This article reviews the scope of several Observatories found by a search in the Internet through the Google search engine. After examining these observatories, it describes the aims and initial accomplishments of the Observatory of the Americas as a network of professionals and activists from different countries in the Americas. The article concludes with a discussion of the pattern identified among these observatories: they may be clearinghouses or networks, or both.

AbstractIn this paper the language about Millennial Generation Information Search Behavior To Meet Information Needs. This study aims to describe the information seeking behavior of the millennial generation to meet the information needs of this study at the Padang State University. Data were collected through observation and distribution of questionnaires with students of the Indonesian and Regional Languages and Literature Department at Padang State University. Analyzing the data, concluded the following matters. (1). Starting - consists of activities that initiate information seeking activities. In general (100%) determine the topic especially before conducting an information search, in general (90%) conduct information search after discussion or consultation with lecturers, in general (95.23%) know the information needs when attending lectures, (88.4 %) know the information needs specifically, and in general (88%) do information when they are aware of and know the need for information. (2). Chaining - activities following a series of citations, citations or forms of reconciliation between documents with each other. In general (92.8 uses a bibliography to search information, generally (90.4%) use the author's name from the core reference to look for other references in conducting information searches, and in general (92.9%) use subjects from core reference to look for other references (3) Browsing - merawak, looking for, but rather directed, in areas that are considered to have the potential for the information needed.In general (73%) libraries can always meet information needs, in general In general (95.2%) look for information on the internet if the information you are looking for is not found in the printed source of information, (92.8%) generally directly looking for information on the internet if the information you need is not found in the printed source of information, at generally (45.22%) query identification (keywords). (4). Differentiating - sorting, using the features in the information source as a basic reference for checking quality or information content. in general (88%) the internet is the main source of information, in general (92.84%) The source of information printed is still very much needed in fulfilling information needs. (5). Monitoring - monitoring progress by focusing on selected sources. In general (88.09%) looked for the latest information through the internet by searching for the latest articles, in general (78.56%) needed to find the latest information to enrich the reference sources. (6). Extracting - systematically digging in one source to retrieve information that is considered important. In general (90.47 when you need information you often search the search engine (google, yahoo), in general (88.09 often uses a journal database to get information, in general (78.56%) after getting information on the internet , you directly copy the information, in general (76.19%) use the "Google" search engine because it is more relevant than other search engines.Keywords: behavior, millennial generation and information.

Thanks to the existence of Search engines, all of informations and datas could be easily found in the internet, one of the search engine that users use the most is Google. Google still be the most popular search engine to provide any informations available on the internet. The search result that Google provide, doesn't always give the result we wanted. Google just displayed the results based on the keyword we type. So sometimes, they show us the negative contents on the internet, such as pornography, pornsites, and many more that seems to be related to the keyword, whether the title or the other that makes the result going that way. In this paper, we will implement the "DNS SEHAT" to pass along client's request queries so the Google search engine on the client's side will provide more relevant search results without any negative contents.

BACKGROUND Increasingly people seek health information from the Internet, in particular, health information on diseases that require intensive self-management, such as diabetes. However, the Internet is largely unregulated and the quality of online health information may not be credible. OBJECTIVE To assess the quality of online information on diabetes identified from the Internet. METHODS We used the single term “diabetes” or equivalent Chinese characters to search Google and Baidu respectively. The first 50 websites retrieved from each of the two search engines were screened for eligibility using pre-determined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Included websites were assessed on four domains: accessibility, content coverage, validity and readability. RESULTS We included 26 websites from Google search engine and 34 from Baidu search engine. There were significant differences in website provider (P<0.0001), but not in targeted population (P=0.832) and publication types (P=0.378), between the two search engines. The website accessibility was not statistically significantly different between the two search engines, although there were significant differences in items regarding website content coverage. There was no statistically significant difference in website validity between the Google and Baidu search engines (mean Discern score 3.3 vs 2.9, p=0.156). The results to appraise readability for English website showed that that Flesch Reading Ease scores ranged from 23.1 to 73.0 and the mean score of Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level ranged range from 5.7 to 19.6. CONCLUSIONS The content coverage of the health information for patients with diabetes in English search engine tended to be more comprehensive than that from Chinese search engine. There was a lack of websites provided by health organisations in China. The quality of online health information for people with diabetes needs to be improved to bridge the knowledge gap between website service and public demand.

Website salah satu teknologi internet tidak hanya sebagai media informasi tetapi menjadi proses pendukung bisnis perusahaan, akan tetapi penjualan melalui website belum cukup efektif jika tidak didukung dengan strategi promosi yang baik. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) adalah salah satu teknik promosi dengan cara memanfaatkan pengoptimalan mesin pencari agar website yang sudah kita buat berada diperingkat teratas atau halaman pertama (first page) sebuah halaman mesin pencari. Peneltian ini dilakukan pada sebuah website yang awalnya belum dilakukan teknik-teknik dari SEO, kemudian dengan menerapkan metode SEO on Page seperti optimasi keyword pada title tag, content, meta keyword,meta description, dan  share ke sosial media, pada tahap ini juga dilakukan beberapa pengujian sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan penerapan teknik-teknik SEO. The purpose of this research is how to optimize a web design that can increase the number of visitors. The number of Internet users in the world continues to grow in line with advances in information technology. Products and services marketing media do not just use the printed and electronic media. Moreover, the cost of using the Internet as a medium of marketing is relatively inexpensive when compared to the use of television as a marketing medium. The penetration of the internet as a marketing medium lasted for 24 hours in different parts of the world. But to make an internet site into a site that is visited by many internet users, the site is not only good from the outside view only. Web sites that serve as a medium for marketing must be built with the correct rules, so that the Web site be optimal marketing media. One of the good rules in building the internet site as a marketing medium is how the content of such web sites indexed well in search engines like google. Search engine optimization in the index will be focused on the search engine Google for 83% of internet users across the world using Google as a search engine. Search engine optimization commonly known as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is an important rule that the internet site is easier to find a user with the desired keywords.

In the course we are familiar with the Internet network facilities. Of course also familiar with the Google search engine. But we rarely use the other facilities there, which turned out to be very helpful in learning activities. Company Google intelligently integrates most of the processing functions of administrative data in applications, such as mail, drive, document, spreadsheet, slide and form. Such products can we maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of lectures.  Pada perkuliahan kita sudah familiar dengan fasilitas jaringan internet. Sudah tentu juga familiar dengan mesin pencari google. Tetapi kita jarang menggunakan fasilitas-fasilitas lainnya yang ada, yang ternyata sangat membantu dalam kegiatan perkuliahan. Perusahaan Google dengan cerdas mengintegrasikan sebagian besar fungsi-fungsi pengolahan data administratif dalam aplikasinya, seperti mail, drive, document, spreadsheet, slide dan form. Produk-produk tersebut dapat kita maksimalkan untuk efisiensi dan efektifitas perkuliahan.

This study aims to examine the profile of tempe making business at CV Cipta Panca Persada. The business profile is limited to obtaine of the amount of profits. This research was conducted for 3 monthsstarting from May to July 2018. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from direct interviews with business owners (one respodent) using a list of questions that have been provided. While secondary data is obtained from the Agriculture Faculty library, the internet by using a google search engine to access articles from various scientific journals and theses from other universities related to this research topic concerning business profile. The results showed that the amount of tempe produced in one day was 50 packs of small packs at a price of Rp. 3,500 per package and 200 medium packages at Rp. 6,500 per package. The production process is one month (31 days) in July 2018, obtaining a total revenue of Rp. 39,000,000 with a total cost of Rp. 16,775,714,resulting in a profit of Rp. 22,224,286. -*eprm*

The strategic location of the island of Bali which is surrounded by sea has a great potential for people in Bali to establish a diving company. Some diving companies in Bali have made various strategies to compete offering diving tour packages. Marketing through the internet is the best way that most diving companies in Bali have recently taken. However, to be able to compete with other similar companies on the internet, the website must be easily accessible to internet users, i.e. by appearing on the first page of the Google search engine. SEO or search engine optimization is an internet marketing strategy that serves to increase website visibility by targeting certain keywords. The use of SEO can have a positive impact on increasing online sales, increasing website visibility and brand awareness on the internet. This study aims to analyze the extent to which SEO techniques have a positive impact on the marketing of diving tourism in Bali through the internet, using quantitative descriptive methods. The research was conducted in three selected companies, namely Bali Diving, Atlantis Dune, and Scuba Adventure. The results of the study showed that diving companies in Bali have obtained all the positive impacts of SEO. These impacts were increasing website visibility, brand awareness, and sales. It is normal for any organization to have an online attendance on the Internet. With the continued rise of the internet and the growing importance of websites, it has become increasingly difficult for websites trying to reach potential customers/visitors to achieve visibility. Around 4 million new websites appear online every month in Google search engine platform. As a result of this astonishing rise, it has become more difficult for websites to remain visible among the competing sites without using the optimal available search engine tools. In this study, there is one case study from the United Kingdom that was selected to explore this subject. The research considered how University of Dundee could implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and paid listings such as Pay Per Click (PPC) to their website. The recommendations of this research can be used to guide the marketers how to improve the visibility of their website to the related target audience. In turn allowing marketers to more accurately determine their choice of an optimal search engine marketing strategy.
