Entrepreneurial intention models are widely accepted in university contexts in developed countries; however, more robust studies in emerging economies are needed. With the aim of filling this gap, this work analyzes the influence of subjective norms, behavioral beliefs, attitudes, and entrepreneurial behavior on the entrepreneurial intention of college students. Structural equation modeling was implemented by means of a self-administered questionnaire that was answered by 636 undergraduate engineering students in Medellín, Colombia. According to the findings, both attitude and entrepreneurial behavior have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Nevertheless, no evidence was found to confirm that subjective norms affected entrepreneurial intention, i.e., that other people’s opinions were important to individuals when they decided to start a new venture. By investigating the entrepreneurial intention of college students, better strategies can be adopted to promote venture creation among this population group, focusing efforts on the variables that presented the strongest relationships in the model proposed in this study.

The main purpose of this study was to test the fit of model of the relationships among students’ satisfaction with the library, familial reading environments and whose reading attitudes. Further, it tried to find out whether the familial reading environments and satisfaction with the library affect the students’ reading attitudes, and then explored the direct, indirect and total effects between the students’ satisfaction with the library, familial reading environments, and reading attitudes. The participants of this study included 714 high school students (356 male, 358 female), and the findings suggested that (1) the theoretical model of students’ satisfactions with the library, familial reading environments, and reading attitudes using Structural Equation Modeling was supported; (2) students’ satisfactions with the library were in connection with their familial reading environments; (3) students’ satisfactions of library and familial reading environments had a significantly positive effect on students’ reading attitudes.

.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impacts of higher education service quality towards student satisfaction and Loyalty, and student satisfaction towards university image and student loyalty. The data was gathered using questionnaires and was collected from 120 respondents who study at Trisakti University. The data was using cross-sectional and the sampling method was using purposive sampling. This research were using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as analysis method. The finding shows that academic aspects, non-academic aspects and reputation influenced students satisfaction while program issues and access did not have impact on students satisfaction. The other results proved that students satisfaction influence University image but surprisingly students satisfaction and University image did not have impact on students loyalty. Very important for Trisakti University to improve their image because this is one strong factor in building students satisfaction, while they have to develop customer relationship management with their students and alumni to strengthen their students loyalty. To understand more student satisfaction, it advised to examine the price fairness as one possible factor in building students satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract Background: Education institutions promptly implemented a set of steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among international Chinese students, such as restrictive physical exercise, mask wear, daily health reporting, etc. Success of such behavioral change campaigns largely depends on awareness building, satisfaction and trust on the authorities. The purpose of this current study is to assess the preventive, supportive and awareness-building steps taken during the COVID-19 pandemic for international students in China, that will be useful for planning such a behavioral change campaign in the potential pandemic situation in other parts of the world. Methods: We conducted an online-based e-questionnaire survey among 467 international students in China through WeChat. The data collection duration was from February 20, 2020 to March 10, 2020 and we focused on their level of awareness, satisfaction, and trust in authorities regarding pandemic measures. Simple bivariate statistics was used to describe the background characteristics of the respondents along with adoption of the partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) as the final model to demonstrate the relationship between the variables. Results: In our study, the leading group of the respondents were within 31 to 35 years’ age group (39.82%), male (61.88%), living single (58.24%) and doctoral level students (39.8%). The preventive and supportive measures taken by students and/or provided by the respective institution or authorities were positively related to students’ satisfaction and had an acceptable strength (β = 0.611, t = 9.679, p < 0.001). The trust gained in authorities also showed an acceptable strength (β = 0.381, t = 5.653, p < 0.001) with a positive direction. Again, the personnel awareness building related to both students’ satisfaction (β = 0.295, t = 2.719, p < 0.001) and trust gain (β = 0.131, t = 1.986, p < 0.05) in authorities had a positive and acceptable intensity. Therefore, our study clearly demonstrates the great impact of preventive and supportive measures in the development of students’ satisfaction (R2 = 0.507 indicating moderate relationship). The satisfied students possessed a strong influence which eventually helped in building sufficient trust on their institutions (R2 = 0.797 indicating above substantial relationship). Conclusions: The worldwide student group is one of the most affected and vulnerable communities in this situation. So, there is a profound ground of research on how different states or authorities handle such situation. In this study, we have depicted the types and magnitude of care taken by Chinese government and educational institutions towards international students to relieve the panic of pandemic situation. Further research and such initiatives should be taken in to consideration for future emerging conditions.

In higher education learning, e-learning systems have become renowned tools worldwide. The evident importance of e-learning in higher education has resulted in a prenominal increase in the number of e-learning systems delivering various forms of services, especially when traditional education (face-to-face) was suddenly forced to move online due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Accordingly, assessing e-learning systems is pivotal in the interest of effective use and successful implementation. By relying on the related literature review, an extensive model is developed by integrating the information system success model (ISSM) and the technology acceptance model (TAM) to illustrate key factors that influence the success of e-learning systems. Based on the proposed model, theory-based hypotheses are tested through structural equation modeling employing empirical data gathered through a survey questionnaire of 537 students from three private universities in Jordan. The findings demonstrate that quality factors, including instructor, technical system, support service, educational systems, and course content quality, have a direct positive influence on students’ satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and system use. Moreover, self-regulated learning negatively affects students’ satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and system use. Students’ satisfaction, perceived usefulness, and system use are key predictors of their academic performance. These findings provide e-learning stakeholders with important implications that guarantee the effective, successful use of e-learning that positively affects students’ learning.
