This research was aimed to discover the implementation of scientific approach on biology learning process of X class in discovery learning model performed by teachers. The type of this research was descriptive by using a survey method. The sample was collected through convenience sampling. The population in this research was biology teachers in Bantul, and this sample was 4 biology teachers of X class in State High Schools of Bantul Regency. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire, namely the questionnaire related to the perception of students toward the learning performed by teachers. The acquired data then analyzed descriptively by calculating the level of tendency of each learning aspect. The research results have indicated that the scientific approach in biology learning process of X class through discovery learning model has been implemented properly in accordance with the stages of discovery learning learning model.

The learning process of biology at SMAN 1 Batusangkar has used modules but has not used a scientific approach, so that it fully complies with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. While the models used in the learning process are not fully in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum. 2013, the module can be used with a scientific approach in the Discovery learning learning model in the learning process. The aims of this study is to see the effect of the use of modules with a scientific approach to the material of Archaebacteria and Eubacteria in the Discovery learning learning model on biology learning competencies of students of class X MIPA SMAN 1 Batusangkar on Archaebacteria and Eubacteria. This research is an experimental study with the research design of The Static Group Comparison Design. The results showed that the use of modules with a scientific approach to the material of Archaebacteria and Eubacteria in the Discovery learning learning model did not have a positive effect on the competency of biological knowledge and had a positive effect on the competency of attitudes and biology skills of students.

The 2013 Curriculum emphasizes on active learning pattern. However, based on the questionnaire spread in junior high school 18 Padang, it was gotten the result that teachers still have difficulty in implementing it, especially in affective competence of confidence. The affective competence of confidence will encourage students to be active in learning process, both in asking questions and expressing opinion. In cooperative learning, students are provided a vehicle to increase their confidence through presenting their discussion result in front of the class. By considering this issue, there is an alternative solution that can be used by teacher, which is example non example method. This method is one of cooperative learning method. Besides that, it can support the implementation of scientific approach and discovery learning model in learning process. The scientific approach and discovery learning model are the approach and model recommended in the 2013 Curriculum. Purpose of the research was to know effect of example non example method in scientific approach and discovery learning model on students' affective competence. It was a quasi-experimental research. It was done in junior high school 18 Padang to grade VII students. The instrument used was written test in form of multiple-choice and essay. Technique of data analysis used Mann Whitney U test. It was done by using SPSS software. The finding shows that example non example method in scientific approach and discovery learning model has significant effect on students' affective competence, with sig. value (0.036) < 0.05.

Based on the result of questionnaire spread in junior high school 18 Padang, it was found that teachers still have difficulties to make students active in learning process. Beside that, teachers have not implemented cooperative learning, as a requirement of the 2013 Curriculum, in teaching in the classroom. In addition, students rarely ask questions and express their opinion or ideas in learning process. It shows that students' presentation skill (asking questions and expressing opinion or ideas) is still low. Therefore, there is an alternative solution to solve the problems, which is example non example method. This method is one of cooperative learning. Through cooperative learning, students are provided a situation to present their discussion result. Furthermore, it can also support the implementation of discovery learning model and scientific approach in learning process. The discovery learning and scientific approach are recommended in the 2013 Curriculum. The purpose of the research was to know effect of example non example method in scientificapproach and discovery learning model on students' psychomotor competence in learning IPA. It was a quasi experimental research. It was done in grade VII of junior high school 18 Padang. Instrument used was observation sheet. Technique of data analysis used Mann Whitney U test. The Analysis was done by using SPSS software. The finding shows that there is effect of example non example method on students' psychomotor competence in learning IPA. From the hypothesis testing, it is known that sig. Value < 0,05 or 0,030 <0,05.

Abstract.  The type of this research is descriptive research that aims to give description about the implementation of scientific approach in the implementation of curriculum 2013 on biology learning in class X MIA1 and XI MIA1 SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene. Objects in this study are all biology teachers SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene who are teaching in class X and XI consists of 2 teachers and students of class X MIA1 and XI MIA1. Data of research result obtained by observation technique, implementation of learning conducted by researcher by using observation guidance based on scientific approach and stated valid by Validator Team of Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. The collected data will be analyzed descriptively with the following results: (1) The implementation of scientific approach for teacher activity in the learning process of biology class X MIA1  and XI MIA1 has an average percentage of 73.64% is in enough category (2) The implementation of scientific approach for student activity in the learning process of biology class X MIA1  and XI MIA1 is 70,80% is in the category enough (3) The implementation of scientific approach in SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene 72.22% is in enough category. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the level of implementation of scientific approach in the implementation of curriculum 2013 on biology learning in SMA Negeri 1 Pangkajene Pangkep Regency is in the enough category. <span>Evaluation activities of biology learning process for learners is teachers’ and education units’ responsibility. An authentic assessment is crucial to be implemented in the learning process so that learners could be guided to have abilities in knowledge as well as attitudes and skills. The research aims in 2019 is to observe 50 biology teachers’ differences in biology teachers’ skills in Bekasi Regency, Indoensia in mastering authentic assessment knowledge in biology learning before and after the implementation of training activities through a Scientific Approach-based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (Cirsa).  Cirsa, a learning developed by integrating a CIRC-based scientific approach, axpected to facilitate teacher learning in accordance with the objectives. The research is a quasi-experiment using one group pretest-posttest design. The research independent variable includes Cirsa learning model, whereas the dependent variable is concept understanding of authentic assessment. The research data are analyzed using descriptive statistics that encompasses teachers’ response on learning and analysis of average pretest and posttest. The research results indicate that there is an influence of Cirsa learning application on the concept mastery of authentic assessments of Biology teachers</span><span lang="EN-US">.</span>

AbstractThis study aims to find a model of Fikih learning based on a scientific approach in Islamic Senior High Schools. The methodology used is qualitative analysis supported by quantitative data. This type of research uses the Research & Development (R & D)  approach. The source of the data is the Fikih learning based on the scientific approach held by MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong and MAN Insan Cendekia Gorontalo. The model that has been conceptualized is experimented on in MAN 1, South Tangerang City. The design of the scientific approach emphasizes the performance and exploration of students both independently and in groups.  research results show that scientific approach based learning can encourage students to be active and creative. Students are able to produce a useful product. So it can be concluded that the application of the intended model is considered effective in achieving learning objectives through the application of flexible and conditional steps 5 M. As a recommendation, this learning model innovation based on student-centric is considered feasible to be applied at various levels of education those are equal.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan menemukan sebuah model pembelajaran Fikih berbasis pendekatan ilmiah di Madrasah Aliyah. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah analisis  kualitatif  yang didukung oleh data kuantitatif.  Jenis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Research & Development (R&D). Sumber data adalah pembelajaran Fikih berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang diselenggarakan oleh MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong dan MAN Insan Cendekia Gorontalo. Model yang telah terkonsep di eksperimenkan di MAN 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan.  Desain pendekatan ilmiah ditekankan kepada kinerja dan eksplorasi siswa baik secara mandiri maupun kelompok. Diperoleh hasil penelitian, pembelajaran berbasis pendekatan ilmiah mampu mendorong siswa bersikap aktif dan kreatif. Siswa  mamapu menghasilkan suatu produk yang bermanfaat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model  dimaksud dinilai efektif untuk  mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui penerapan langkah  5 M yang fleksibel dan kondisional.  Sebagai rekumendasi, inovasi model pembelajaran  yang berbasis student centris ini dinilai layak untuk  diterapkan di berbagai  jenjang pendidikan yang  sederajat.  How to Cite: Sapiudin. <p>This research aimed to design applicative-integrative student worksheet based on scientific approach, which was applied to the learning process by using guided inquiry learning model. The worksheet was properly assessed from three aspects. There were validity, effectivity and practicality. The approach used in this research was ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) with Embedded Mixed Methods. The stages of this research were extraction of potentials and problems, designing student worksheet, validation by experts including media, subjects, and practitioners, then testing the student worksheet. The results showed that the student worksheet was appropriate based on the analysis of the data obtained. This student worksheet was feasible to be implemented in the learning process of chemistry class, particularly reaction rate subject. The result of this research showed that validity, effectivity and practicality obtained 93.9, 83.1, and 94.3%, respectively.</p><p> </p>

<p class="AbstractEnglish"><strong>Abstract:</strong><strong> </strong>This research aimed to find out and to analyze the difference between the students receiving learning using the scientific approach with POE<sub>2</sub>WE model and those receiving PBL learning model, and to find out the model effectiveness of Physical learning in Senior High Schools. The sample of research was the students of Senior High Schools in Ciamis Regency taken randomly (using a random sampling technique). The research method employed was a comparative study conducted in several schools in Ciamis Regency becoming the model of the 2013 curriculum application in the school year of 2013/2014 in the Linear Movement Material of Tenth Grade. To collect the data, several research instruments were used: pre-test and post-test, student questionnaire, observation on the implementation of POE<sub>2</sub>WE model learning and interview to get the teachers’ response. The data were analyzed using the t-test to see the difference of normalized gain in two groups. The result of research showed that there was a significant difference the students receiving learning using a scientific approach with POE<sub>2</sub>WE model and those receiving PBL learning model. The data showed that the mean scores of pretest and posttest for the learning using POE<sub>2</sub>WE model and the one using the PBL model were 42.50 and 29.93, respectively and there was an increase in the mean class learning outcome with N-gain = 0.8 (high category) for POE<sub>2</sub>WE model and N-gain = 0.5 (medium category) for the PBL model. The effectiveness test obtained Sign value (2-tailed) (0.000) &lt; α (0.05) meaning that POE<sub>2</sub>WE model was more effective than the PBL model.</p>

This article to improve PAIdBP learning activities and learning outcomes for Class IV students of UPTD SDN 02 Simpang Kapuak for the 2020/2021 academic year by using the Discovery Learning model. This article is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in 2 cycles with 2 meetings for each cycle. The subjects in this study were grade IV students of UPTD SDN 02 Simpang Kapuak for the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 20 people. The data in this study were obtained through the use of observation sheets for teacher and student activities during the learning process and student learning outcomes at the end of each cycle. The data generated in this study were processed and analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The conclusion of the study shows that the use of the Discovery Learning model with the correct steps can increase the activity by an average of 78,78 and learning outcomes of Class IV PAIdBP students become 95% UPTD SDN 02 Simpang Kapuak Academic Year 2020/2021.
