The study purpose. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the pedagogical competence ofPhysical Education, Health and Recreation students of the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University, batch 2016. Materials and methods. This research method is a survey with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population is 180 physical education students, the sample selection is 52 physical education students using incidental sampling technique. The research instrument is a valid and reliable questionnaire. The data analysis technique is the analysis presented using the percentage. Results. The results obtained show that the level of understanding of the pedagogic competence of Physical Education, Health and Recreation students of the Faculty of Sports Science, Yogyakarta State University, class 2016 was “very low” 3.85% (2 students), “low” 67.31% (35 students), “medium” 19.23% (10 students), “high” 9.62% (5 students) and “very high” 0% (0 students). Conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the level of understanding of the pedagogic competence of Physical Education students is in the low category.

The purpose of this study was to see the level of student confidence in micro teaching learning for students of Physical Education Health and Recreation, Univeritas Islam Riau. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population in this study were all students of Physical Education for Health and Recreation Semester VI of the 2019/2020 Academic Year who had completed the micro teaching course which received 211 people. The research sampling technique used total sampling. The research was conducted by applying a questionnaire to students. Based on the results of the research analysis, the findings obtained were 34.59% of self-competence results in the "sufficient" category and 35.07% of micro teaching skills in the "sufficient" category. This proves that Health and Recreation Physical Education students must be able to hone their ability to practice speaking skills so that they can become more competent prospective teachers in their fields.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the attitudes of self-oriented heterosexual students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science towards male and female homosexuality, in combination with the level of religiosity they display. The religiosity factor was evaluated based on the frequency of visits paid to temples to perform religious duties. Concerning their attitudes, the scale used was the Greek version of Attitudes Towards Lesbians and Gay Men (ATLG) with two factors, for male and female homosexuality respectively. The sample consisted of 552 self-oriented heterosexual students. The independent variables used were related to gender, age, and religiosity. From the analysis of the results, it was found that the factor of religiosity has a decisive influence on the formation of heterosexual students' attitudes towards both male and female homosexuality. It is further suggested to investigate the factor in combination with other variables.

Many physical education students complain that online lectures are unsatisfactory because they do not practice directly (only theory). Students feel not really/do not understand the material presented because study with offline and online is different, and lecture assignments are piling up so that causing physical education students to become boredom and stressed. This study aims to determine the level stress of college students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Quantitative descriptive is the method used in this research, with a total sample of 168 student used accidental sampling techniques. Measurement the level of stress using The Kessler Psychological Distresss Scale (K10) which is distributed via Google form. Data analysis used is quantitative description analysis techniques with percentages. The results showed that the stress level of physical education students was in the heavy category of 34% (58 people). So, students can manage stress by stress coping, managing stress, doing physical activity, thinking positively, and doing self-talk.

Objetivo: investigar os saberes e as motivações para formação inicial de estudantes de Educação Física Licenciatura, a partir das vivências pregressas e do início do curso. Métodos: a pesquisa caracterizou-se como descritiva com abordagem qualitativa e delineamento transversal. Participaram 16 estudantes do 1º ano do curso de Educação Física Licenciatura da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná. Para obtenção dos dados, foi utilizado como instrumento a entrevista semiestruturada com resultados tratados pela técnica de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: os resultados relacionados aos saberes e motivações anteriores à entrada no curso, destacaram-se principalmente a presença de ter um professor na família, o gosto pelo esporte, o querer ser professor, o gosto pelo ensino, o professor de Educação Física da escola como um exemplo, ter um diploma de nível superior e a vivência esportiva. Em relação aos saberes e motivações pertinentes às vivências a partir da entrada no curso, destacaram-se os vínculos com os pares, professores e contato com a escola. Conclusão: os saberes são constituídos ainda na vida pregressa do potencial professor, com indicativos de motivação à docência, sendo importante para ampliação de saberes docentes, os vínculos estabelecidos a partir da entrada na licenciatura em Educação Física, relacionados ao apoio pessoal e acadêmico entre pares, à relação de afinidade com disciplinas e professores, além das experiências na escola.ABSTRACT. Knowledge that motivate in initial training in physical education. Objective: to investigate the knowledge and motivations for the initial formation of undergraduate Physical Education students, based on previous experiences and the beginning of the course.  Methods: the research was characterized as descriptive with a qualitative approach and transversal design. Participated 16 students of the 1st year of Physical Education Degree course of the State University of Western Paraná. To obtain the data, the semi-structured interview with results treated by the content analysis technique was used as instrument.  Results: the results related to the knowledge and motivations prior to entering the course were mainly the presence of having a teacher in the family, the taste for the sport, the want to be a teacher, the taste for teaching, the Physical Education teacher of the school as a for example, having a higher education diploma and sports experience. Regarding the knowledge and motivations pertinent to the experiences from the entrance to the course, the most important were the links with the peers, teachers and contact with the school. Conclusion: the knowledge is still constituted in the previous life of the potential teacher, with indicatives of motivation to teaching, being important for the expansion of teaching knowledge, the links established from the entrance in the degree in Physical Education, related to personal and academic support between peers, the relationship of affinity with disciplines and teachers, as well as experiences in school.

This research is about describing the level of  physical fitness of  Physical Education students class of 2019. The research method is quantitative descriptive method. The variable in this research was the level of physical fitness. The subjects in this research was students of Physical Education at University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan class of 2019, there were 19 participant. Data collection in the research was conducted using a research instrument in the form of a 2.4 km run test. The results of this research indicate that the physical fitness level of Physical Education students is in the category of very less as many as 7 people (36.8%), in the category of less than 3 people (15.8%), in the moderate category as many as 6 people (31.6%), and good category as many as 3 people (15.8%). The results of this study illustrate that the physical fitness level of Physical Education students in the moderate-good category is 47.4% and the students in the very-poor category is 52.6%. It was concluded that more than 50% of physical education study program students had poor physical fitness levels.Keywords: Physical Fitness, Students of Physical Education, Fitness, Physical EducationAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Tahun 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deksriptif kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian ini adalah tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan angkatan tahun 2019 yang berjumlah 19 orang. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian dilakukan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa tes lari 2,4 km. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa progam studi Pendidikan Jasmani berkategori sangat kurang sebanyak 7 orang (36,8%), berkategori kurang sebanyak 3 orang (15,8%), berkategori sedang sebanyak 6 orang (31,6%), dan berkategori baik sebanyak 3 orang (15,8%). Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Jasmani kategori sedang-baik 47,4%  dan mahasiswa kategori kurang-sangat kurang 52,6%. Disimpulkan bahwa lebih dari 50% mahasiswa program studi pendidikan jasmani memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani yang kurang baik.Kata kunci: Kebugaran Jasmani, Mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani, Kebugaran, Pendidikan Jasmani

In producing good and quality learning in sports education, it needs to be equipped with good motoric movements in order to achieve goals and follow the learning contained in the physical education curriculum, so that the expected graduates can be achieved. This study aims to determine the level of motor skills of physical education students of Universitas Islam Riau. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the method used is a survey method in the form of tests and measurements to physical education students. The population used in this study was all physical education students in semester 1 of the 2019/2020 academic year with a total of 224 people. While the sample of 144 people was selected by random sampling. The instrument used was the motor ability test from Harol M. Barrow in the form of a test battery with a validity coefficient of 0.92 with a series of tests; wall pass, basketball throw, broad jump and 4.sec. The results of the research on the level of motor skills of physical education students at the Universitas Islam Riau were mostly in the moderate category.
