Existing is a verb that encompasses basal biological categories - biochemical, cellular and molecular processes - and psychodynamics, these tied to the experiences of ones and the world. Mental health, then, has as essential problem the face of the other and the "Other" through limited mechanisms and, also, by affections marked by otherness. The question, therefore, was "the most viral memes are based on which psychic processes and, therefore, what was the related otherness?". Three accounts on Instagram - @jedinizm, @pacifylyrics and @mariamchami - were evaluated qualitatively based on the parameters (i) communication objective, (ii) particular psychic function made collective and (iii) taboos and restrictive social norms addressed; clash arose by the critical reading of Sigmund Freud and Maria Homem. The joke was observed in the three accounts, @pacifylyrics presented greater conjugation between images - individual memes - and songs, @mariamchami, in turn, acts in a disruptive way, demystifying the image of the muslim woman through the ridicule of the intolerant thinking of the viewer. @jedinizm, more attentive to the public in general, brings themes such as adultery and financial bankruptcy as objects of laughter and subversion. In all cases, the meme acted as elaboration of affections for conscious denial, raising the characteristic austerity of forbidden themes in the social norm. It is, in fact, a category of popular education in collective mental health.

Ernie Gehr has worked in both film and digital media. This chapter examines several key works representative of both media. In contrast to critical approaches that see Gehr’s work as purely cognitive or structural exercises, the author argues that it has a deeply personal dimension, the sources of which can be traced to his childhood, and even earlier, to his parents’ experiences during the Second World War. Gehr’s incorrigible sense of play and fascination with magic are explored as essential to his love affair with motion picture media. His use of the frame in both media is particularly stressed as having a strong psychic function, not unlike that of the holding environment provided in psychoanalytic therapy.

the structure of the psyche has numerous interpretations, and all because of the multidimensionality of the human soul. The article attempts to integrate different concepts of the structure of the psychical into the single model, presented in the form of a drawing. In this model, various points of view on the nature of the psyche are depicted as layers (planes) that exist not separately from each other, but supposedly spliced. In particular, the first layer – psychic functions (cognitive, emotional and volitional) – cannot function outside the plane of the conscious-unconscious, since only some psychic processes are conscious, and the vast majority are in the sphere of the unconscious. Similarly, every psychic function (from the first layer) has its own inborn source (psychophysical innate abilities) and acquired use (a formed skill that unfolds through the activity of psychophysical innate abilities). And this means that the psyche cannot be studied beyond the problem of the innate-acquired, which is the third plane of our model. Logically from this follows the fourth plane of the psyche – the psychophysiological level, which not only manifests itself through psychosomatic problems, but also generally reflects the material basis of the ideal world of the psyche. In turn, the constant fluidity of mental processes from the innate to the acquired, from the conscious to the unconscious, and vice versa gives the following plane – steady-dynamic, in the study of which the variability of all psychological phenomena is revealed. The deployment of the acquired content of the psyche occurs through the use of mechanisms of interiorization-exteriorization, which, again, is a separate layer of psychic (and – a separate direction of psychological research). The central-forming component in our model is the subjectivity of a person, which has not only been a separate subject of research in different psychological directions, but also forms a methodological basis for the formation of an authentic Ukrainian school of psychology in the future.

C: I: Parhon and his colleagues have drawn attention to the existence of psychic disorders, especially manic-depressive and delusional, in a range of endocrine disorders such as acromegaly, gigantism, adipose-genital dystrophy, highlighting the aggressiveness of patients with acromegaly. A number of clinical trials have shown that pituitary dysfunction can be associated with schizophrenia and even epilepsy. In this study, 19 patients were diagnosed with acromegaly following STH dosing, resulting in values higher than the upper limit (ie above 5 ng / mL in men or over 10 ng / mL in females). These patients had complete neurological examination, electroencephalogram, psychological examination, and the Hamilton depression scale.

Didier Anzieu’s notion of the skin-ego builds on a long psychoanalytic tradition that began with Freud’s idea that the ego is first and foremost a body ego, a projection in the psyche of the surface of the body, or, in other words, the idea that psychic phenomena are always embodied. An interface, a container for the ego, but also its origin: thus did Anzieu conceptualize the skin’s psychic function. The baby’s fantasy of having a common skin with the mother is the concrete starting point for a development that, through the prohibition on touching, leads to the experience of being a separate and individual person. Psychoanalytic work with severe mental disorders makes it necessary to investigate deficiencies in the skin-ego’s containing function before the patient’s psychic contents can be explored. In the psychoanalytic situation, the analyst’s words replace tactile contact and thereby contribute to healing injuries to the skin-ego. The clinical implications of Anzieu’s theoretical model are illustrated by examples from psychoanalyses of children and adults. The close connection between touch, psychic envelopes, and thinking opens a wider perspective on the necessity of setting limits to violence, against both nature and human beings.

<p><em>Background<br /> </em>Traditional use, chemical constituents, and results of prior animal studies indicate alleviating effects of <em>Opuntia ficus-indica</em> flowers extract on subsyndromal fatigue symptoms in humans</p><p> </p><p><em>Methods<br /> </em>50 healthy subjects of either gender aged 30 to 60 years with subsyndromal fatigue were enrolled in this open-label monocentric single arm proof-of-principle study. 500mg of a hydro-alcoholic extract from <em>Opuntia ficus-indica</em> flowers were administered daily over 8 weeks. Mental and psychic function parameters were assessed by numerical analogue scale of Subjective Fatigue Symptoms, Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory 20, Sheehan Disability Scale, Short Form Health Survey 36, Fatigue Impact Scale, and Global Self-Assessment. Also, health-related incidents, laboratory parameters and vital signs were measured during the intervention period.</p><p> </p><p><em>Results<br /> </em>Improvement of fatigue symptoms could be shown in most measurements after week 1 and continued further throughout the trial. 70.0% of subjects reported global improvement of their complaints at end of study.</p><p> </p><em>Conclusions<br /> </em>A consistent and positive effect of<em> Opuntia ficus-indica</em> flowers extract on symptoms of fatigue could be demonstrated. The article problematizes the vision of empathy in the context of helping professions. Empathy is seen as the higher psychic function and as an ability. The working model of empathy as an ability, which is based on the methodological principles of the Russian tradition of the research and development of abilities is proposed (V.D. Shadrikov). The specificity of empathy in helping professional’s activities and existing methods of «professional empathy» development are analyzed. The empathy professionalization concept as a necessary interconnected development of motivational, operational and functional components of the empathic abilities with regard to the conditions and requirements of a particular profession is substantiated.
