Technologies are keep evolving and growing where almost all activities and services such as in the area of trading, commerce and education can be completed via online.  Unfortunately, the funeral arrangement and handling service is still operating in the same process as it is done by our elderly before. Here, the proposed application will help user handling the funeral a lot faster and easier. I-JenzCare is a platform where the service provider and the user can match with one’s need on the funeral arrangement service. I-JenzCare is a unique idea because no similar application or system had been developed in related on a Muslim funeral handling yet in Malaysia. This study provides new values to the traditional Islamic funeral arrangement services which has been practiced in the Malay community. I-JenzCare which employs analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique just requires a medium-end smartphone to keep everything on the best user experience standard. In a nutshell, the system is a handy application for those who needs immediate assistance on funeral handling in Malaysia

Abstract Introduction The merchant marine fleet is under inspection by several parties to ensure maritime regulation compliance. International Maritime Organization mainly regulates the industry, and the most effective defender is indeed Port StateControl run by the regional memorandum of understandings. Objective This article aims to analyze all detention remarks of Paris Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) from 2013 to 2019 for EU15 countries (except Luxemburg and Austria) to guide marine industry on detainable Port State Control remarks and country risk profile. Methods The data of the detained vessels taken from the public website of Paris MOU and each report considered as a professional judgment that causes detention. Analytical Hierarchy Process Approach has been utilized to indicate the ranking of basic maritime regulations from the perspective of the Port State Control, and Geographic Information System (GIS) helps us to demonstrate the regional dispersion amongst EU15. Results Through an approach based on Analytical Hierarchy Process and demonstrating the results on GIS has been shown that almost all the country’s top priorities for regulation are Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and Fire Safety Systems (FSS). Moreover, a comparative demonstration of the detention percentage of each regulation to AHP results demonstrates a better understanding of EU15 countries' detention profile. Conclusion The results of the study can assist Port State Officers, ship crew, ship owners, and managers in presenting the facts of their inspection and able to improve themselves. The spatial analysis is also expected to guide ship owners and managers to focus their vessel’s deficiencies on preventing sub-standardization. Policymakers also utilize these reports to evaluate their inspection practices.

With increasing social awareness on the issue of corporate social performance (CSP), the measurement of CSP has received considerable attention in both academic literature and managerial practice. Though earlier literature provides several methods for measuring corporate social activities, almost all of them have some limitations. In this paper, we propose a methodology for the development of a systematic measure of CSP based on fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP). In addition, a preliminary investigation is presented to explain how the approach can help in evaluating CSP in practice.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a serious impact in almost all fields, including Islamic boarding schools and their owners, kiai. The government has helped Islamic boarding schools as institutions, but not to kiai personally. This study aims to provide answers to whether or not it is necessary to provide social assistance to kiai personally, so that it can be used as input to stakeholders. This study uses the Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) method, analyzing the aspects of the benefits and costs of providing social assistance to kiai and how these two things touch based on the perceptions of expert opinion. Data processing was carried out based on the results of a questionnaire conducted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model which was distributed to expert respondents. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to provide social assistance to kiai personally.

At present, there is much difficulty in choosing appropriate logistic outsourcing service for enterprises, which may even result in logistic failures. One major reason for that is the lack of strong theoretical guidance in logistic outsourcing and in the choosing of a service provider that is adapted to the enterprises development. To solve this problem, this paper constructs the indexes system of service provider choice and evaluation based on the following four aspects: logistic cost, logistic operational efficiency, service provider’s individual quality and capability. The analytic hierarchy process is used in the selection of service provider. And company Z is taken as an example in the calculation. By doing so, this paper constructs a comparatively integrated framework for the selection of logistic outsourcing service provider, perfects the evaluation system of it and provides enterprises with a set of scientific evaluation methods in choosing service provider.

Abstract As a subject of scientific investigation, evaluations of the attractiveness of tourist destinations have had a relatively long history, particularly among geographers and regional economists. Based on mathematical and psychological principles and using methods that combine the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Preference Ranking Organization Method for Enrichment Evaluation (PROMETHEE) approach, this research project constructs an evaluation structure used for the assessment of European coastal and offshore areas for sailing tourism. A case study with a three-level evaluation structure has been defined and tested. It contains: at the top of the hierarchy an overall objective defined as the attractiveness of the European coastal and offshore areas for sailing tourism; six criteria of evaluation (on the second level); and ten coastal areas (at the bottom level). This structure covers almost all the coasts around Europe, as they were the subjects of evaluation and comparison. The evaluation was carried out by a group of experts who made the assessment taking into account previously determined criteria with weights. The findings indicate that the AHP-PROMETHEE method may be a useful tool to evaluate the attractiveness of different destinations. It can be also used for practical purposes, particularly to determine strengths and weaknesses, as well as the competitive position, of given coastal areas in relation to others.

Plant genetic improvement may be done traditionally by selecting the most appropriate genotypes based on heritability, stability, genetic distance and other genetic parameters. In this paper, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) with some modifications was used as a new multivariate method for determining the capability of elite tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) genotypes to form the next-generation breeding population. Modified AHP is performed in three steps: (i) aligning traits and genotypes, (ii) calculating weights of traits, and (iii) calculating weights of genotypes. Fruit quality and yield were evaluated in 20 F2 tomato families cultured along with their parents in a randomised complete block design with three replications in the research field. The traits fruit yield, plant cluster number and fruit number per plant were identified as the most effective for ordering genotypes. Four families were identified as the best (selection among families), and the best individuals selected from a total of 60 individuals (selection within families) almost all belonged to these four families. Because of the use of genetic parameters in modified AHP, the selected genotypes were the best choices with respect to fruit yield, lycopene content and capability to create a breeding population.

Post-harvest loss is a risk that can be faced by almost all agricultural commodities, including edamame. Post-harvest loss can be a potential loss for farming. This study aims to identify the risk of edamame post-harvest loss at PT. Mitra Tani Dua Tujuh Jember, as well as formulating its control strategy. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method to analyze the risk of post-harvest loss, integrated with the fishbone diagram to identify the risk causes. To formulate a risk control strategy used the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, which refers to the Pugh method to determine the strategic concept. The results showed that the most critical risks that need serious attention in edamame production are the emergence of pests and diseases. Pests and diseases that attack edamame plants have a high impact severity. Pests and diseases quite often attack edamame plants, and their presence is difficult to detect. The appropriate strategy for controlling pests and diseases in edamame is vegetable pesticides. The use of vegetable pesticides is easier, more efficient, cheaper, more effective, and easier to obtain than chemical pesticides. Keywords: analytical hierarchy process, edamame, failure mode and effect analysis, post-harvest loss, risk management

So many cases of crime have occurred in the parking area. Because this causes many losses, ways are needed to avoid it happening again. One of the efforts that can be done in preventing the occurrence of crime in the parking area is by applying security aspects with the concept of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and applying safety aspects that examine security aspects in preventing crime in the environment of human activities in a design approach. Environmental and safety aspects. In this study, the method used is descriptive qualitative to obtain factual and systematic data. The data is processed using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method with the help of software, namely Super Decision, to get the value of each CPTED component for motorcycle parking facilities. The value of the study of applying the CPTED concept theory for security and safety aspects in the Podomoro Mall motorcycle parking area shows that the elements of the CPTED concept and safety aspects in the motorcycle parking area have not been fully implemented. However, overall security and safety in this parking area are guaranteed because almost all the variables available at this location already meet existing standards. The riders feel safe and secure when they are in this parking area even though some aspects are not met. It could be improved would be much better. The results of this study are expected to be helpful in the field of architecture, especially in crime.
