The study aimed to measure Student Anxiety Levels in the Music Performance Anxiety Scale (MPAS) for high school (SMA) students with musical interests in Padang City, and to conduct studies on validity and reliability. In this case, the scale will be developed for use for middle school students (adolescents), and differences between the sexes will be examined. The research was conducted on 546 high school students. Of these students, 185 (33.9%) is male, 361 (66.1%) is female, and the average age is 16.81 with an age range of 15 to 20. The correlation value of scaled items between them and with the total items is checked as a preliminary analysis. As a result of the engineering of the EFA's main components, promax rotation techniques and their analysis, three-factor construction accounted for a total of 42.74% of the total variants achieved. The achieved structure is validated by the CFA, and a match index is found in the acceptance interval. In reliability studies, Alpha Cronbach's internal consistency coefficient was calculated as 0.86 for the entire scale, 27% for bottom-up group comparisons and re-test analysis conducted. T-tests were conducted to determine the difference between the sexes. As a result of the study, a valid and reliable visible scale has been developed and the differences between the sexes are clearly visible. Keywords: gender; high school students; anxiety of musical performances

It was aimed in this study to reveal and compare strategies of students of three types of high schools to cope with stress through leisure time. The research population consisted of high school students in Konya province, Turkey. The sample consisted of 280 male and 224 female vocational high school, Anatolian  high school and sports high school students. In the study, the Demographic Personal Information Form was used to collect personal information. The “Strategies to Cope with Stress through Leisure Time Scale” (SCSLTS) was used to identify the leisure time strategies. This scale was developed by Iwasaki and Mannell (2000). It was translated into Turkish, and its validity and reliability studies were conducted by Çevik, Özcan and Munusturlar (2018). No difference was found in the strategies of the students to cope with stress through leisure time according to the grade level, income, and maternal and paternal educational level factors. Statistical variations were observed based on the gender and sporting factors (p<.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the mood enhancement dimension depending on the school type factor. However, it was found that the mean scores of the vocational high school students in terms of the dimensions of leisure time friendship and temporary coping ability were higher than those of the students of the other schools, and these differences were also statistically significant (p<.05). The vocational high school students had higher mean scores in the leisure time strategies sub-dimension than the students of other schools. Accordingly, it can be said that the leisure time strategy scores may differ according to the school type and that the students receiving vocational education were more optimistic in determining leisure time strategies than the students of Anatolian high school and sports high school.

IntroductionThe present study has focused on the impact of training cognitive-behavioral strategies in reducing test anxiety among second-grade high school male math students.ObjectivesThis study has attempted to test the hypothesis that training cognitive-behavioral strategies can help a reduction on test anxiety among anxious students.MethodsThe subjects were 72 second-grade high school students who had obtained high scores on the test anxiety scale(sarason,1978) participants were selected by a multi-stage cluster sampling method from three high schools at Tehran after administering the self-report test anxiety scale as pre-test, the subjects were then divided into two groups of control and experimental with 36 students in each groupdid not receive any treatment then, both groups were asked to complete the test anxiety scale as post-test.ResultsAnalysis of variance (anova) with repeated measures was performed to analyze the data. the results revealed that there was a significant difference between the two groups and this difference was two the advantage of experimental group showing a significant reduction in test anxiety.ConclusionsThe results showed that training cognitive-behavioral strategies can reduce test anxiety.

The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure the motivation of high school students to participate in physical activity. In the study, the relevant literature was searched and focus group interview was made with three different groups composed of 8 high school students, and an item pool with 55-item was created considering the opinions of experts. After the expert opinions were received, necessary corrections were made on the test form and applied to 308 high school students attending Ödemiş Anatolian High School and Ödemiş Ticaret Odası Anatolian High School in Ödemiş, İzmir in 2016-2017 academic year. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, the form, which is formed by 16 items and 3 sub-dimensions, accounts for 54.69% of the total variance. In the result of the CFA, the values of fit indices were examined and it was seen that the 3 factorial structure of the scale consisting of 16 items was confirmed as a model. The scale was found to be reliable according to Cronbach's Alfa internal consistency tested to determine the reliability of the scale and the Spearman Brown two-tailed reliability coefficient values. As a result, it was concluded that the "Motivation Scale For Participation In Physical Activity (MSPPA)" is valid and reliable.Extended English summary is in the end of Full Text PDF (TURKISH) file.

The purpose of this research was to develop an instrument that can be used to measure higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in mathematics instructional of high school students. This research was conducted using a standard procedure of instrument development, from the development of conceptual definition, development of operational definitions, determination constructs, dimensions, and indicators, to the preparation of blue print, item preparation, expert validation, and testing. Data results from trials be analyzed using factor analysis and analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM). The data analysis shows that there are 9 factors HOTS that construct the instrument with good validity and reliability. This instrument classifies high school students in the five categories of HOTS ability. HOTS grouping results can be used by various interested institutions to evaluate the instructional of mathematics. These evaluations are used to determine the success of student learning and the success of teachers' teaching.

The purpose of this study is to test the validity and reliability of social support construction using SEM. The subjects of this study were 83 private high school students in Beringin Regency. The scale of this study uses a social support scale created by researchers developed from Smet (2004). The scale is arranged in the form of a Likert scale based on its aspects, totaling 24 statements with 4 answer choices. The scale was analyzed using SEM AMOS software version 24. The results of social studies provided to students helped improve the success of completing school
