Women giving birth in in-patient maternity units are required to complete certain education. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of prompting on post-partum women’s education engagement (time from assignment to completion) while testing the feasibility of staff nurses assisting in research. A quasi-experimental design was used with 141 women allocated by admission date to one of three groups (usual care and two intervention) between September 2014 and December 2015. Intervention group I women were quickest to engage in their education and had the shortest length of stay. Significance was found for academic attainment ( df = 1, F = 6.218, p = .014), partial eta squared = 0.053 and R2 = 0.124. Women who had attended college engaged more quickly in all groups than those who had not. This statistically significant finding indicates how nurses can identify patients needing more assistance. Nurses reported no adverse effects on care.

Background: Based on data in the public health centre (Puskesmas). The ratio between the number of nurses  and the number of population is irrational, so that the human resources need to be managed properly.Purpose: To analyze of work environment on job satisfaction of public health centre (Puskesmas) staff nurses related self-efficacyMethods:  This research was conducted from March 2020 to June 2020. The data used are primary data, the data  collection method uses the survey method, uses a saturate sample, where the sample is totally the number of 15  nurses as respondents. The method of analysis uses multiple linear regressionResults: Showing that the self-efficacy and work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction either partially or simultaneously.Conclusion: Management of public health centres (Puskesmas)  must be able to maintain and improve nurses' self-efficacy and working conditions so that nurses will feel satisfied at work. Job satisfaction taken by nurses will result in professional and optimal service.

Reports that new nurse graduates are not sufficiently prepared to enter the workforce are of concern to educators, employers, and other stakeholders. Often, this lack of 'practice readiness' is defined in relation to an inability to 'hit the ground running' and is attributed to a 'gap' between theory and practice and the nature of current work environments. To gain a deeper understanding of the process of making the transition from student to graduate nurse, discussion groups were held across Alberta with 14 new graduates and 133 staff nurses, employers, and educators. Five additional new graduates and 34 staff nurses, employers, and educators provided input by fax or e-mail. The findings of this initiative speak to the need to examine assumptions underlying 'practice readiness' and what constitutes an effective transition to the workplace. The problems to be addressed are complex and a wide range of sustainable, evidence-based approaches are required to resolve them.

The leadership and motivation styleis an essential factor in supporting the performance of nurses. The study was undertaken to determine the correlation between the leadership style to the job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among the head nurses and staff nurses from the government and private hospitals in Serang, Banten, Indonesia. The study used descriptive corelational design. The samples were limited, involving 289 respondents from dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital, Serang (18 head nurses and 183 staff nurses) and Sari Asih Hospital, Serang (6 head nurses and 82 staff nurses). The study found a low positive relationship of the head nurses' transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style against the staff nurses' job satisfaction, r-coefficients of 0.370 and 0.485, respectively. Also, a moderate positive correlation was found on transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style of the head nurses against the organizational commitment of the staff nurses, rcoefficient of 0.606 and 0.609, respectively. It suggested that the staff nurses should be more responsive to the duty inseparable from the rights and obligations as an employee while the head nurse needs to pay attention to physical readiness, mental and psychological of subordinates.
