Impressing discoveries in the field of the genetic code have been described by its researchers by means of the terminology borrowed from linguistics and the theory of communications. Leading experts on structural linguistics believe for a long time already that languages of human dialogue were formed not from an empty place, but they are continuation of genetic language or, anyhow, are closely connected with it, confirming the idea of information commonality of organisms. The aticle continues the theme about a connection of linquistic languages with the genetic language. It describes results of comparative study of long Russian literary texts (novels by L.Tolstoy, F.Dostoevsky, A.Pushkin, etc.) and long sequences of hydrogen bonds in double helixes of DNA of different organisms. Formalisms of quantum informatics are used in modeling some of these results taking into account thoughts of many researches about possible using principles of quantum informatics in organisation of living bodies.

Since Peter the Great’s visit in 1717, Paris has become an uncontestable symbolic place of cultural pilgrimage to his compatriots. Russian presence in Paris, especially the stays of men of letters, is well documented and was described in numerous travelogues, diaries, correspondence, and memoirs. For a long time, these accounts have remained a nearly unique source of information, quite uncertain and insufficient, creating myths and misunderstanding, leaving in the shadow the everyday life of Russian writers in Paris. This study suggests another perspective that emerges through examination of Parisian police reports. These papers shed new light on literary, social, and political activities of Russian writers in the French capital. Cases of Prince Antiochus Cantemir, Count Andrei Shuvalov, Denis Fonvizin, and Ivan Chemnitzer are presented as the most spectacular examples. The comparative analysis of police reports and the literary texts and personal writings by these four writers shows that French administrative staff, generally well-informed and well-read, had very little knowledge of Russian literary and cultural life. Therefore, travelers which were unfamiliar with the French savoir-vivre looked quite suspicious to them. At the same time, Russian writers used their life in Paris to promote themselves.

: Intercapillary research in mathematics and other pure sciences areas has always helped humanity quantify natural phenomena. This article also contributes to which valency-based topological indices are implemented on tetrahedral sheets of clay minerals. These indices have been used for a long time and are considered the most powerful tools to quantify chemical graphs. The atoms in the chemical compound and the bonds between the atoms are depicted as the graph’s vertices and edges, respectively. The valency (or degree) of a vertex in a graph is the number of edges incident to that vertex. In this article, various degree-based indices and their modifications are determined to check each types’ significance.

Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of an esophagoprotector in reducing the risk of recurrent symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients who requiring temporary cancellation of therapy with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Material and methods. For the prospective comparative study there were selectively chose patients who had been taking PPIs for a long time (at least one month) for the underlying disease and who required temporary discontinuation of antisecretory therapy due to objective medical reasons. The study included patients with endoscopically and/or pH-metrically verified GERD, as well as histologically verified Barrett's esophagus. In the process of randomization of patients, two equal groups were formed, depending on the therapy received at the time of PPI withdrawal: group 1 received antacids on demand, group 2 received antacids on demand, as well as the esophagoprotector Alfasoxx at a dose of 10 ml four times a day (after each meal and at night). The follow-up period was two weeks. The patients recorded episodes of heartburn in their personal diaries. Results. The study included 60 patients (28 men and 32 women). The average age of the examined patients was 43.1 ± 5.3 years. By the end of the two-week follow-up period, the frequency of recurrent symptoms in group 1 was 36.7%, while in group 2 it was 13.3%. The use of the esophagoprotector Alfasoxx contributed to the significant regression of the risk of heartburn recurrence (odds ratio 0.2657; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.07328-0.9637; p = 0.0438) in comparison with the group of patients who received only antacids in the on-demand mode. When analyzing the population of patients who had relapsed symptoms, it was demonstrated that the average number of heartburn episodes in group 1 was 6.18 (95% CI 4,1930-8,1706), and in group 2 – 4.50 (95% CI 0,7121-8,2879). Conclusion. This prospective comparative study demonstrated that the use of the esophagoprotector Alfasoxx helps to reduce the risk of relapse of GERD symptoms in patients requiring temporary cancellation of PPI therapy.

The narrative dates from a long time ago and the subject of its research was to study fundamental principles of narration. It is so old that the ideas of its structure have been developed in the ancient times. The etymology of the term "narrative", is derived from the Latin and its meaning is narration. This term was emerged in the literary studies as a result of novelist works by Roland Bart, Claude Bremann, Cvetan Todorov and others. In the twentieth century, many theories were created about the narrative, and in the same century, the main analytical components of narrative - story, sound, time, point of view, character, role were established.Narrative can be considered as a feature of postmodernism, because narrative sources take special significance in postmodernism. While researching modern literature a significant function is given to the variety of narrative usages. The aim of the theme is to research the narrative function on the basis of comparative analysis of Aka Morchiladze's creative works.Aka Morchiladze's novels are filled with familiar literary or historical motives, acting people, stories, but itcreates a different reality through narrative or literary plays. The author creates a narrative text based on literary texts and "historical information". Historical information that is used in the text does not correspond to reality, and we, the readers, think that we are about to learn “historical novel” and the narrator is a historian,-not a novelist. Finally, we realize that we deal with the "fake history", allusion of writer's fantasy and literary and historical facts. Therefore, with regards of the presented issues, it is necessary to take into consideration the specificity of postmodern literature and peculiarities of realization of this specificity in Georgian reality. Narrative sources are of particular importance in postmodernism, which is one of the most important elements of the study of the text to be analyzed.

The article analyses the rhythmic characteristics of Russian-language literary texts using the automated PRD (Prose Rhythm Detector) application. The authors consider the main approaches to the periodization of Russian literature of the XIX-XXI centuries in order to determine the affiliation of works to a particular epoch based on the specifics of the text rhythmic structures. The quantitative and statistical methods of the analysis are used.

This chapter presents some concluding thoughts. Part of the purpose of this study has been to recover a sense of the range and scope of the work of just one of the writers generally thought to be part of the world of official Soviet literature. Berggol′ts is known first of all for her wartime poetry; that work deserves to be placed firmly in the context of her writing before and after the war. Its importance should not be denied, but it should not be seen as a sudden, unprecedented outburst of creativity. In its exploration of Berggol′ts's writing, this study has shown that life and art became tightly entangled in her poetry and prose; the poet's own conviction that the two should be intimately connected is demonstrated by her texts. Yet it would be wrong to lose sight of the fact that we have been dealing with literary texts which must be viewed in relation to other literary texts. While much of what Berggol′ts wrote displays its connection with events in her life and in the life of her society, her writing also reveals its awareness of how others wrote. Russian literary tradition and the poetry of her contemporaries helped to form Berggol′ts's work.

This chapter returns to the kind of numeric genetic matrices, which were considered in Chapter 4-6. This kind of genomatrices is not connected with the degeneracy of the genetic code directly, but it is related to some other structural features of the genetic code systems. The connection of the Kronecker families of such genomatrices with special categories of hypercomplex numbers and with their algebras is demonstrated. Hypercomplex numbers of these two categories are named “matrions of a hyperbolic type” and “matrions of a circular type.” These hypercomplex numbers are a generalization of complex numbers and double numbers. Mathematical properties of these additional categories of algebras are presented. A possible meaning and possible applications of these hypercomplex numbers are discussed. The investigation of these hyperbolic numbers in their connection with the parameters of molecular systems of the genetic code can be considered as a continuation of the Pythagorean approach to understanding natural systems.

The death penalty has been the subject of controversy for a long time. South Asian countries have found themselves with this controversy by acquiring an ambivalent approach towards the death penalty. Out of eight South Asian countries, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan retain the death penalty law, and firmly believe that the death penalty can deter people from committing future crimes, whereas Sri Lanka and Maldives have chosen to retain the death penalty law but have abolished it in practice. Conversely, Nepal and Bhutan are the only two countries that have abolished death penalty both in law and practice. In this context, this comparative study of death penalty trials explores the approach taken by the judiciary of two South Asian jurisdictions, Bangladesh and India, towards the death penalty. This paper utilizes the findings of two original empirical research projects that explored judges’ opinions on the retention and administration of the death penalty in both jurisdictions. Amnesty International death penalty reports along with the case judgements are used, which helped to portray the true approach and flaws in the death penalty trials in both the jurisdictions. The paper will assess the death penalty trials and approach of the different stakeholders in the trial to highlight the distinct approaches taken by the two jurisdictions towards the death penalty. The paper argues that in both countries there is inconsistency in sentencing, the social cry for justice is prioritized over convicts’ rights and, from judges to legal representatives, all the stakeholders involved in a criminal trial hold a convictive approach, making a criminal justice system which presumes justice is served by awarding the death penalty.
