The collection instrument was an interview whose script was elaborated by experts opinion. The data analysis method data contained in transcribed recordings was Bardin’s (2016) Content Analysis - AC whose categorization was given a priori and a posteriori. Triangulation arose from the ethical need to confirm the validity of processes inherent in research. It was verified that the teachers’ continuous formation of the “generic” form that is performed, that is, for large groups, does not satisfy them, losing the particularity of each team and its school context. The research presents indications that on site training could both satisfy teachers’ wishes and enable improvements in the effective teaching-learning process. Keywords: Teaching Practice. Abstract Trainees in teacher training programmes experience a variety of courses focusing on helping them to master the basic skills as future language teachers. The most important issue in the entire training is the appropriate balance between the input they receive from the trainer and the hands-on experience in which they learn through experience. One of the best hands-on activities during teacher training is indisputably teaching practice, i.e. real experience of trainees in the school context. Teaching practice offers to trainees first experience with teaching English lessons with holding responsibility for planning, carrying out the lessons as well as learning from this experience, maintaining a good rapport with students and many other aspects. Since trainees work in the external setting without the presence of their Methodology course trainers, it is often a custom to ask trainees to keep a portfolio with lesson plans or material they used during teaching as well as some reflections on the first teaching experience, so that the trainers could create a picture of how their trainees succeeded “out there”. Such a portfolio serves as a useful tool not only for the trainee since the portfolio offers a record of how they managed to carry out specific duty at a specific time; portfolio of this type can provide the trainer with a plastic picture of how trainee managed to apply what they had learned in their Methodology courses. There are many elements which can be included in the teaching practice portfolio such as lesson plans, reflections, various case studies, textbook evaluations, sample teaching aids prepared by the trainee, etc. However, the biggest benefit that portfolio provides the trainee with is the reflection itself – thinking about how successfully something has been mastered and thinking about how things could be done better. EPOSTL (European Portfolio for Student Teachers of Languages) where trainees focus on self-evaluation of their own teaching skills is one of the tools that can help to focus the trainee on specific skill the teacher needs to master. This article tries to answer the question whether trainees are aware of the beneficial effects of such reflection, whether they perceive a tool like the EPOSTL as something that can help them to develop or they consider it rather a duty to be carried out as a part of training. Based on the experience with a group of trainees who used EPOSTL during their teaching practice this case study analyses possible strengths and weaknesses of including such a complex material as EPOSTL in pre-service teacher training.

Theoretically, it is now understood as something that is inherent to teaching-learning processes, and whose function must always be diagnostic, regarding the individual particularities. In practice, however, there are many questionable aspects, among them the emotional state in which the student gets involved by the time of the evaluation and that interferes on his or her performance. When approaching this theme, this study is based on an exploratory research with three students from a High Education School in Belo Horizonte, which aimed to analyze the different kind of emotions high education students reveal when taking a summative evaluation. The results have shown the presence of negative emotions during High Education Evaluation Process, justified by the threatening, classificatory and punishing atmosphere that it brings. Keywords: School Learning Evaluation. This study aims to present the plurality of the teacher’s perception, which emerges from the actions taken to minimize the difficulties that come up in remote education. Its relevance is found in the actions and reactions of those involved, and make up possibilities for generating public policies that motivate and foster quality education. The following research question guided this work: What lessons could be learned by those involved in their teaching practice after schools reopen? An exploratory research was carried out, by choosing the methodological approach of qualitative research. Data collection was performed using an online questionnaire, directed to teachers who worked in the classroom and started working in remote education. Sharing knowledge is complex and demands a variety of actions, interventions, processes that, however sophisticated the technology used, it certainly does not allow to develop all the strategies that the teacher uses in the classroom. Technologies help with physical distance. But we believe the exchange that happens naturally between teacher and student, and between student and student, exists only when everyone is in the same physical environment, under the same physical and human conditions, especially in basic education. The lessons learned: (i) improve our training or post-training with the introduction of disciplines related to digital and technological means; (ii) understand that remote education is a possibility to be applied in our teaching practice; (iii) include viable teaching, learning and assessment alternatives in the Political Pedagogical Project; (iv) at parent-teacher conferences or class meetings, seek to collect all possible observations, both positive and negative. We need to considerate new routes, minimize the questions that arise during practice, in order to adapt to the new technological strategies of the art of teaching.

ABSTRACT The importance of creating opportunities and means for the students to reflect on their own teaching practice is clearly seen in the results obtained by the students majoring in English at the University of Holguin. These students like the language and cherish the idea of becoming translators and interpreters but do not think the same about becoming teachers. It is, therefore, a hard task to motivate them to learn as much as possible from their practical teaching experience and seek for pre-professional development. Making the student- teachers aware of their strengths and weaknesses by a continuous reflection process on the teaching-learning process outcomes has proven its effectiveness. The results of a pilot study applied during the last three years are presented in this paper. KEYWORDS: pre-service teaching practice; self-reflection; teacher development.

This article aims to discuss Formative Assessment as a relevant tool for the enhancement of teaching-learning from the perspective of a teacher and 10 (ten) students of a fourth year class of the Integrated Modality of the Federal Institute of Bahia campus Vitória da Conquest. Based on authors such as Perrenoud (1999), Luckesi (2005) and Guerra (2017) we conducted a qualitative exploratory research, with data production based on objective questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. We could perceive through the analysis of the data produced that Formative Assessment enhances teaching-learning and promotes the improvement of teaching practice, generating a collaborative learning environment, through the interaction between teachers and students, even improving the relationship between all involved in the educational process.
