As with many disciplines, the fields of healthcare in general and medicine, in particular, have made vast strides in improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. But, have healthcare professionals and medical academia been able to maximize the utilization of new technologies to improve the delivery of the right knowledge, to the right people, at the right time across geographical boundaries? In order to provide the best quality of care, regardless of patient or provider location, specific issues must be addressed.

Background: The decrease in the manual activity of hemiparetic children, affects their functionality and independence. Among the therapies used to improve manual function, there is Induced Contention Therapy (ICT) and functional bandaging (FB). Such approaches aim to improve the use and decrease the disuse learned from the upper limb in subjects with hemiparesis. Objective: Identify the effect of ICT, associated with the application of functional bandaging on the affected upper limb, in the function of the upper limb and on the handgrip of a child with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy. Methods: A 5-year-old child received ICT for three hours daily for three consecutive weeks associated with FB in the right upper limb. The use of the upper limb was evaluated using the Pediatric Upper Extremity Motor Activity Log (PMAL) scale, the acquisition of new motor standards using the Inventory of New Motor Activities and Program (INMAP) scale, the motor skill by the Pediatric Arm Functional Test (PAFT) and the handgrip strength by the dynamometer. Results: There was an improvement in the quantity and quality of use of the paretic upper limb after the application of ICT, which remained after one month of therapy. In addition, it was observed the acquisition of new motor skills and improvement in handgrip strength. Conclusion: This study had a potential positive effect on handgrip strength, functionality and quality of use of the paretic upper limb of a child with spastic CP after the application of ICT associated with functional bandaging.

It is difficult to think of a situation where businesses can do well without the use of modern office technology, in particular, items like computers and telephones. It is extremely difficult to determine if businesses depend on technology or if technology creates business opportunities. Modern office technology is correlated with positive change in management performance. Using a quantitative approach, 67 questionnaires were sent to middle and upper-level business managers in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Modern office technology makes significant difference in a workplace. Office technologies enhance performance and this can only be seen if the office is equipped with relevant and needed technologies. There is a strong correlation between the right use of office technologies and positive change in management performance. It is recommended that office managers still procure modern office technology to increase performance. The challenge is to harness this newly emerging technology for the benefit of the business. This study concludes that technological advancement has a positive effect on our quality of life and the way we do business, and this trend is expected to keep escalating

Problem setting. According to the data as of 01.01.2020 in the register of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) are registered 8850 applications filed against Ukraine, which is 14.8% of the total number of applications. And although Ukraine took 3rd place (in 2017 Ukraine ranked first) in the number of complaints against it to the ECtHR, after Russia (15,050 complaints) and Turkey (9,250 complaints), it should be noted that a significant number of complaints, namely 40 complaints are still in breach of Article 3 of the ECHR (prohibition of torture or inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment). Thus, the correct interpretation and understanding of the concepts used in Article 3 of the ECHR is very important for Ukraine, it is related both to the quality of adopted laws and to the practice of the authorities, especially law enforcement and courts. Analysis of recent researches and publications. The research of certain aspects of the interpretation of the concepts of Article 3 of the ECHR was studied by the following Ukrainian legal scholars: Orlova O.O., Trykhlib H., Tsebenko S., Okhota Y., Shishkina E., Rabinovych P. , Pushkar P., Fuley T., Chervyatsova A. Target of research is interpretation of the concepts used in Article 3 of the Convention on the basis of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, for their proper understanding and application. Conclusions and prospects for the development. Thus, the prohibitions in Article 3 of the ECHR are absolute and unconditional. Prohibition of torture or inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment is one that contains no exceptions, regardless of the situation in which the person is. This norm is an imperative norm and clearly reflects the basic (fundamental) values of a democratic society, and any violation of it by the international community is considered a gross violation of human rights. Everyone has the right to be treated with dignity by others, regardless of individual characteristics, circumstances or place (in hospitals, at large, in places of imprisonment). Everyone should be aware of the inadmissibility of such actions, and these prohibitions should not only be declared, but also implemented. In general, the ECtHR has a positive effect on respect for human rights in Ukraine and is a real mechanism for protecting citizens in many cases.

For the optimal choice of metal-cutting equipment for the production of parts of various industries, in particular metal-cutting machines, various studies, including marketing, are required. Improving the quality of manufactured products is achieved by creating and selecting size ranges (ranges) of metal-cutting equipment that fully satisfy current and future consumer demands. The total cost of ownership to optimize the selection of metal cutting equipment is an element of marketing research. Optimizing your total cost of ownership will help you make the right decision when purchasing equipment.

Greening of roads contributes to the protection of roads and their elements from influence of adverse weather and climatic factors; it includes the measures for improvement and landscaping of roads, ensures the protection of roadside areas from transport pollution, provides visual orientation of drivers. The solution of these issues will ensure creation and maintenance of safe and comfortable conditions for travelers. Green plantings in the right-of-way road area include woody, bushy, flower and grass vegetation of natural and artificial origin. For proper operation of public roads and satisfaction of other needs of the industry, there may be the need in removing the greenery. The reason for the removal of greenery in the right-of-way road area may be due to the following factors: construction of the architectural object, widening of the motor road, repair works in the security zone of overhead power lines, water supply, drainage, heating, telecommunications facilities, cutting of hazardous, dry and fautal trees, as well as self-grown and brushwood trees with a root neck diameter not exceeding 5 cm, elimination of the consequences of natural disasters and emergencies. The removal of plantations in the right-of-way area is executed in order to ensure traffic safety conditions and to improve the quality of plantations composition and their protective properties. Nowadays, in Ukraine there is no clear procedure for issuing permits for removing of such plantations. In order to resolve this issue, there is a need in determining the list of regulations in the area of forest resources of Ukraine and, if needed, the list of regulatory acts that have to be improved; to prepare a draft of the regulatory legal act that would establish the procedure of plantations cutting, the methodology of their condition determination, recovery costs determination, the features of cutting. Keywords: plantations, cutting, right-of-way, woodcutting permit, order.
