This is a study on the effect of work culture, employee empowerment, librarianship training and work ethics on employee performance at National Library of Indonesia in Jakarta, Bung Karno Library in Blitar, and Bung Hatta Library in Bukit Tinggi. This was a quantitative research using path analysis. The sampling technique is simple random sampling and a representative samples of 124 librarians. The data were collected using a Likert-type structured questionaire and the validity was tested using the Pearson Product Moment test analysis and Reliability test using Cronbach Alpha test. The result showed that (1) Work culture, employee empowerment, librarianship training and work ethic have direct positive effects on performance; 2. Work culture and employee empowerment have direct positive effects on work ethic; and 3. Employee empowerment has no direct positive effects on work ethics. The study also shows the importance of policy and chief regulation to strengthen the work culture, librarians’ empowerment equaty, and enhancement librarianship training.

The objective of this research is to determine the influence of the corporate culture, employee empowerment,  librarianship training and work ethics towards employee performance (case study in National Library of Indonesia) Jl. Salemba Raya 28 A Jakarta, UPT Bung Karno Library in Blitar, and UPT Bung Hatta Library in Bukit Tinggi. The research approach is using quantitave method with path analysis. This study aims to determine the effect of Situational Leadership and Work Ethics on Employee Performance through Organizational Climate as an Intervening Variable in Gowa Agricultural Development Polytechnic. The type of data used in this study is divided into two, namely qualitative and quantitative data. The population in this study were all State Civil Apparatus at the Gowa Agricultural Development Polytechnic, which until 2018 totaled 98 people. A sample of 98 employees based on the population. The sampling technique used is the nonprobability sampling method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of this study indicate that situational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational climate. The better the leader applies situational leadership, the better the climate for the organization will be and conducive. Good situational leadership will create a good organizational climate so that it will have an impact on increasing employee performance. Work ethic has a positive and significant effect on organizational climate. The better the work ethic that is owned by employees, it will support the creation of a good organizational climate. The better the work ethic that is owned by an employee it will lead to a good organizational climate, which has an impact on increasing employee performance.

<p><em>This research aimed to figure out the effects of competency, work placement, and career development on government officers' performance. This research used a descriptive-quantitative research design with a questionnaire as an instrument. The purposive sampling technique was used to extract a sample, which consisted of 250 respondents who were government officers from 26 local government agencies in the Yapen Islands Regency. This research employed a multiple regression analysis as the data analysis technique with SPSS version 25. The research results show that the variables competency and career development had significant positive effects on employee performance. In contrast, the variable work placement did not have any effect on employee performance.</em></p>

The main problem in this study was suboptimal employee performance in PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia, so that it was suspected that selection and placement affected employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia. The research type was quantitative research. The research population was 252 employees and the sample was 72 respondents sampled by simple random sampling technique and the data collection method used questionnaire. The data analysis was multiple regression analysis, t test and F test using SPSS 24. Based on the analysis result on the effect of selection on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia, there was no positive and significant effect. Therefore, h1 was rejected and h0 accepted. As for the effect of placement on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia, there was positive and significant effect. Therefore, h2 was accepted and h0 was rejected. Meanwhile, the effect of selection and placement on employee performance in the Jakarta Headquarter of Suzuki Finance Indonesia was positive and significant. Therefore, the hypothesis was proven.

ABSTRACTThis research addreses to determinate the effect of Islamic work ethics to employee performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta.The population in this study are all nurses RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta totaling 258 nurses. The sampling tehnique used purposive sampling method and sample obtained 75 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows Release 20.0.The dependent variable (Y) of this research is employee performance. The independent variable (X) Islamic work ethic and for intervening variables (Z) is job satisfaction. This method used is quantitative research methods. For the method of data analysis self are using path analysis.The results of this showed that: (1) the work ethic Islam is influence positively significant for the employee performance. (2) Islamic work ethics influenced positively significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) Job satisfaction has a positively significant on employee performance. (4) The Islamic work ethic influenced toward employee performance by means job satisfaction as intervening variable.Keywords: Islamic work ethic, job satisfaction, employee performance

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of professionalism and work ethics of employees on the quality of health services at the directorate general of railways, ministry of transportations. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an effect of professionalism and work ethic of employees together on the quality of health services at the Directorate General of Railways, Ministry of Transportation. This research method uses a survey with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. In this study, the number of samples was 72 respondents. The variables studied were professionalism (X1) and employee work ethics (X2) as independent variables, while the quality of health services was the dependent variable (Y). Based on the research results that have been done, it can be concluded that: The research results on the variables of professionalism and work ethic of employees together have a strong and significant positive influence on the quality of health services with a correlation coefficient of 0.799. While the resulting influence contribution (r²) is 0.638, meaning that the variables of professionalism and employee work ethic together contribute 56.0% in influencing the health service quality variable.

The facts that occur in the field show that the performance of government employees as public services still has not achieved the performance increased; based on the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report of the Kapuas Hulu Regency regional secretariat in 2012. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Interpersonal Skills on the Performance of the Kapuas Hulu Regency Regional Secretariat Staff. This study uses a quantitative research approach the method used is the survey method. The population in this study were all employees (civil servant status) who worked in the regional secretariat of Kapuas Hulu Regency, totaling 137 employees. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. Based on the results of sample calculations in this study there were 102 employees. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and statistical inferential. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis it can be concluded that Interpersonal Skills have a positive direct effect on employee performance. That is, improving employee performance at the Kapuas Hulu Regency Regional Secretariat can be done by increasing the interpersonal skills possessed by employees.

The objective of this study was to determine the influence of corporate culture in improving employees' performance at state-owned enterprise PT. Semen Padang, West Sumatra. This research used quantitative methods and was supported by qualitative data. Data were collected quantitatively from samples selected using Simple Random Sampling. Qualitative data was collected with observation and interview with purposive sampling technique. The population of PT. Semen Padang employees are 1924 people. The sample was calculated using Slovin's formula (error of 5%) and consisted of 331 samples. The initial hypothesis in this research consisted of seven hypotheses. This study found a significant influence of a corporate culture that consists of six variables of work culture in improving employees’ performance at PT. Semen Padang. This study also found other factors that affect employees' performance. This study offers managers at PT. Semen Padang the key to increasing their employees' performance. The essence of this study is to prove that there is a significant influence of corporate cultures in improving employees' performance.

The aim of this research is to know and to analyze the influence of work culture, work motivation and competency on employee's performance. The Objects are employees of  BJB bank at Ciamis, Garut and Tasikmalaya). The method used is descriptive. The sample was taken by using total sampling technique with total of the samples 89 people. By path analysis, the research found that work motivation with indicators internal and external motivation; work culture with indicators of Service excellence, Professionalism, Integrity, Respect, Intelligence, Trust included in the high category. Work motivation with indicators of internal motivation and external motivation is included in the sufficient category. Competencies with indicators of Work Quality, Cooperation, Responsibility and Quantity of work are included in the sufficient category. Employee performance with indicators of Work Quality, Discipline Behavior, Use of work time and Attendance are included in the sufficient category. There is a partial positive effect and simultaneous work culture, work motivation and competence on employee performance so that the hypothesis is verified. This means that if the strategy which includes work culture, work motivation and competence is increased, the performance of bank employees to Tasikmalaya, Garut and Ciamis will be better.
