The article problematizes the vision of empathy in the context of helping professions. Empathy is seen as the higher psychic function and as an ability. The working model of empathy as an ability, which is based on the methodological principles of the Russian tradition of the research and development of abilities is proposed (V.D. Shadrikov). The specificity of empathy in helping professional’s activities and existing methods of «professional empathy» development are analyzed. The empathy professionalization concept as a necessary interconnected development of motivational, operational and functional components of the empathic abilities with regard to the conditions and requirements of a particular profession is substantiated.

Additive manufacturing has already been established as a highly versatile manufacturing technique with demonstrated potential to completely transform conventional manufacturing in the future. The objective of this paper is to review the latest progress and challenges associated with the fabrication of multi-material parts using additive manufacturing technologies. Various manufacturing processes and materials used to produce functional components were investigated and summarized. The latest applications of multi-material additive manufacturing (MMAM) in the automotive, aerospace, biomedical and dentistry fields were demonstrated. An investigation on the current challenges was also carried out to predict the future direction of MMAM processes. It was concluded that further research and development is needed in the design of multi-material interfaces, manufacturing processes and the material compatibility of MMAM parts.

As today’s challenges require more innovations and a faster progress regionally and nationwide, the research and development products are increasingly in demand, competition is high, manufacturing relations globalize, assessing the effectiveness of the management system of achieving financial stability of engineering companies becomes especially important. The article explains why engineering companies should change from the operational management to the strategic one. It also gives the comparison of the operational and strategic management. The paper suggests the comprehensive assessment of the strategy of achieving financial stability. It is seen as a tool for regulating financial and business operations of engineering companies. The article provides the system approach to the definition of the main measures for achieving financial stability of engineering companies. It justifies functional components of the strategy such as finance, marketing, HR, production, research and development ones. The inclusion of research and development component into the strategic plans will allow reducing the expenditures of an engineering company which allow keeping competitive positions not only in the domestic market but also in the external market (competition with foreign organizations). The comprehensive assessment of the strategy of achieving financial stability of an engineering company comprises three steps: analyzing the economic and social conditions of the engineering company, evaluating the progress of the adopted strategy, and monitoring its implementation. In order to determine necessary adjustments in the strategy of achieving financial sustainability the authors propose a model of assessing the strategic financial position of an engineering company which will allow monitoring the criteria of financial components of the strategy. On the basis of the comprehensive assessment of the strategy of achieving financial sustainability of an engineering company the authors developed the matrix facilitating the identification of potential strategic approaches.

This article highlights the socio-psychological aspects of supervision groups organised for psychologists who are just starting their practical activities, based on the analysis of the methodological framework of supervision in a group. Supervision is seen as a counselling form aimed at improving the quality of communication and cooperation in the professional sphere, as a form of professional support, primarily in the areas of helping professions - psychology, psychotherapy, social work, as well as in management. In the last twenty years, the interest in supervision has been associated with the rapid growth of consultative and therapeutic services, due to wider use of the biopsychosocial approach and the model of "community care". The European model of supervision, which focuses on the integrative approach to supervision, has become relevant to these new demands of increased practice. In this article, we proceed from the idea that the modern methodology for supervision, relevant to the complex and multi-level tasks of modern practice, is based on the vision and principles of the integrative approach. The integrative approach used in groups and organizational supervision involves a combination of the capabilities of the systemic, humanistic, cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic directions with the principles of inter-subjective interaction, where the focus is on relationships between a supervisor and a supervisee. We also point out the expediency principle for choosing an approach used by a supervisor in a specific situation, depending on a subject, a supervision request and the supervisor’s focus at a certain stage of work. In this case, the main procedural model of practical work is the seven-dimensional model of supervision. A supervisor’s activity is implemented on the basis of the system of methodological principles given in the article. The central subject of our research was group dynamics under supervision, since it was proven that group supervision work was largely based on a supervisor’s understanding and conscious use of the resources of group dynamics. The effectiveness of this work largely depended on taking into account the regularities of stages, processes and phenomena of group dynamics.

Introduction. The logistics is one of the principal conditions of upgrading the efficiency and resultfulness of the functioning of agrarian enterprises. An efficient logistic system provides for rationalization of use of the resource basis of agrarian enterprises. The arrangement of an efficient management of the logistic system of agrarian enterprises requires explanation of its structural and functional components. Methods. The following methods of research have been used in the process of investigation: synthesis and analysis, scientific generalization, abstract and logics method, and method of systematization. Results. In the article the pre-requirements of efficient strategic management of the logistic system of agrarian enterprises are defined. Theoretical approaches concerning definition of the content of the notion “logistic system” are worked out. Structural and functional components of the logistic system of agrarian enterprises are clarified, among which there is the organization and management sub-system, the sub-system of supply, storing, production, transporting, distribution and sale, the apparatus of management of non-material flows, and the instruments of interaction with counteragents. The specific characteristics of the logistic system are identified, namely: openness, multi-functioning, emergency, adaptability structural and management organization. Discussion. The received results will serve as a basis for further research of the segment of improvement of theoretical and methodological principles of raising the efficiency of strategic management of the logistic system of agrarian enterprises Keywords: logistics, logistic system, management, efficiency, agrarian enterprises.

The concept of client-centered therapy (Rogers, 1951) has influenced many professions to refocus their treatment of clients from assessment outcomes to the person who uses the information from this assessment. The term adopted for use in the professions of Communication Sciences and Disorders and encouraged by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is patient-centered care, with the goal of helping professions, like audiology, focus more centrally on the patient. The purpose of this paper is to examine some of the principles used in a patient-centered therapy approach first described by de Shazer (1985) named Solution-Focused Therapy and how these principles might apply to the practice of audiology. The basic assumption behind this model is that people are the agents of change and the professional is there to help guide and enable clients to make the change the client wants to make. This model then is focused on solutions, not on the problems. It is postulated that by using the assumptions in this model audiologists will be more effective in a shorter time than current practice may allow.
