Inquiry-based learning has been tested to improve conceptual understanding, reduce misconceptions, and provide students with experiences in scientific work. However, in its implementation, inquiry-based learning is often faced with scientific facts from the real world with data which hard to analyze using traditional methods. Therefore, a breakthrough is needed to overcome the weaknesses of inquiry-based learning by integrating digital analysis tools and the concept of real-world learning. This integration produces a new learning model, the Digital Analysis Tool-Assisted Real-World Inquiry (Digita-RI). This study aims to test the feasibility and practicality of the Digita-RI learning model. This Research and Development (R&D) use the steps proposed by Barg and Gall. The feasibility test of the Digita-RI model was carried out through the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method and the assessment of the Digita-RI model book involving seven experts. The practicality test was carried out through the Think Aloud Protocol (TAP), and the assessment of the Digita-RI model guidebook involved five practitioner lecturers and six students. The results of expert, practitioner, and user assessments were analyzed using the Aiken coefficient (Aiken’s V). The results showed that Digita-RI is a feasible and practical learning model. Therefore, it can be concluded that Digita-RI has the feasibility and practicality to be used in science learning in the classroom.

The paper analysis how the Schwartz’ theory of universal values promoted in the Real World Learning Model might be applied in educational practice. In its first part it introduces the Schwartz’ theory and its basic assumptions. In the second part it presents its critical reflection based on works of Pareto and Sorel. As they argue, the theory is too “optimistic” as it does not presuppose the ability of value of power to “mask” itself for other values. On the basis of this criticism, the paper discusses possible risks of non-reflected effort to force values of univerzalism or benevolence in education by the means of power discourse, and recommends an open self-reflection of a teacher as a prevention of such a risk.

Deep reinforcement learning (RL) has emerged as a promising approach for autonomously acquiring complex behaviors from low-level sensor observations. Although a large portion of deep RL research has focused on applications in video games and simulated control, which does not connect with the constraints of learning in real environments, deep RL has also demonstrated promise in enabling physical robots to learn complex skills in the real world. At the same time, real-world robotics provides an appealing domain for evaluating such algorithms, as it connects directly to how humans learn: as an embodied agent in the real world. Learning to perceive and move in the real world presents numerous challenges, some of which are easier to address than others, and some of which are often not considered in RL research that focuses only on simulated domains. In this review article, we present a number of case studies involving robotic deep RL. Building off of these case studies, we discuss commonly perceived challenges in deep RL and how they have been addressed in these works. We also provide an overview of other outstanding challenges, many of which are unique to the real-world robotics setting and are not often the focus of mainstream RL research. Our goal is to provide a resource both for roboticists and machine learning researchers who are interested in furthering the progress of deep RL in the real world.

Authentic assessment exercises are similar to real-world tasks that would be expected by a professional. An authentic assessment in combination with an inquiry-based learning activity enhances students' learning and rehearses them for their future roles, whether as scientists or as informed citizens. Over a period of 2 years, we experimented with two inquiry-based projects; one had traditional scientific inquiry characteristics, and the other used popular culture as the medium of inquiry. We found that activities that incorporated group learning motivated students and sharpened their abilities to apply and communicate their knowledge of science. We also discovered that incorporating popular culture provided ““Millennial”” students with a refreshing view of science learning and increased their appetites to explore and elaborate on science.

The result show, KAP plays a dominant role in supporting internship program where KAP has already started the supporting many students to learn and experiencing the real world. The curriculum has already support the need of KAP therefore, this link is possible to be expanded. Kajian ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metodologi kualitatip, dimana dalam pengolahannya melibatkan pihak KAP, PNJ, mahasiswa yang terlibat program magang yang dilakukan dalam satu fokus group discussion. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai media dan sumber sumber resmi dari kementrian pendidikan dan kebudayaan dan diolah dengan menggunakan metode compare, contras dan sintesis. Hasilnya menyimpulkan bahwa kerja sama antara KAP dan PNJ telah mempelopori implementasi kurikulum kampus merdeka dan telah memberi manfaat bagi KAP, mahasiswa dan PNJ. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran Think berbasis media I Spring suite 8 bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan metode Research and Development (R & D) dengan model 4 D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap define yaitu mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep material yang harus terkandung dalam media. Mendesain lebih lanjut model pembelajaran Think berbasis media pembelajaran I Spring suite 8. Setelah media dirancang dan dibuat maka dilakukan tahap pengembangan yaitu validasi produk oleh ahli dan uji coba produk pada proses perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas ahli materi dalam kriteria valid dengan persentase 88 persen, hasil validitas ahli media dalam kriteria valid dengan persentase media pembelajaran sebesar 89 persen. Dari uji kelayakan diperoleh hasil uji kelayakan. Disimpulkan bahwa media termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.Asbtract. This study aims to develop I Spring suite 8 learning media based Think learning model for Biology Education college students. The type of this research was Research and Development. The development of  learning media uses the Research and Development (R & D) method with the 4 D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Dessiminate). This research starts from the define stage that was identificatethe material concepts that must be contained in media. Furthermoredesign the I Spring suite 8 learning media based Think learning model. After media has been designed and created, the development stage was carried out, namely product validation by experts and product testing in the lecture process. The results showed that the validity of the material experts was in valid criteria with the percentage of 88 percent, the results of validity by media experts were in valid criteria with the percentage of learning media as much as 89percent. From the feasibility test, it was concluded that the media is included in the categoryvery good.
