The object of research is the technological process of increasing the service life of pointed cultivator shares of tillage machines through the use of a progressive method of vibration hardening. One of the most problematic areas is the inadequate study of the investigated technological process of restoring the working bodies of agricultural machines. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the process of vibration processing of the material of these machine parts during their restoration, it is necessary to conduct further experimental studies. In the course of the study, it has been found that the use of vibration deformation of the surface layer of the material of parts contributes to an increase in their resource. The optimal parameters of vibration hardening of the cutting elements of the cultivator shares of tillage machines have been determined, which makes it possible to increase their durability. The main parameters of vibration hardening are revealed: the vibration amplitude of the processing tool is 0.75 mm; vibration frequency – 1400 min–1; hardening time – 30 s. As a research result, the assessment of the change in linear wear along the width of the cutting element of the cultivator duckfoot of tillage machines was carried out. In cultivators with tines restored by welding angle plates made of 45 steel (GOST 1050-2013, GB 699-88), sormite surfacing and vibration hardening, the linear wear rate by weight of cutting elements is 35–43 % less than in new tines. A study of changes in the wear of the cutting edge of cultivator shares was carried out, which, when restored by welding corner plates made of steel 45 (GOST 1050-2013, GB 699-88), surfacing with sormite and vibration hardening, is 1.57–1.68 times less than in new shares. In comparison with existing technologies, the developed technology provides a reduction in the wear of cutting elements by 10–17 %, in comparison with new ones made of 65G steel (GOST 14959-2016, GB 1222). The coefficient of technical utilization of the cultivator with tines restored according to the developed technology, in comparison with the new ones, is 1.07 times higher.

In the article researched the requirements for machines with disk working parts which are using today. According to the results of the research, it has been proved that some indicators have lost their relevance and are not necessary in modern conditions, because they are replaced by electronic control systems. In the materials of the article indicators of work of machine units in field conditions at cultivation of soil by disk working bodies in different farms of Sumy region are given. Machines of domestic production are researched: T-150+UDA-2,4, HTZ 17221+UDA-3,1, HTZ 17221+UDA-3,8. During the study of the performance of machine units in the performance of disking used different techniques and instruments that maximize the accuracy of research. The aim was to explore the existing and alternative ways of regulating the depth of cultivation by machines with disk working parts. Thus, we conducted research and obtained results on adjusting the depth of the speed of the disk, changing the angle of attack of the working batteries. The analysis of the experimental data has made it possible to determine the optimal parameters of the speed of movement of the tillage unit and the angles of attack at which it is possible to perform the technological process of disc tillage from the performance indicators that will meet the agro-requirements.

Theoretical calculations and experimental studies show that during the technological process of transporting seeds by technical means, in particular ladle conveyors, macro- and especially microtrauma of grains occurs, which affects a decrease in quality indicators. Analysis of the studies shows that the structural parameters of the working bodies, the biological and physico-mechanical properties of the kernels, as well as the material for the manufacture or coating of the working elements, affect the trauma and quality of the seeds. Experimental data showed that microtrauma of winter wheat grains before transportation was in the range of 22,9- 23,5%, and after completion of the transportation process was 45,3-46,4%, that is, doubled. Further studies to improve the quality of seeds of grain crops, reduce the harmful effects of microorganisms on caryopsis and reduce macro- and microtrauma should be carried out in the relationship and the complex of biological and physico-mechanical features of the entire technological process.

The paper deals with the use of vibration vibrations in the restoration of the working bodies of agricultural tillage machines operating under conditions of increased abrasive wear. The analysis of the existing methods of their restoration is carried out, the substantiation of the use of vibration hardening treatment in repair production is given. The research carried out on the choice of the optimal parameters of vibration strengthening of the cutting working bodies contributes to an increase in the wear resistance and reliability of soil cultivation equipment. According to the research results, the change in hardness along the depth of the surface layer of cutting elements of the following agricultural tillage machines: plow shares, opener discs of grain seeders and cultivator paws was established. Optimal values of the main parameters of vibration processing of cutting elements of the specified working bodies are experimentally determined and substantiated, which reduce the amount of their wear: amplitude A and vibration frequency of the processing tool n, hardening time t. The change in the magnitude of linear wear along the width of the cutting elements of these parts is shown, as well as data on the intensity of their wear. Experimentally obtained data on the absolute and relative wear of the diameter and thickness of the blade of the opener discs, which made it possible to choose a more efficient technology for their restoration. According to the research results, it was found that the specified parts of soil cultivation equipment had the least wear value; they were restored by welding tires, plates or segments from steel 45, followed by surfacing with sormite and strengthened by vibration deformation. The results of the work will be used to develop technological processes for the restoration of other working bodies of tillage machines by the method of vibration deformation. The article is devoted to the actual problem of assigning optimal parameters for connecting steel plates on cover plates with angular welds that are widely used in construction practice. The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of operation of a welded assembly of the plates connection on cover plates. An algorithm is proposed for determining the optimal parameters of a welded joint with fillet welds on the cover plates, which makes it possible to obtain a strength balanced connection. The results of full-scale tensile tests of models were presented. These results confirmed the correctness of the assumed design assumptions, and made it possible to obtain a form of destruction, not characteristic and not described in the normative literature, expressed by cutting the main elements along the length of the overlap in the joint. The possibility of such a form of destruction was confirmed by the results of numerical research in a nonlinear formulation. The optimal parameters of the nodal welded joint determined by engineering calculation are confirmed by experimental studies, as well as by the results of numerical experiments on models of calculation schemes, taking into account the physical nonlinearity of the material operation. The obtained dependence for determining the bearing capacity of the joint by the cut-off mechanism and the expression for limiting the overlap length of the cover plates will make it possible to predict the nature of the fracture and design equally strong joints.

In this paper we consider the structural and technological process of the combine used in the process of separate harvesting of grain crops, as well as a number of its parameters. Among the main units of the combine, we allocate a conveyor and devices for removing beveled stems from under the wheels of the vehicle. The principle of operation of the conveyor at different phases of the Reaper and especially the removal of cut stems from under the wheels of the vehicle during operation of the Reaper. The results of theoretical studies on the establishment of the optimal design of the parameters of the belt conveyor are presented, the ranges of their optimal values are considered and determined. Studies on the establishment of optimal parameters of the screw divider in the Reaper, which is the main component of the device for removal of beveled stems, are presented. Taking into account the optimal design and mode of operation of the screw divider, the correct work is provided to remove the cut stems from under the wheels of the harvester.

Modern machines are subject to progressive wear that occurs at different rates, which leads to unpredictable failures that reduce the reliability and durability of machines. The strategy of maintenance and repair is aimed at eliminating these problems. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the basic principles of the strategy of maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery in order to ensure control of the technical condition of machine parts. (Materials and methods) When resource diagnostics is used, , the allowable value of the parameter is set in advance for a part . This value is the tolerance that corresponds to a certain wear rate of the part. The tolerance is set based on the condition that if the current value of the controlled resource parameter during the next diagnosis is less than the set value, then such a part at the current value of the wear rate can be finalized until the next inter-control check. Taking into account the wear rate of the same type of parts from the group when determining the allowable wear during their resource diagnostics becomes an urgent task. (Results and discussions) As a result of research, the article presents "Methodology for determining the main indicators of reliability of parts of agricultural machines with different wear rates" and "Methodology for determining the tolerance system of parts of agricultural machines with different wear rates". (Conclusions) The article presents the tolerance system that reduces the probability of failure of machine parts in operation. During resource diagnostics, those parts whose resource parameters exceed the tolerance are rejected.

The article contains the analysis of thermoplastics used in prototyping machine parts. We used several types of experimental samples with different filling percentages. The equipment on which the experimental studies were carried out is shown. During the experiment, a specialized tensile testing machine was used. The experimental samples were installed in the developed centering device. Normal conditions were observed during the tests. The results of an experimental tensile study of PLA-plastic specimens are presented. The typical stress-strain diagram of an experimental sample is described, which describes the dependence of stress on relative deformation. An equation of the linear dependence of the tensile strength on the percentage of filament filling has been compiled, which makes it possible to determine the tensile strength of the product at any percentage of the filling of the plastic filament. The assessment is adequately verified by Fisher's criterion. Recommendations for filament filling in prototyping machine parts are given.

The paper presents the results of numerical experimental studies of cutting titanium blanks using mathematical modeling programs, which make it possible to completely repeat technological processes in a computer (digital twin). The LS-DYNA product was used as a program to simulate the process of stock removal from titanium blank. It has been established that the use of this method adequately describes the cutting processes, including with the introduction of the energy of an ultrasonic field into the processing zone, can significantly reduce the duration of experimental research and evaluate the influence of the elements of the cutting mode and design parameters of the tool on the thermal power aspects of the formation of new surfaces of machine parts.

Nitrogen oxides are considered to be much more toxic than, for example, carbon monoxide. For this reason, the Authors developed and implemented a method for decrease of NOX emission into the atmosphere from DKVR 10-13 boilers. As an effective method for boilers propose injection of steam into the combustion zone. After series of experimental studies an optimal design of the head for steam injection was developed, according to the proprietary technology. The injector head was kept unchanged while the spraying end caps were modified (Fig. 2). Three levels of possible impact of emissions from boiler on the atmosphere pollution were taken into account during studies. After the analysis, it was assumed that the level of the real maximum emission should be taken as the reference level in relation to which the decrease of NOX emission should be determined. The results obtained by the Authors calculated into mass emission and as objective values of nitrogen oxides concentration calculated into α = 1 (Figures 3 and 4). Realization of the study plan, assumed by the Authors, allowed to determine the optimal parameters of the NOx emission decrease method, assuming the expected 30% level of emission decrease at a limited consumption of injected.
