Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap tradisi nujuh bulanan. Masyarakat sudah tidak terlalu mementingkan tradisi nujuh bulanan, padahal tradisi ini merupakan warisan dari nenek moyang kita yang dapat menjadi ciri khas orang Sunda. Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) tatacara pelaksanaan tradisi nujuh bulanan, 2) folklor apa saja yang terdapat dalam tradisi nujuh bulanan, 3) hasil penelitian untuk bahan pembelajaran membaca artikel budaya di SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kamera dan pedoman wawancara. Hasilnya adalah: pertama, bahwa dalam pelaksanaan tradisi nujuh bulanan terdapat tiga hal yang biasa dilakukan, diantaranya pengajian, membuat rujak dan memandikan yang sedang mengandung. Kedua, dalam tradisi nujuh bulanan terdapat folklor lisan, folklor setengah lisan dan folklor non lisan. Ketiga, hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembelajaran membaca artikel budaya di SMA kelas XII.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah agar masyarakat lebih mengenal tradisi-tradisi leluhur kita kemudian dapat menjaga dan melestarikannya.Saran ditujukan kepada peneliti selanjutnya agar lebih mencari dan menggali lebih dalam tentang mengenai tradisi masyarakat Sunda.AbstractThis study is based on the lack of people knowledge about tingkeban tradition. People have not been prioritizing tingkeban tradition lately, meanwhile this tradition is a heritage from the descent which can be defined as a thew for Sundanese. The aims of this study are to describe: 1) procedure of tingkeban tradition, 2) folklore on tingkeban tradition, 3) the finding of this study as teaching material for reading culture article at senior high school. This study uses desctiptive qualitative method by using technic observation, interview and documentation. Instrument that is used in this study is a camera and a handbook of interview. The finding shows that: first, in the implementation of tingkeban tradition there are three steps that should be done, those are reading holly Qur’an, making traditional fruits and vegetables salad dish (rujak) and bathing pregnancy woman. Second, there are three kinds of folklore in tingkeban tradition, those are oral folklore, half-oral folklore, and verbal folklore. Third, the finding of this study can be used as teaching material for reading culture article on 12th grade of senior high school. The result of this study is expected to people especially Sundanese in order to know more about their traditions so that it can be maintained and preserved. A recommendation is aimed for the next researcher to analyze and to have deeper exploration about Sundanese tradition.

AbstractThis study is aimed to find out and describe the students' error on active and passive voices on students’ writing skill especially in local errors, inter-lingual errors and intra-lingual errors. Everybody who considers English has precisely made a few blunders, particularly the students in Junior secondary school or in Senior High School.. Active contrasts with passive mainly. For most active clauses, there is a corresponding passive clause, which has almost exactly the same meaning, but a different emphasis. The research was done at public senior high school in CISEENG, BOGOR, and it was done on March 2018. The researcher did the research in the science class on 12th grade. The method, which was used in this research, is the qualitative method. In this case the researcher asked the English teacher on that school to get the students’ writing result. The data used in this research is the error on active and passive voices on students’ writing at public senior high school. To get the data, the students wrote their own text. The result shows that active voice errors are more than passive voice errors. It means that the students still have difficulties to make the correct English structure in active voice.Keywords: Error Analysis, Aactive-Passive Voice, Students’ Writing.

The aim of this research is to find out a content analysis of character values in the English students’ textbooks for senior high school 10th grade, 11th grade and 12th grade and the dominant differences of character from all the books. This research employed qualitative method by using content analysis. For this research mainly character values in the textbooks was carried out. The data in this research were all passages that taken from the three English sudents’ textbooks for senior high school. This research used observation check list as the instruments to evaluate coursebooks in an effective and practical way. The researcher has analyzed the data based character values found on the three books. And all of the dominants character values that the researcher were found.

The aim of this journal is to research the social values on the Novel “Aku Harus Jadi Malaikat” was witten by Zakiah D Aziz’s as teaching material in Senior High School. The methodology research is a qualitative research, but the preparation process is assisted by quantitative research. In qualitative research of instrument is the researcher himself and the method used is descriptive qualitative method, this method is used to analyze, describe and describe the elements that become the center of research. The result is this study can be implemented as teaching materials in novel texts. As well as introducing an author's perspective in writing his work. By paying attention to structures such as themes, characters / characterizations, paths, settings and mandates, so that they can be more easily understood by students.

The purpose of this research is produce chemistry teaching material using concept map strategy that valid, practical, and effective to improve understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student in senior high school. The development of teaching material used to four D Models and was tested to 2 classes in class X of SMAN 1 Muara Bengkal second semester in academic year 2014/2015. Teaching material tested to One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Tested of teaching material used to one group pretest and posttest design. The data collection used observation method, test, and quetionnaires. The data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis of quantitative, qualitative and statistic non parametric. The results of this research are: 1) Teaching material developed has a valid category; 2) The practicality of teaching material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students activities in accordance with steps of direct instruction using concept map strategy; and 3) The teaching material effectiveness in terms of: (a) Improving understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student by getting the n-gain score from students and  the result of non parametric analysis (b) The students’ responds toward material and implementation of teaching are very positive. It’s conclusion that the teaching material through concept map strategy are valid, practical, and effective to improve understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student in senior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran Kimia yang berbasis strategi belajar peta konsep yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D dan diujicobakan pada 2 kelas di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Muara Bengkal pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Ujicoba perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, kualitatif dan uji statistik nonparametrik. Temuan hasil penelitian, yaitu: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan pada model pembelajaran langsung yang menerapkan strategi belajar peta konsep; dan 3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Peningkatan Hasil belajar pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang  terlihat dari nilai n-gain masing-masing siswa serta hasil analisis data nonparametrik yang telah dilakukan; (b) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran kimia berbasis strategi belajar peta konsep yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA.

The objective of the research is to investigate the use of transitivity process in students' descriptive text and to find out the most dominant process of transitivity used. The data analyzed were 46 clauses taken from descriptive text written by six students of tenth grade of senior high school. In this research, the writers used descriptive qualitative method. The result of the research showed that there were 4 types of processes that occurred in the data, they were: material process (8, 70%), mental process (17, 39%), relational process (45, 65%), and existential process (28, 26%). While, behavioral and verbal process were not found. The most dominant process found was relational process. It implies that students were aware how descriptive text should be written, since one of language features in descriptive text is using clauses with relational process.

This study intended to know the description of stress coping strategies of 12th grade students of Jakarta 42 State Senior High School in facing National Exam. This study stems from the interest of researchers towards the number of cases of high school students who do not pass the National Exam. Researchers seek to impart knowledge to students on how to cope with their stress effectively and to the school and parents for providing the proper approach for students to face the National Exam. This study is a quantitative study using questionnaires as a measurement to know the description of stress coping strategies of Jakarta 42 State Senior High School students. Research instruments are compiled based on the theory developed by Lahey. In this research, obtained results that the class XII students of SMAN 42 Jakarta have a more predominant use of effective coping to cope with their stress in facing the National Exam. The most widely used strategy is removing stress and managing stress reaction

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi penyusunan materi pengajaran fonetik pada bahan ajar bahasa Mandarin tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini melibatkan 8 paket bahan ajar bahasa Mandarin di sekolah menengah atas. Dari penelitian 8 paket bahan ajar tersebut ternyata penyusunan pengajaran fonetik pada sebagian besar bahan ajar tersebut masih menggunakan format umum, serta tidak mempertimbangkan kesulitan pelajar yang bahasa ibunya adalah bahasa Indonesia. Selain itu, pada sebagian besar bahan ajar, alokasi jumlah unit pelajaran tentang fonetik cenderung masih sedikit dan terkesan disederhanakan. Berdasarkan hal ini, dengan bersumber kepada beberapa penelitian fonetik yang telah dilakukan oleh beberapa pemerhati pendidikan bahasa Mandarin baik di Indonesia dan Tiongkok, peneliti menyarankan format penyusunan pengajaran fonetik pada bahan ajar bahasa Mandarin tingkat sekolah menengah atas yang lebih baik. Hal ini dilakukan agar peserta didik khususnya pelajar pemula bahasa Mandarin di sekolah  menengah atas dapat lebih mudah mempelajarinya.    Kata-kata kunci :          Bahasa Mandarin, bahan ajar, fonetik, sekolah menengah atas AbstractThe main objective of this study is to evaluate the arrangement of phonetic teaching in Mandarin teaching material at senior high school level. The study involved eight packages of Mandarin teaching materials in senior high school. Based on the study of this 8 packages teaching materials, apparently the arrangement of phonetic teaching in most of the materials still utilizes a common format, and does not take into consideration the difficulties of students whose native language is Indonesian. In addition, the majority of the teaching materials allocates only a few units of phonetic lessons, and is oversimplified. As regards, I suggested a better format on the arrangement of phonetic teaching in Mandarin teaching material at senior high school level, referring to some phonetic research that has been done by some Mandarin education observers, both in Indonesia and China. Hopefully learners, especially beginner students in senior high school may learn Mandarin much easier.Keywords: Mandarin, teaching material, phonetic, senior high school
