As organization grows and develops in dynamic globalization, employee is a valuable asset for organization and the need for qualified human resources is increases. The purpose of this research is aims to examine the influence of  Administrative Competence, Social Capital and Performance to Employee Career of Mercu Buana University, using path analysis method in quantitative approach. Sample of this research was 185 employees of Mercu Buana University. Result of this research indicates that there is direct effect of competence to employee career which values 0,259, there is direct effect of performance to employee career which values 0,218, there is direct effect of social capital to employee career which values 0,213, there is direct effect of competence to performance which values 0,342, there is direct effect of social capital to performance which values 0,300. Thus it can be explained that the most direct influence to Employee Career and Performance is Competence.

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine the direct and indirect effect of profitability on firm value using capital structure as a mediator. This involves using panel data from 44 companies listed on LQ45 as of 31st December 2015-2018 and analyzed using the path analysis method including Sobel Test and Bootstrapping technique. The results showed a positive and significant direct effect of profitability on firm value while the indirect effect using capital structure as a mediator between the two variables was found to be negative and significant. Moreover, the direct influence of capital structure on firm value was discovered to be negative and significant while the introduction of profitability variables in the relationship led to a positive and significant influence. Similarly, the direct effect of profitability on firm value using capital structure as the controlling variable was also found to be positive and significant.Keywords: firm value, capital structure, profitabilityPengaruh Profitabilitas Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan dengan Struktur Modal Sebagai MediatorAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh langsung profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan pengaruh tidak langsung melalui struktur modal sebagai mediator. Menggunakan data panel dari 44 perusahaan yang tercatat di LQ45 per tanggal 31 Desember selama periode 2015 sampai 2018. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis jalur (Path Analysis), dengan Teknik Sobel Test dan Bootsrapping. Hasil riset membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung yang positif dan signifikan antara profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun, jika dilihat secara tidak langsung pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan melalui struktur modal sebagai mediator adalah negatif dan signifikan. Selanjutnya, pengaruh langsung profitabilitas terhadap struktur modal adalah negatif dan signifikan. Sementara ketika dikontrol oleh variabel profitabilitas, pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan positif dan signifikan. Begitu pula dengan pengaruh langsung profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan mengontrol variabel struktur modal juga positif dan signifikan.Kata kunci: nilai perusahaan, struktur modal, profitabilitas

As benefits an organization, one of the strategic functions play an important role in banking is its human resources. This aim of the research was to find out the significant influence of compensation and job satisfaction on employee performance through job motivation, either directly or indirectly. The objectof the research were bank employees in Merauke City. The data consisted of primary data obtained using questionnaire give to respondents related to compensation, job satisfaction, motivation and performance of employees. The data were analyzed using quantitative approach through path analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of the research indicate that (1) compensation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on job motivation, (2) compensation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on employees performance. (3) compensation indirectly has a positive and significant influence on employees performance through job motivation, and (4) job satisfaction indirectly has a positive and significant influence on employess performance through job motivation of bank employees' in Merauke City.

This study discusses the problems that exist in one of the MSMEs in Bangkalan, namely KUB Bejrah Ghunah, the phenomenon in this company is good positioning but sales turnover according to the brand used has a bad perception in the minds of consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of positioning on purchasing decisions mediated by brand image. This study uses a quantitative approach with path analysis method, with a total of 100 respondents. The results showed that 1) positioning had a significant effect on purchasing decisions with tcount of 7.959 t table, namely 1.9847 with a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05. 2) positioning has a significant effect on brand image with the value of t count is 8.957 t table is 1.9847 with a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05. 3) Brand image has a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a tcount of 6.294 t table, namely 1.9847 with a significance level of 0.000 less than 0.05. 4) Positioning has a direct effect on purchasing decisions without going through brand image as a mediating variable with an effect value of 0.485.

Associated with the performance of employees, the results showed that there is an influence of competence on performance, there is the influence of transformational leadership on performance, there is the influence of social capital on performance. In the case of employee career, the result of research indicate that there is influence of competence to career of employee, there is influence of employee career performance, there is influence of social capital to career of employee. The result of path analysis gives a structural equation Y = 0,258X1 + 0,213X2 + 0,229X3 + 0,416X4 + 0,36. Thus it can be explained that the most direct influence on Employee Career is a Performance variable of 41.6%, while the Competence variable of 25.8% and social capital variable of 22.9%. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of distributive justice onperformance appraisal to work performance through performance appraisal satisfaction (study onPT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya). This type of research is a causality research studies, with thequantitative approach. This research was using simple random sampling. This research used asample of 137 respondents was drawn from employees of PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya inProduction Department. The result was based on path analysis method showed that there was asignificant direct effect distributive justice on performance appraisal to performance appraisalsatisfaction and performance appraisal satisfaction to work performance. But there was notsignificant direct effect distributive justice of performance appraisal on work performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the direct effect and indirect influence of a variable. The research data was processed and analyzed using path analysis method. Conclusions are obtained (1) There is a significant direct effect of intelligence numeric on the results of formative tests; (2) There is a significant direct effect of learning discipline on the results of formative tests; (3) There is a significant direct effect of learning motivation on the results of formative tests; (4) There is a significant direct effect of intelligence numeric on learning motivation; (5) There is a significant direct influence of intelligence numericalon learning discipline; (6) There is a significant direct effect of learning discipline on learning motivation; (7) There is no significant indirect effect of intelligence numeric on motivation to learn through learning discipline; (8) There is no significant indirect effect of intelligence numeric on the results of formative tests through learning discipline; (9) There is no significant indirect effect of intelligence numeric on the results of formative tests through learning motivation; and (10) There is no significant indirect effect of intelligence numeric on the results of formative tests through learning discipline and learning motivation.

This study is aimed to investigate the direct and indirect effect of the Quality of Human Resources, Work Professionalism and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at Dinas Pendidikan Hulu Sungai Selatan. This study approach is a quantitative approach. In this study, there are 27 employees as the population and they are taken as the sample by using census technique which the entire population is the same as the sample. The path analysis is used to analyze the data. The analysis result showed that the Quality of Human Resources and Work Professionalism have a direct effect on Employee Performance. Besides having a direct effect, the Quality of Human Resources and Work Professionalism also have an indirect effect on performance through Organizational Commitment.Simultaneously, the Quality of Human Resources, Work Professionalism and Organizational Commitment support the Employees Performance at Dinas Pendidikan Hulu Sungai Selatan.

The author deeply studied agricultural mechanization level from the year of 1994 to 2012 in Changsha with Path analysis method. The research found that the peasant cultural levels, rural labor transfer rate and the peasants' income level were the leading factors deciding on agricultural mechanization level in Changsha. The direct influence of arable land per capita was not great while its indirect contribution by other influence such as the peasant cultural levels and rural labor transfer rate. Finally constructive suggestions were put forward to give impetus to develop agricultural mechanization.

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of compensation, achievement motivation, and working ethic towards employee performance of Taufiqurrahman Foundation in Bekasi. The research was conducted using quantitative approach and method of survey. The size of population in this research is 100 employees at Taufiqurrahman Foundation. Reseach sample were selected as 66 employees using sample random sampling technique. The data obtained with questionaires and tests. The analiytical method used in data analyzing is path analysis technique.The result shows that compensation, achievement motivation, and working ethos have positif direct effect toward the employees performance of Taufiqurrahman Foundation in Bekasi. The findings lead to recommendation that in order to build compensation, achievement motivation and working ethic should be considered seriously.
