The article presents various methods of shaping cylindrical spiroid worm gear of asymmetrical outline using two tools. Cutting thread of worm gears is made on CNC lathes with blades in the form of universal inserts. Shows the geometric model and technological machining cylindrical worm gear spiroid on a CNC lathe. The correctness of the test results obtained in numerical developed program was tested through experimental studies of the process of cutting worm gears given parameters. Cutting process of worm gears was made on a lathe CTX210 using overlay ShopTurn in module for threading. The process uses a standard turning tool with interchangeable inserts and turning tools with a specially designed geometry. Studies performed on various cutting parameters and for a various materials of cutting inserts.

Within a research project, experimental investigations of large-sized worm gears (pairing steel worm with bronze worm wheel) with centre distance a = 315 mm are carried out. The primary aim is to gain verified knowledge regarding load-carrying capacity and efficiency for this worm gear size. The paper describes the conducted tests in detail and shows basic examples of experimental test results. In the course of these investigations, an overall worm gearbox efficiency of up to η = 96% is measured.

The article compares two cutting edge preparation methods and their influence on the machined surface roughness of the difficult to cut nickel alloy Inconel 718 and the tool wear of cutting inserts made of cemented carbide. The manufacturing and preparation process of cutting inserts used in the experiment were made by Dormer Pramet. The preparation methods used in the experiment were drag finishing and brushing. Cutting parameters did not change during the whole turning process to maintain the same conditions in each step of the process and were determined based on tests for a semi-finishing operation of the turning process. To obtain durability of 25 to 30 minutes with controlled development of the tool wear the cutting parameters were determined with cooperation with the cutting inserts manufacturer.

The formulae of classical hydrodynamics are not suitable for the calculation of load capacity and power loss of worm gear drives. Thus a theoretical basis had to be developed for the comparison of different tooth profiles, materials of worm and worm wheel and lubricants. The data obtained were compared with test results. It proved that the coefficient of friction is an important influence factor.

AbstractIntroduction: Infant massage is a touch therapy oldest known to the public. Infant massage is one of the communication between mother and child is communication through touch. Infant massage has been known to man for a long time and reduced down - generations. Age 1-12 months is a period of rapid growth that is traversed by the child, including motoric development. Infant massage can provide a stimulus to promote weight and to increase motoric development.The purpose: Of this study was to correlate of infant massage and motoric development in infants aged 1-12 months in District Pundungsari Bulu Sukoharjo.The subjects: Were mother with infants aged 1-12 months, in the District Pundungsari. Sampling is done with total sampling technique. They are 33 sample in this research.Methods: This study was a non-experimental studies, correlation approach. Data obtained by the method of questionare, which is mother has filled the questionare about baby massage in infants aged 1-12 months and motoric development. The data have been collected and analyzed by chi square with p= 0.05. The research found that respondents do baby massage with continue and not continue and motoric development found delayed, normal and advance. After the test results obtained chi square p 0.000 to p <0.05, which means Ha accepted and Ho rejected.The conclusion: Of this study is infant massage correlate with motoric development in infants aged 1-12 months in District Pundungsari Bulu Sukoharjo.Keywords: Infant massage, motoric development

<p>Steel-concrete composite twin I-girder bridges have been built a lot in both Europe and Japan, but the lack of redundancy has always been a concern in U.S. and many other countries. In addition, few experimental studies have been performed on the mechanical performance of such bridges, particularly for the intact bridges. On this background, a steel-concrete composite twin I-Girder bridge model was designed according to the current highway bridge design specification in Japan and tested in the laboratory. The static loading tests were performed, and two loading conditions including both symmetrical loading and unsymmetrical loading were applied. Load versus deflection relationships were measured in the loading test, and the failure mode of the test specimen was discussed. The flexural strain development on bottom flanges of two main girders was also reported in this paper to confirm the load transfer between two main girders. In addition, the theoretical results on the basis of the classic theory were also provided to compare with the test results. The comparison indicates that the theoretical analyses can predict the behaviour of the twin I-girder bridges very well in the elastic stage by considering the effective width of the slab. The load transfer paths in such bridges were also discussed on the basis of the test results under un-symmetrical loading.</p>

Spatial helical gears, worm gears with a cylindrical worm, globoid gears, etc., are widely used in most of modern engineering products [1-3; 37; 42]. Cylindrical worm gears are actively used in the creation of metalworking equipment (push mechanisms of rolling mills, presses, etc.), in lifting and transport machines, in drives and kinematic chains of various machine tool equipment where high kinematic accuracy is required (dividing machine tools, adjustment mechanisms), etc. In a worm gear a cylindrical worm or its cylindrical helical surface can be cut by various technological methods [49-51], but no matter how the shaping of the worm gear elements’ working surfaces is carried out, the worm wheel is cut with a gear cutting tool, whose producing surface coincides with the worm thread’s lateral surface [19; 22; 23]. In this regard, the working surface of the cylindrical worm wheel’s tooth, even with a non-orthogonal arrangement of axes, is an envelope of a one-parameter family of surfaces that gives a linear contact, which presence makes it possible to transfer a large load using a worm gear. For high-quality manufacturing of worm gears, it is necessary to design and manufacture a productive gear cutting tool - an accurate worm cutter, whose shaping (working) surface must be identical to the profiled worm’s shaping (working) surface [24-27; 54]. One of the most important tasks in the implementation of worm gearing is the problem of jamming of the cylindrical worm and the worm wheel’ contacting surfaces. This problem is excluded by relieving the contacting surfaces’ profile along the contact line. Considering that any violations of contacting surfaces’ geometric parameters affect the change in their geometric characteristics, the tasks of accurately determining the adjustment parameters of the technological equipment, used for shaping the worm and worm wheel, enter into in the foreground of the worm gearing elements production. In modern conditions of plant and equipment obsolescence, and in particular, of gear cutting machines used for worm gears manufacture, these machines physical wear, implies an inevitable decrease in the accuracy of their kinematic chains. Therefore, in order to maintain the produced gears’ quality at a sufficiently high level, it is necessary to use deliberate modification of contacting surfaces when calculating the worm gearing’s geometric parameters; such modification reduces the worm gear sensitivity to manufacturing and mounting errors of its elements [28-31].

Cement is the main constituent ingredient in concrete. Now days many investigations undergone for substitute of cement due to green houses effect and global warming  .Many new products like rice husk ash, egg shell powder, baggage ash, etc are used as an effluent replacement material for cement. The new and Practical material for substitute of cement is water hyacinth ash .Water hyacinth ash (WHA), is used as an effectual replacement of partial cement, and it has been proved in several characteristics of concrete. The main important parameters in concrete are strength, durability and workability. In this paper, 10 % of cement replaced by water hyacinth ash   to investigate the effects of WHA on  durability and Strength  in concretes. On this basis, specimens were engrossed in water and acid to study the absorption property, acid attack and compared to conventional concrete. The test results show that replacement of cement by WHA in concrete has improved the parameters of concrete.
