The paper considers possibilities of geoinformation technology tools use for studying and updating the contribution of researchers-travelers to the formation of historical, cultural and scientific heritage of the Altai Krai and the Altai Republic in 18-19 centuries. Inevitably the heritage is a valuable resource for development of cultural, social and scientific component of the society. There is an urgent need to study and actualize historical heritage, find optimal ways of its adaptation to changing tendencies and demands of today. The theme of promoting heritage in the development of domestic educational tourism is a popular one. Recreation has long ceased to be seen only as passive, there is a growing interest in cognitive tourism. Each region seeks to preserve and present its historical and cultural peculiarities, connections with outstanding personalities, to assess their contribution to the development of the territory. Geographic information systems (GIS) are the main tool of this study. They have functions of displaying information in a visual form, as well as allow a comprehensive and systematic storage and processing of data in a spatial and temporal context. Geoinformation mapping in the study and actualization of personal contribution to the study of the region will allow to establish travel routes, research discoveries, collections, publications, which in the 18-19 centuries contributed to the study of the territory of the Altai Krai and the Altai Republic. These territories are united by a common rich past. A new look at the heritage will allow to develop research knowledge about the history and culture of the regions as well as undoubtedly contribute to the development and enrichment of tourist products.

The Internet is filled with opportunities for learning, communicating, and sharing information. It is a valuable resource for children and adults alike. Like any large community, however, the online world presents some underlying risks, especially for children. Parents need to be aware of some of the potential problems their children could encounter, and try to take adequate measures to protect their children from injury. In this paper, research will try to explore the relationship between parent’s information literary, the confidence in child’s ability of self-defense on the internet, and adequate measures to promote child using the internet more effectively. Association rules, a kind of data mining strategies, will be the main tool to manipulate the dataset. Apriori, a classic algorithm for learning association rules, is designed to operate on databases containing transactions.

The paper presents the results of the study of finds originating from the destroyed burial in the village of Baragash (the Shebalino district, the Altai Republic), located in the upper reaches of the Peschanaya river. The burial was destroyed in 2015 during the digging of a trench for the water supply, which passed approximately through the center of the burial mound. During the inspection of the mound, the employees of the Agency for Cultural and Historical Heritage of the Altai Republic collected details of horse equipment, jewelry, household items and weapons. The burial contained bone arrowheads, a bead, plaques made of gold foil, bronze clips, a painted ceramic vessel, a whetstone, and a horn cheekpiece. Fragmentary information about the structural features of the destroyed object, as well as the analysis of items allows us to establish that the complex belongs to the Pazyryk culture of the Scythian time of Altai. The horn cheekpiece found in the burial, decorated with the heads of a wolf and a bird of prey, as well as bronze clips, make it possible to establish the attributing of the object to an early group of Pazyryk sites. The absolute dating of the complex can be tentatively established by the end of the 6th – 5th centuries BC.

The article discusses a relevant topic related to the study and popularization of regional tourism by means of geoinformational technologies. In connection with the growing interest from the state and regional authorities, this issue is raised in the context of socio-economic and cultural development. An important aspect of this is the development of educational tourism routes, aimed, inter alia, the promotion of historical and cultural heritage of the region. The study is focused on the interdisciplinary nature of the work due to the application of methods and technologies, primarily geoinformational systems (GIS), which are focused on reflecting the spatial features of objects. Foreign and domestic researchers are using GIS technology to create a tourist-recreational type of software product that reflects the infrastructure needed in this industry. Some of the completed projects are available online. The Altai Territory has great prospects in terms of the development of educational tourism. GIS “Museum Network of the Altai Territory” allows you to identify the typology, group affiliation and cognitive capabilities of the museum network of the region, take into account the spatial distribution of objects relative to existing tourist routes. Taking into account the existing recreational opportunities of the territory, the GIS toolkit allows you to identify the potential for developing new tourist routes with the inclusion of museums, positioning museums as objects for independent visits by tourists located in recreation areas adjacent to museums. Final target of the project involves online access to GIS and thematic maps. This will allow receiving up-to-date information on tourist routes, museums, as potential objects of visit, and will make it possible to build a route taking into account the individual needs of tourists.

The main goal of the manuscript is an attempt to show that contemporary trends in tourism are based on forms in which cognitive, adventure and educational tourism is becoming more and more important. All these forms are based on the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the regions. In Poland, “krajoznawstwo” is an important trend, which for years has been based on the educational, cognitive and active tourism functions. It turns out that it is very difficult to find an equivalent of this word in English, but the message "get to know your country" can be carried out anywhere, in any part of the world. We decided to use the word "touring" in the text.

To better prepare the professionals and scholars of tomorrow in the field of communication sciences and disorders (CSD), a research project in which undergraduate students collected and analyzed language samples of child-parent dyads is presented. Student researchers gained broad and discipline-specific inquiry skills related to the ethical conduct of research, the literature review process, data collection using language assessment techniques, language sample analysis, and research dissemination. Undergraduate students majoring in CSD developed clinical research knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for future graduate level study and professional employment. In addition to the benefits of student growth and development, language samples collected through this project are helping to answer research questions regarding communicative turn-taking opportunities within the everyday routines of young children, the effects of turn-taking interactions on language development, and the construct validity of language sampling analysis techniques.
