This study aimed to examine the effect of professionalism, competence, organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the performance of auditors at the public accounting firm (KAP) in Padang (6 Firms) and Medan (18 Firms) obtained by 96 respondens. This study was also conducted to determine if there are differences them. This research using primary data and sampling is done by purposive sampling method. The reasons for selecting different objects based on their differences in location and working environment on each KAP could cause differences mindset and worldview, values that are believed or how auditors work and indirectly led to differences in the understanding of how to generate performance the good one. The results of the analysis are the professionalism, competence and organizational commitment affect the performance of auditors, but job satisfaction has no influence on the performance of auditors. There is no difference among auditors in Padang and Medan because wherever auditor work then work will have the same standard, as set out in the professional ethics of auditors.

In the current era of globalization there are so many legal cases involving accounting manipulation. The auditor's profession has been a public spotlight in recent years. An auditor must have a high professionalism in carrying out his duties. Audit results from an auditor should be accountable to the parties concerned. The performance of the auditor is the result of the auditor's work in performing the assignment of examination of the financial statements of an entity with the aim of determining the reasonableness of the financial statements. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of auditor professionalism, organizational commitment, and professional ethics on the performance of auditors public accounting firm in Bali Province. Sampling method used is purposive sampling method, while data collection method is done by using questioner. The population in this study are all auditors who work at Public Accounting Firm in Bali Province. Public Accounting Firm used is Public Accounting Firm which is registered in the Directory published by Indonesian Institute of Certified Public of 2017 which is located in Bali a number of 7 Public Accounting Firm. The total number of auditors from 7 offices is 65 auditors. The number of research samples used were 36 respondents. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that auditor professionalism, organizational commitment, and professional ethics have a positive effect on auditor performance.

Abstract-This study aims to influence independence and professionalism on audit quality with job satisfaction as moderating variables. The research was conducted at the Public Accounting Office located in the Bali Region. The population of this research is all auditors who work at the Public Accountant Office in Bali with a purposive sampling technique to obtain a sample of 112 auditors. Data is collected using questionnaires. Data analyzed uses Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the study show that 1) Independence has a positive effect on audit quality at the Public Accounting Firm in Bali. 2) Professionalism has a positive effect on audit quality at the Public Accountant Office in Bali. 3) Job Satisfaction strengthens the influence of Independence on audit quality at the Public Accounting Firm in Bali. 4) Job Satisfaction strengthens the influence of audit Professionalism on audit quality at the Public Accounting Firm in Bali. Keywords: Independence; professionalism; audit quality; job satisfaction Abstrak-Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Pengaruh lndependensi dan Profesionalisme Terhadap Kualitas audit dengan Kepuasan Kerja sebagai Variabel Pemoderasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kantor Akuntan Publik yang berada di Wilayah Bali. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh auditor yang bekerja pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Bali dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 112 Auditor. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Data dianalsis mengguanakan Moderated Regression Analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Independensi berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas audit pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Bali. 2) Profesionalisme berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas audit pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Bali. 3) Kepuasan Kerja memperkuat pengaruh Independensi terhadap kualitas audit pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Bali. 4) Kepuasan Kerja memperkuat pengaruh Profesionalisme audit pada kualitas audit pada Kantor Akuntan Publik di Bali. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the quality of the audit at the public accounting firm in Medan. This research is a basic research. The research was conducted in several public accounting firms (KAP) in Medan City. The population in this study were all independent auditors who worked at the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Medan City, which were registered in the IAI Directory of the Public Accountants Compartment in 2018-2019, totaling 168 auditors. Sampling is done using probability techniques that provide equal opportunities for each member of the population to be elected. Because the number of the study population is small, all populations are sampled (census). The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to internal auditors who work at the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Medan City. The results showed that there was a significant effect of accountability on audit quality. There is a significant effect of competence on audit quality. There is a significant effect of independence on audit quality. There is a significant effect of professional ethics on audit quality. And the professional ethics moderation model is able to strengthen the influence of competence on audit quality.

Abstract Relevance and reliability are the two primary qualities that make accounting information useful for decision making. Therefore, an audit of financial statement is necessary, especially for a Tbk company. To maintain the trust of clients and users of financial statements, the public accountants should to have sufficient competence, such as professionalism, knowledge to detects errors, professional ethics and judgement of materiality level. Purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence about affect of professionalism, knowledge to detect errors, and professional ethics to the public accountants judgement of materiality level with partial and simultaneous. Population in the study is a public accountant who worked at a Public Accounting Firm in South Jakarta. Sampling technique using convenience sampling method. Data obtained by questionnaire survey completed by the public accountant with 98 respondents from 9 Public Accounting Firm with primary data types. Design is causal research. The results showed that : 1) Professionalism affect of the judgement of materiality level. 2) Knowledge to detect errors did not affect of the judgement of materiality level. 3) Professional ethics affect of the judgement of materiality level. 4) Professionalism, knowledge to detect errors, and professional ethics affect of the judgement of materiality level.                                                                Keyword :    Professionalism, Knowledge to detect errors, Professional ethics and Judgment of materiality level.

This research conducted with the aim of (1) Knowing and anlyzing the influence ofcompetencies on audit quality, (2) knowing and anlyzing the influence of work experience on auditquality, (3) knowing and analyzing the influence profesionalism on audit quality, (4) knowing andanalyzing the influence of auditor ethics on audit quality. Research uses primary data through asurvey of auditors working in the Public Accounting Firm of the Makassar city, amounting to 36people. The study was conducted for theree months from january to march 2019 Data was analyzedusing the Statistical Package for the Social Scienes (SPSS).The results of the study show that (1)Competance has a positive and significant effect on audit quality, (2) Experience has a positive andsignificant effect on audit quality, (3) Profesionalism has a positive and significant effect on auditquality, (4) Auditors’ ethics have no effect on audit quality.

The research purposes to obtain and understand the empirical evidence about audit experience, auditor’s professional scepticism and time pressure toward auditor’s ability to detect fraud. The research method used was quantitative by using primary data questionnaires to the Public Accounting Firm in Center Jakarta. Sample taking method on this research is using simple random sampling. The result showed that audit experience and auditor’s professional scepticism have positive and significant effect on auditor’s ability to detect fraud, time pressure has negative and significant effect on auditor’s ability to detect fraud.

The success or failure of the audit activities carried out by the auditor is known as audit quality. An audit is considered qualified if it is carried out in accordance with applicable auditing standards or regulations. There are several factors that can affect audit quality and one of them is emotional intelligence which will be the independent variable in this study. This study was conducted to test and analyze the influence of emotional intelligence on audit quality at the Public Accounting Firm in Bandung. The data used in this study are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to 48 partners of the Public Accounting Firm as respondents who participated in filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used a structural equation model - PLS. The results showed that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on audit quality.

Public Accounting Firm (PAF) switching in companies follows the regulation number 17/PMK.01/2008 article 3 of the Minister of Finance Republik Indonesia, which is in a period of 6 years or voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the size of PAF, financial distress (FD), firm size of client (FSC), client management switching (CMS), audit comitee switching (ACS) to PAF switching voluntarily on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed in IDX in 2010-2014. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling method and 21 companies are selected as the sample by criteria. These variables are then tested using logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The result showed that the size of PAF, FD, FSC, CMS does not affect PAF Switching and ACS has affect PAF Switching. The limitations of this research, the variables used only five independent variables, the research period only five years, and sample selection is only based on a purposive sampling.

Public trust in auditors or audit firm as an independent party authorized to audit financial statements is very high. Auditors who can improve their performance are believed to be capable of becoming qualified auditors and capable of producing high quality products. This study aims to analyze the effect of locus of control, organizational culture, organizational commitment, and audit structure on auditor performance. The population in this study were all auditors at the level of partners, managers, seniors, and juniors as well as staff auditors at the Public Accounting Firm in Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire. This study was tested with multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 23 program. The results showed that locus of control, organizational culture, organizational commitment, and audit structure had an effect on auditor performance.

<p class="Style1">The objective of this research is to empirically analyze the influence of professionalism, auditor's independency, and audit complexity toward audit quality. And to empirically analyze about the influence of professionalism, auditor's independency, and audit complexity toward audit quality which is moderated by education and audit training, particularly for auditors who work for Public Accounting Firm in East Jakarta. The populations in this research are several auditors who work for Public Accounting Firm in East Jakarta. The samples are collected with convenience sampling method and total of samples are about 72 respondents from 11 PAFs spread all across East Jakarta. The questionnaire method was used for collecting primary data. And double regression linear were used to analyze the data that has been collected. The result of this research shows that professionalism, auditor's independency, and also audit complexity have positive influences toward audit quality, significantly. Also, education and audit training have a signifkant role as moderated variables in relationships between influence of professionalism, auditor's independency, and audit complexity toward audit quality.</p>
