Information processing in learning theory involves students' ability to receive and understand the information obtained. Students' ability to identify learning methods that are appropriate to the learning style plays an important role in continuously improving the quality of teaching and learning. The need to diversify learning methods today is seen as a step to refine the learning approach in line with the latest technology development. Different student learning styles affect the quality of learning and motivation for a course, especially hospitality and tourism courses. This course is given less emphasis on the theoretical aspect and only focuses on practical needs. Thus, this study examines the adaptation of student learning style based on the Felder-Silverman learning style model. Student learning styles identified through a survey study of 80 students of Hospitality and Tourism courses were used as the basis for developing the e-Hospitality and Tourism model. The resulting e-Hospitality and Tourism model can be used as a guide in technical and vocational e-Learning.

This type of research is a quasi-experimental research. The purpose of this study is to determine whether student learning outcomes with the LMS method (using Schoology) are higher than conventional and whether there is an interaction between learning methods with student learning styles. The population of this study were all students of the mechanical engineering study program at the PTKI campus Medan. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The control class and experimental class selected each consisted of 20 people. The instrument used to measure students' mathematical achievement is the essay-test. The instrument used to measure student learning styles is a questionnaire. The normality test used is the Lilliefor test and homogeneity test using the Fisher test. Then the ANOVA test was performed with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that students who were taught using Schoology had high learning outcomes compared to conventional learning and visual learning styles were highest in learning outcomes than other learning styles. But learning styles and learning methods don't have interactions. For further research, it can be done with different learning models and adding other variables to see the readiness of our human resources in facing the industrial world.

The industrial revolution 4.0 in the field of education provides convenience in learning methods and processes. Internet-based technology makes it easier for students to learn independently, quickly in providing feedback, and freely choose material from library sources from anywhere. As a result, student learning styles change along with the development of internet-based technology. In the coursework, students can read and combine various writings from several sources, and in-class when students present assignments of learning materials that have been read so that they are easily understood by other students. Likewise, in completing paper assignments from lecturers, students can read various papers given by many lecturers. This happens because of the students' understanding of the assignments given by the lecturer. The purpose of this study was to identify the learning styles of students of the Biology Education Study Program, STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat on the development of internet-based technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. This type of research is descriptive and the approach used is quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the learning style of students of the Biology Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat, Padang, West Sumatra tends to be visual, namely 60.3%. The presence of internet technology and its use in an educational institution is a medium or source of learning that can be utilized by students
