Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas Competency Based Training, tingkat penguasaan kompetensi siswa dan Pengaruh Efektivitas Competency Based Training terhadap kompetensi siswa Penelitian ini fokus mengkaji masalah rendahnya kompetensi siswa. Rendahnya kompetensi siswa ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Competency Based Training diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kompetensi Siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket model rating scale dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai dengan 4. Kemudian responden adalah siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Bandung sebanyak 56 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Competency Based Training berada pada kategori efektif; (2) tingkat penguasaan kompetensi siswa berada pada kategori tinggi; (3) Competency Based Training berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi siswa. Dengan demikian kompetensi siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan efektivitas Competency Based Training.Kata Kunci: kompetensi siswa, pelatihan berbasis kompetensi IMPROVEMENT OF STUDENTS’ COMPETENCY THROUGH COMPETENCY  BASED TRAINING EFFECTIVENESSThe purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of Competency Based Training, the level of student’s competency, and the effect of Competency Based Training on student’s competency This research focuses on issue of low student competency. This study aimed to reveal the Implementation of resource management based on ISO 9001:2008 on the teachers’ performances. It employed a survey method. The data collection technique covered rating scale model questionnaire between one to five measurement. The respondent of the study were ninety teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. The data analysis technique employed simple regression. The result shows that the implementation of resource management based on ISO 9001:2008 affects the teachers’ performances partially and significantly.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh implementasi manajemen sumber daya berbasis (ISO 9001:2008) terhadap kinerja guru. Responden penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Negeri 3 Bandung sebanyak 90 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi manajemen sumber daya berbasis (ISO 9001:2008)  memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan parsial terhadap kinerja guru.

This research aims to analyze student’s motivation learning, which is developed by keterampilan mengajar guru. This research employed survey method. Data colletion techniques used question form with rating scale model on scale of 1-5. The respondents consisted of students of the private vocational high schools in Cimahi. Data were analyzed with regression technique. The result of this research show that teacher’s teaching skills had positive influence on student’s motivation learning. So, student’s motivation learning can be improved by improvement of keterampilan mengajar guru.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis motivasi belajar siswa yang dikembangkan melalui keterampilan mengajar guru di kelas. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket skala 5 dengan model rating scale. Responden adalah siswa dari salah satu SMK Swasta di Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan mengajar guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa secara parsial. Sehingga motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan keterampilan mengajar guru.

This study is aimed to analyze the influence of professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning on the effectiveness of learning. This study employed explanatory survey method. This research also used data collection technique in the form of questionnaire with rating scale model. Respondents of this study include students of a Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique in this research is regression technique. The results show that the professional competence of teachers and powerpoint as a media of learning have a positive and significant influence on the effectiveness of learning, either partially or simultaneously. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi profesional guru dan media pembelajaran powerpoint terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran. The purpose of this study was to analyze influence work climate and work motivation to employees performance. This research used explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used question form with rating scale model on scale of 1-5. Respondents are structural employees Department of Education and Culture in one of the cities in West Java. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the study revealed that work climate and work motivation both partially and simultaneously, has the positive and significant influence toward employees performance. Thus the temployee’s performance can be improved through increased work climate and work motivation.  ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh iklim organisasi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. This study aimed to analyze the influence of workplace environment and discipline toward the performance of employees. Workplace environment and discipline were factors that presumed have an important role as supporting the success of employees in achieving good performance results. This research used explanatory survey method and data were collected by using questionnaire with score that ranged from 1 to 3 rating scale model. Respondents were 28 employees in the Bureau of Personnel of Indonesia University of Education. Techniques of data analysis used simple and multiple regressions. The results of research showed that the workplace environment and discipline had a positive and significant impact on employees’ performance, either partially or simultaneously. Therefore, the performance of employees can be improved through improving the workplace environment and discipline of employee.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Lingkungan dan disiplin kerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang diduga memiliki peran penting sebagai penunjang keberhasilan pegawai dalam meraih hasil kinerja yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 3 model rating scale,. Responden adalah pegawai di Biro Kepegawaian Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa lingkungan dan disiplin kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja pegawai dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja pegawai.

This paper presents an IRT analysis of the Beck Depression Inventory which was carried out to assess the assumption of an underlying latent trait common to non-clinical and patient samples. A one parameter rating scale model was fitted to data drawn from a patient and non-patient sample. Findings suggest that while the BDI fits the model reasonably well for the two samples separately there is sufficient differential item functioning to raise serious duobts of the viability of using it analogously with patient and non-patient groups.

Abstract Background The Kessler Distress Scale (K10) is a self-report scale for the assessment of non-specific psychological distress in the general and clinical population. Because of its ease of application and good psychometric properties, the K10 has been adapted to several cultures. The present study seeks to adapt the K10 to Brazilian Portuguese and estimate its validity evidence and reliability. Methods A total of 1914 individuals from the general population participated in the study (age = 34.88, SD = 13.61, 77.7% female). The adjustment indices were compared among three different measurement models proposed for the K10 through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The items’ properties were analyzed by Andrich’s Rating Scale Model (RSM). Furthermore, evidence based on relations to other variables (depression, stress, anxiety, positive and negative affects, and satisfaction with life) was estimated. Results CFA indicated the adequacy of the bifactor model (CFI= 0.985; TLI= 0.973; SMR= 0.019; RMSEA= 0.050), composed of two specific factors (depression and anxiety) and one general factor (psychological distress), corresponding to the theoretical hypothesis. Additionally, it was observed multiple-group invariance by gender and age range. The RSM provided an understanding of the organization of the continuum represented by the psychological distress construct (items difficulty), which varied from −0.89 to 1.00; good adjustment indexes; infit between 0.67 and 1.32; outfit between 0.68 and 1.34; and desirable reliability, α= 0.87. Lastly, theoretically coherent associations with the external variables were observed. Conclusions It is concluded that the Brazilian version of the K10 is a suitable measure of psychological distress for the Brazilian population.
