Perarran Pelabuhanratu merupakan pusat penangkapan ikan yang polensial da Jawa Barat. Salah satu produk perikanan yang memilik; nilai ekonomis penting yang terdapat di perairan tersebut adalah ikan longkol (Euthynnus affirls). Kandungan klorofil-a memegang peranan penting sebagai produser primer dalam ekosistem laut dan menjadi suatu indikator dalam pendugaan daerah penangkapan ikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan hubungan antara kandungan klorofil-a dengan hasil tangkapan ikan tongkol, dan mengevaluasi daerah penangkapan tongkol di perairan Pelabuhanratu dalam periode bulan Maret-Mei 2007. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Kandungan klorofil-a bulan Maret-Mei 2007 berkisar antara 0,240-0,600 mg m-3, dengan rata-rata 0,375 mg mn. Jumlah tangkapan ikan tongkol bulan Maret 2OO7 mencapai 15.345 kg dengan produktivitas 272,27 kgl setting, butan April 2007 meningkat sampai mencapai 62.638 kg dengan produktivitas 701,04 kglsetting. Selanjutnya pada butan Mei 2007, jumlah ikan tongkol yang tertangkap hanya 8.258 kg, tetapi produktivitasnya lebih tinggi dibandingkan bulan Maret, yaitu 401,55 kglseff/ng. Komposisi tangkapan ikan tongkoi ukuran kecil pada butan Maret-Mei 2007 mencapai 73oA da ri lotal tangkapan payang 82,641 kg. Klorofil-a berpengaruh terhadap tangkapan ikan longkolsetelah 30 haridi perairan Pelabuhanratu. Dalam periode bulan Maret-April 2007, daerahpenangkapan ikan tongkol paling potensial di perairan PelabuhanraiLr terdapat pada bulan April dibandingkan dengan bulan maret dan mei 2007. Pelabuhanratu waters is the central of potential fishing activities in West Java. One of its fisheries products which has an impoftant economical value is frigate mackeret (Euthynnus affinis). Chlorophy - a hold an impoftant role as the pimary prodLtcer in sea ecosystem and become one of indicator jn fishing grcund forecasting. The purposes of this study are to detennine the correlation between chlorophyll-a concentralion and figate mackerel catches, and to evaiuate fishing ground of frigate mackerel in Pelabuhanraiu waters on March-May 2007. The methoci used in lhis research was survey method.ChlorophylLa profile in March-May 2007 ranged from 0,240 0,600 mg m 3, wi l 0,375 mg m 3 in average. The amount of frigate mackerel catches in March rcached 15 345 kg with 272,27 kg/ setting in productivity value, in Apii, the catches increased to 62.638 kg with ptoductivity about 701 .Aq kg/setting. ln May 2007. the amount of frigate mackerel catches was rcnained I258 kg. but the productivity was higher compared to productivity in March (401,55 kg/setting in CpLjE s vatLle). The composition of small frigate mackerel caught by boat seine net (payang) on March-May 2OO7 reached about 73% from 82.641 kg in totals. Chlorophyll-a concentration influenced significanlty on frigate mackerel catches after 30 days in Pelabuhanratu waters. On the period of March-May 2007, the most potential fishing ground in Pelabuhanratu waters was found in April 2007 compared to March and May 2007.

According to UNCLOS, Indonesian marine territorial covers an area equal to around 2.8 million square kilometers inner archipelagic seas. Though the Indonesian water region is very wide, the resource within it is not yet been exploited optimally. Indonesia still has problems that have to be copped with, including identification of marine fishing ground areas. This report proposes a technology to make the fish-catching be more efficient and effective with the help of MODIS satellite image in term of Surface Temperature and chlorophyll-a computation. Data conversion from digital number to Water Brightness Temperature are performed. The determination of potential fishing ground area were conducted based on temperature and chlorophyll-a parameters which serve as an indicator of upwelling and observations were carried out on parameters which show this phenomenon. Based on the result, during May 2004 the upwelling process were not happened yet, and it seems to occur in June 2004. It showes by the decreasing of water temperature in South Coast of West Java particularly between the border of West Java and Central of Java. This phenomenon acts as an indicator for the raising of primer productivity and will takes about one month after upwelling to the bloom of phytoplankton.

The fishing ground is identical and closely related to chlorophyll-a abundance in the waters, associated with its fisheries potential. This research has been conducted to determine the concentration and distribution of chlorophyll-a in the seas, especially in the Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 712 encompassing the Java Sea. The analysis used monthly time-series data collected from the satellite imagery over the last 11 years, taken through the ERDDAP website. The mean concentration of chlorophyll-a in the study area was 1.13 mg/l in June 2013. Based on 11 years of data processing, it can be concluded that the highest concentration of chlorophyll-a occurred in the west monsoon season from November to April, where increased rainfall caused the nutrient wash from terrestrial to the open waters. The lowest chlorophyll-a concentration happened in the east monsoon season from April to November, where the dry season arrived. The existence of pelagic fishes in FMA 712, such as Sardinella Lemurs and Sardinella Fimbriata, in waters highly influenced by the chlorophyll-a concentration, while Thunnus Sp. and Exocoetidae Sp. not affected significantly to the existence of chlorophyll-a concentration and its distribution.

Mackerel fish that classified pelagic fish and an export commodity in Indonesia. Distribution of mackerel fish are foundn all Indonesian waters, one of them in the Bali Strait. Distribution of mackerel fish influenced by oceanographic condition such as sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a concentration. SST and chlorophyll-a concentrations are environmental parameters that can provide information on fishing ground. The purpose of this research is explained the temporal fluctuation and relationship between SST and chlorophyll-a concentration with mackerel fish had been catch in Bali Strait waters during 2011-2016. Data were analyzed using simple correlation analysis with 95% confidence interval. Temporally, the highest average SST occurred during the transition season I (March-May) and the lowest in the east season (June-August). The highest average chlorophyll-a concentration occurs in the east season and the lowest in the west season (December-February). The highest catch of mackerel fish occurred during transitional season II (September-November) and lowest in west season. The association between SST and chlorophyll-a concentration on mackerel fish catch showed low correlation with significant relationship, whereas concentration between SST and chlorophyll-a concentration strong with significant correlation

Ciburuy Lake is the one of many natural lakes in Padalarang, West Java. Padalarang is industries area and pruduce huge waste water to contamination Ciburuy Lake. Ciburuy Lake area has many functions such as tourism, settlement, agriculture and industry. This study aim to evaluate velue of primary productivity based on chlrophyill-a. Chlorophyll-a is one of the indicator to creat management plan of water resources in Ciburuy Lake. This research was conducted from January to March 2021. Sampling carried out in 4 station with deferent water situation. This research used chlorophyll-a concentration measurment method to determine primary productivity. Result obtained in terms of water quality are: temperature  range of 24 - 28 oC; depth water range of 151,83 – 190,83 cm; Transparation range of 22,83 – 27,67 cm; pH range of 5,94 – 8,00; CO2 range of 6,98 – 33,52 mg/L; BOD range of 7,84 – 12,14 mg/L; nitrate range of 0,235 – 0,312 mg/L; fosfate range of 0,142 --0,156 mg/L, and chlorophyll-a concentration range of 0.024 - 0.065 mg/L . This research showed that Ciburuy Lake has water condition eutrophic to hypertrophic because primary productivity in Ciburuy Lake has middle to high condition based on chlorophyll-a concentration.

Potential fishing ground mapping of skipjack and frigate tuna was determined based on sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a concentration. The objectives of study were to analyze the temporal and spatial variability of SST and chlorophyll-a and it’s relationship on potential fishing ground. Chlorophyll-a concentration and SST were derived from Moderate Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensors using SeaDAS image processing software. Catch data of skipjack and frigate tuna collected from Lampulo fishing base, Banda Aceh from January 2006 until November 2007. Linier regression was used to analysis relationship between catch perunit effort (CPUE) of fish and oceanographic parameters. The analysis of SST and chlorophyll-a concentration showed the temporal and spatial variations in northern part of Aceh seawaters. Perikanan Tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) di Perairan Selat Bali  berkembang pesat sejak diperkenalkannya alat tangkap  Purse seine, hal tersebut menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya jumlah armada kapal penangkap ikan. Meskipun upaya penangkapan meningkat, akan tetapi hasil tangkapan yang didapatkan menurun. Untuk tujuan tersebut diperlukan kajian yang mendalam tentang pola sebaran suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a, agar ke depan dapat diketahui daerah penangkapan ikan Tongkol. Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan nilai persebaran SPL dan klorofil-a yang secara nyata di lapangan dengan data hasil interpretasi citra satelit Suomi NPP VIIRS, serta mengetahui hubungan distribusi SPL dan klorofil-a terhadap hasil tangkapan ikan Tongkol (Euthynnus affinis). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah, tingkat akurasi citra satelit Suomi NPP VIIRS pada variabel suhu permukaan laut mencapai 98,98%, sementara untuk tingkat akurasi terhadap konsentrasi klorofil-a mencapai 95,63%. Hubungan suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a terhadap CPUE yaitu menunjukan pengaruh yang cukup kuat dengan nilai sebesar 0,585. Nilai r2 menunjukan nilai sebesar 34,3%, yang berarti bahwa sebesar 34,3% CPUE dipengaruhi oleh suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a, sedangkan 65,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain Eastern Little Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) in the Waters of Bali Strait has been growing rapidly since the introduction of purse seine fishing gear, this has led to an increasing number of fishing vessels. Although the fishing effort increases, the catch obtained decreases. For this purpose an in depth study of the distribution patterns of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a is needed, so that in the future it can be known the fishing ground to assist in the effective and efficient utilization of fish resources. This study examines the differences in the value of the distribution of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a that are evident in the field with data from interpretation of Somi NPP VIIRS satellite images, and knowing the relationship between the distribution of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a to the Eastern Little Tuna catches. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The results obtained in this study are, the accuracy of the Suomi NPP VIIRS satellite image on the variable sea surface temperature reaches 98.98%, while the level of accuracy of the chlorophyll-a concentration reached 95.63%, the relationship between sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a on CPUE is a fairly strong correlation, with a correlation value of 0,585. The value of r2 means that 34.3% CPUE is influenced by sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a, while 65.7% is influenced by other factors..

<p class="ColorfulList-Accent11CxSpFirst"><em>Perairan selatan Aru merupakan daerah penangkapan  ikan yang potensial dengan sumberdaya ikannya yang berlimpah. Kapal-kapal ikan melakukan penangkapan ikan dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi kesuburan perairan yaitu fenomena upwelling melalui parameter suhu permukaan laut dan kelimpahan konsentrasi klorofil-a. Penggunaan citra MODIS secara periodik dapat menggambarkan waktu dan lokasi upwelling. Variabilitas suhu permukaan laut dan konsentrasi klorofil-a di lintang 7 LS dan 7.5 LS, bujur 133.1 – 136 BT menunjukkan fenomena upwelling pada musim Timur dimana suhu permukaan laut menurun hingga 24 <sup>o</sup>C sedangkan konsentrasi klorofil-a rata-rata meningkat hingga 3.61 mg/m<sup>3</sup>. Fenomena downwelling terjadi di musim Barat dimana suhu permukaan laut di lintang yang sama menjadi hangat berkisar 30<sup> o</sup>C dengan konsentrasi rata-rata klorofil-a &lt;1 mg/m<sup>3</sup>. Jumlah kapal ikan yang beroperasi di daerah penangkapan diketahui dengan menggunakan citra Radarsat-2 dan data VMS yang disesuaikan dengan waktu pengambilan citra di setiap bulannya dengan lokasi yang sama. Analisis spasial dan temporal dilakukan untuk mengetahui sebaran kapal ikan pada musim timur saat kesuburan perairan tinggi dimana konsentrasi klorofil-a di titik penangkapan mencapai 5.01 mg/m<sup>3</sup> dan jumlah kapal ikan yang beroperasi &gt;150 unit/hari. Fishing boats catch fish by considering the condition of the waters productivity such as upwelling phenomenon through the parameters of sea surface temperatures and an abundance of chlorophyll-a concentration. The use of MODIS imagery can periodically describe the timing and location of upwelling. Variability of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a concentration in latitude 7 LS and 7.5 LS, longitude 133.1 - 136 BT showed the phenomenon of upwelling in the east season where sea surface temperature decreased from 30° C to 24° C while the chlorophyll-a concentration increased by an average of 0,3 mg/m<sup>3</sup> to 3.61 mg/m<sup>3</sup>. Downwelling phenomenon took place in the west season where the sea surface temperature in the same latitude range 30° C to be warm with an average concentration of chlorophyll-a &lt;1 mg/m<sup>3</sup>. The number of fishing vessels operating in the fishing area known using RADARSAT-2 imagery and data VMS were later adapted to capture images of each month at the same location. Based on the spatial and temporal analysis was conducted to determine the distribution of fishing vessels in the eastern summer time high waters productivity where the concentration of chlorophyll-a at the point reached 5:01 mg m<sup>3</sup>, the number of fishing vessels in operation increased to 150 units/ ay. While in the West season low waters productivity where the concentration of chlorophyll-a at the point of &lt;1 mg/m<sup>3</sup> and the number of ships in operation decreased to below 40 units/day.
