity index and Modified Kappa Coefficient; pre-test and application. Results: scenarios built based on nursing care for: 1. insufficiency and venous ulcer; 2. demarcation of intestinal stomia; and 3. Clean intermittent catheterization. In the content validation of the 24 items appreciated, 83%, 80%, and 92% were validated without change. In the pre-test, the objectives and checklists were adjusted. In the application, to standardize the evaluation, actors and evaluators were trained previously, and each candidate passed the three stations. Conclusions: scenarios built and with validated content, based on evidence and covering the three areas of stomatherapy. The pre-test allowed for adjustments in the scenarios, and the candidates achieved the expected objectives.

ABSTRACT Objectives: to develop and validate conceptual and operational definitions of nursing diagnoses of the International Classification for Nursing Practice for people living with Aids. Methods: methodological study with 100 individuals with Aids, in a hospital school. In addition, 19 nurses selected from the Lattes platform acted as experts in the validation process. The research was conducted, using three moments: identification and validation of the nursing diagnoses; construction of the conceptual and operational definitions of the diagnoses, and content validation, using the content validity index. Results: a total of 35 diagnoses were identified and 18 had their conceptual and operational definitions validated, with validity index of ≥ 0.8. Conclusions: the construction of the conceptual and operational definitions enables nurses to analyze the clinical inferences and endorse the nursing diagnosis, contributing to its predictive capacity.

Objective: To develop and to test the validity of content and layout of a multidimensional tool to evaluate maintenance of the cold chain for immunobiological conservation.Method: A methodological study carried out in three steps: integrative review; development of theoretical and logical model for the development of the tool; implementation of the Delphi Technique to test the validity of content and layout. The Content Validity Index (CVI) and Content Validity Ratio (CVR) were calculated considering appropriate those values greater than or equal to 75% and 0.4, respectively. Results: The instrument consisted of 7 questions about structure and 20 about process, subdivided into three components: Transportation/Reception (n=3); Storage/Handling (n=13); Supervision/Permanent education (n=4). The CVI value was 87.4%, with values equal to 85.7% and 89% in the structure and process dimensions, respectively. The process components obtained CVI values equal to 88.9, 88.9 and 89.2%, respectively. The CVR was 0.8, with values equal to 0.7 and 0.8 in the structure and process dimensions. As for the layout validation, the questionnaire was considered intelligible. Conclusion: The study provides an instrument with validity of content and layout for health professionals in charge of the supervision of activities of immunobiological conservation, ensuring the maintenance of the immunogenic quality of the products offered to the population.

Survey of the clinical profile of patients; 2. Integrative review; 3. Construction of technology; 4. Validation of educational material. The Delphi technique was used, with 18 judges with expertise in the field of stomatherapy. For data treatment, the Collective Subject Discourse (CSD), descriptive analysis, Kappa Index (K), binomial test and Content Validity Index (CVI) were used. Results: The agreement rate between judges was higher than 0.61, for K p> 0.05, a proportion of 80% for the binomial test and 80% for the CVI. . The booklet showed an excellent index for K, binomial test and global content validity, becoming validated. Final Considerations: The booklet was validated in appearance and content, being an instrument that can favor communication between professionals and people with ostomies.
