Quality education is always desired by the community, the quality of education in Indonesia is characterized by the achievement of the National Education Standards (SNP) or exceeding the SNP. One factor that determines the quality of education is the implementation of quality learning as well, quality learning is only produced by qualified teachers. The competency standards that must be possessed by teachers are pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies. Teacher competency improvement needs to be improved along with the rapid development of science and technology, so that through quality learning can prepare graduates who are ready to face life in their day. In Permendikbud 15 of 2018 the Principal's Workload is entirely to carry out tasks: managerial, entrepreneurship development and supervision to Teachers and education staff. However, along with the rapid development of the times, with the emergence of various kinds of problems, especially in the field of education, which makes the goals of education contained in the law tend to be difficult to realize. So, to facilitate the development of educational goals with the aim of advancing the quality of education in Indonesia, there are three things that must be done, namely : 1) developing the quality of human resources, 2) building a Strong Educational Foundation and Clear Vision, 3) developing a noble moral based curriculum.

One of the main problems in the field of education in Indonesia to date is quality and access. The decline in the results of the UN 2017 and APK to the next level indicates that a more comprehensive and affordable education model is needed. Dormitory education models in the form of boarding schools can implement a comprehensive-holistic education program including religion, academic development, the ability to survive (soft skills and hard skills), the insight of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and building global insight. Considering the importance of boarding schools, up to now many boarding schools have been established but little research has been conducted on the conditions of their achievement based on the National Education Standards. Based on this, the purpose of this study was to analyze the achievement of boarding schools in an effort to improve access and quality of education seen from the National Education Standards (SNP). This research method uses purposive sampling by taking a sample in the Province of South Sumatra in 2017. The unit of analysis in this study is boarding schools in South Sumatra Province. Based on the achievement of boarding schools in South Sumatra Province, which consists of aspects of policy in the area about the existence of boarding schools, grades values of boarding schools, and collaboration with outside parties indicate that the existence of boarding schools can overcome the problems of access and quality of education in South Sumatra Province. Regarding access, students in remote areas have been provided with SMK Negeri 1 Gelumbang and for special access to athletes who need time and special curriculum, there is a Sriwijaya State Sports Middle School. To overcome the problem of efforts to improve the quality of education, there have been 17 Palembang State Senior High Schools and South Sumatra State High Schools which have educators and education personnel, learning and care curricula as well as very adequate facilities and infrastructure.

Quality of education is a benchmark for achieving national education standards. Changes in the world of education in the era of disruptive innovation require a quality education system and fulfill the feasibility of achieving the wishes of the community. This study used big data analysis techniques from Google Trends database for the 2014-2018 period that focused on the Indonesian region. The results of the study showed that the community doesn’t understand the quality of education, accreditation, and its relevance. The community has also not been involved by the educational institution, in the process of meeting the Indonesian national education standards. The instrument of accreditation of educational institutions should be more focused on: (1) performance of the educational institutions development; (2) evaluation of the innovation of the educational process carried out by an educational institution; (3) accountability, effectiveness, and practicality of learning processes by the educational institutions; and (4) curriculum development, learning outcomes, and assessment systems used by the educational institutions.
