The paper describes the ongoing educational project, which is focused on increasing the quality of teaching and making the study more attractive by introducing new selective courses: CNC technology in bachelor study programs and programming of CNC technology in engineering study programs at the Faculty of Technology of the Technical University in Zvolen, Slovakia. The solution of the project is also to create a background for building a CNC machining workplace. Teaching programming takes place in professional CNC emulators that are commonly used in praxis. These emulators allow program debugging, tests, trajectory drawing and optimising and collision checking of tool and workpiece. Altogether 23 students successfully completed the introduced course. Within the project solution, five theses were defended. Keywords: CNC programming, CNC simulators, teaching, innovation, workplace building.

Since the birth of massive open online courses (MOOC) in 2011, MOOC has developed rapidly all over the world. MOOC platform has developed from providing courses to providing social recognized degree certificates for learners. There are many MOOC platforms at home and abroad. Many scholars believe that MOOC is a destructive innovation form of education. Many famous schools have launched MOOC projects. After years of development, the platforms launch course combinations to meet the needs of learners and provide certification according to the market demand. MOOC is conducive to promoting teaching innovation, promoting the sharing of high-quality resources, improving the quality of teaching, expanding education services, and building a lifelong learning society. Learners should start from their own interests, choose suitable learning projects, actively, consciously and diligently complete online learning, so that MOOC learning can be effective and applied.

CNC programming is from the part drawings to get the whole process of NC program, the core of the work is to generate tool paths, and then dispersed into the knife sites generated by the NC post-processing program. As one of the key technologies of CNC machining, the preparation of the efficiency and quality of its programs largely determine the processing accuracy and production efficiency. Engineering approach of this research complex part features macro programming design.

Nowadays, the need for general development in the education of students is increasing. Implementation of social sciences to the curriculum of technical universities is a way to fulfil this concept. The paper focuses on the evaluation of the benefits of social sciences courses for students. The theoretical basis justifies the need for implementation of general subjects at a technical university in order to equip the graduates with professional and general key competencies for further professional and personal development. The paper attempts to find a connection between the quality of teaching and the benefits for students. A case study is based on the characteristics of teaching quality. It designs, develops and evaluates the criteria for assessing the quality of teaching in connection with the benefits of the courses. It provides a list of the most important criteria that influence the perception of social sciences benefits, e.g. motivation, relevance to the future work, contribution to the personal development, cultivation of intellectual skills, the relevance for technicians and others. The paper attempts to describe a mutual relationship between the criteria. The research revealed that the students appreciate the courses in which they feel a closer connection to the professional specialisation. Social sciences courses in a curriculum of a technical university represent an integral part of the humanisation of technical environment and they contribute to the cultivation of students.

Kata kunci : PTK, inkuiri, teori-praktik, peneliti pendampingAbstract : Classroom action research is one form of teacher inquiry activities to improve the quality of teaching processes and student learning achievements. There are three important characteristics of classroom action research (CAR) that should be known by teacher. First, it is conducted by teacher based on their awareness in relation to his/her teaching process. Second, it is a teacher’s inquiry activity which should be conducted through self reflection. Third, it is conducted by teacher as form of teaching innovation during his/her professional activities. In the efforts to developsteacher spirits and ability to proceeds classroom action research, therefore it is important to provide broad facility for teacher to be involved in lecturer’s research activities as co-researcher and to joint dissemination of scientific articles about theories and practices of the lassroom action research. Keywords : CAR, inquiry, theory-practices, co-researcher

This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete
picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent.
