A motivated and qualified workforce is crucial in increasing productivity and the quality of the organisational services in order to achieve organisational objectives. A great amount of worldwide wealth is expressed in the form of human capital. Human resources play a crucial role in a process of increasing companies’ effectiveness.The theoretical framework of this study includes concepts such as motivation and job performance.Most organizations acknowledge the importance of having motivated employees in achieving business goals and objectives. Motivated employees are more productive on job performance and help organizations survive.The study investigates the influence of motivation on the job performance of managers.The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the motivation and job performance for Managers of SME.A sample was selected from the target population, via cluster sampling. A structured questionnaire was used and the data analyses were made through statistical package (software) for social sciences (SPSS).The group’s dominant locus of control was also measured through the use of an appropriate measuring instrument.As expected, the findings from the study indicate a positive correlation between managers’ motivation and their job performance.

When SMEs are part of global value chain, the flows of information in cross-border buyer-supplier relationships which emerge from inward-outward internationalisation connections should be addressed. This study therefore investigates the learning processes of internationalising small and medium enterprises that engage in inward and outward internationalisation. Hence, this study adopts a qualitative case study approach based on ten cases of the internationalising SMEs in Malaysia. Semi-structured interviews with the Managing Directors of the selected SMEs were conducted over a two-year period. Additionally, participant observations were conducted by attending the meetings related to import-export activities and documentations were gathered for data triangulation Findings of this study highlights that the relationship with key foreign suppliers empowered case firms to connect inward to outward internationalisation through collaborative knowledge sharing. The distribution of knowledge through tacit-tacit and tacit-explicit knowledge sharing underpinned by formal planning was a prerequisite for inward-outward internationalisation connections to be established.

The current study aimed to describe the influence of financial literacy on financial inclusion that mediated by financial training. It focused on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Respondents in the study were 54 respondents that were taken from 119 MSMEs in Kupang city, Indonesia. The analysis applied path analysis technique. It was to determine the direct or indirect relationship with SPSS Version 20. Analysis results have shown that financial literacy has got a direct and significant impact on financial inclusion. Its contribution to financial training is 33%. In the other side, the contribution of financial literacy towards inclusion is 32%.  Furthermore, financial training has mediated the relationship between financial literacy and financial inclusion. The presentation is 11%. This phenomenon shows that in the future, it is necessary to increase the frequency of financial training for MSMEs actors in Kupang city, Indonesia. The training has to be conducted to increase financial inclusion in understanding the knowledge of the financial product. Since the current study only examined financial literacy, financial inclusion, and financial training, it is suggested that the future researches may examine other aspects such as transparency, accountability, and quality of financial statements.

This research begins with the development of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) which is an illustration of strengthening regional potential. Developing MSMEs can improve services to consumers in order to create buying interest. The benchmarks that are assessed through the level of confidence in a product directly aim to analyze customer interest. In this study, it is explained that customer interest is product quality, service quality, price, and cost which are closely related to meeting the service needs of the Tebing Tinggi Business Clinic (KLIBI) assisted them. The method used is the canonical analysis method which is a multivariate model that studies the relationship between the dependent variable set varied from the independent variable set. The data characteristics for canonical correlation are metric data, namely interval or ratio data. The research result gained that responsiveness and concern give the significant effect on the cost so that customers want to buy continuously. For the recommendation, The Government needs to improve the quality of product endorsement among Tebing Tinggi and Indonesian consumers by making the program business promotion and international exhibitions through KLIBI.

This study explored the influence of Total Quality Management practices on performance of Small and Medium Enterprises. Youth Projects in Kajiado County, Kenya were used as the target population. One of the key TQM management practices is training of employees. The study sort to determine the influence of training of employees on performance on SMEs. The study was carried out on 168 youth group projects in Kajiado County.Questionnaires and interviews were used as research instruments. For triangulation purpose, the interview schedule was used to confirm the information captured by the questionnaire. Data was collected from both primary and secondary sources. The study used mixed method approach in the collection and analysis, to capture both the qualitative and quantitative data.Spearman’s correlation was used to test the relationship between training and performance of SMEs. The analyses indicated a moderately positive relationship between training and performance of SMEs in Kajiado county which was statistically significant rs=0.400, p=0.600.Based on the findings and conclusions of the study, it is recommended that to improve the performance of the youth groups, they should strive to ensure their product in the market is superior. This can only be ensured by equipping their employees with proper skills, knowledge and values through training.

Globally, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) have been found to significantly contribute to the gross domestic product (GDP) in developing nations as well as to employment. In Kenya, the SMEs have the potential of raising many citizens to the mainstream economy. Although the SMEs contribute toward economic development as well as to employment in Kenya, their financial performance is still wanting, which is evidenced by the high collapse rate of SMEs. This research project assessed the influence of accounting outsourcing (AO) on financial performance of SMEs. The study used a descriptive design, and the number of SMEs that formed the population of study was 8605 in Thika subcounty. The sample size was therefore 368 SMEs, which were sampled using stratified and simple random sampling. The study adopted a questionnaire to collect data, and the Cronbach alpha coefficient was employed for testing of reliability. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used in analyzing the collected data with the assistance of statistical packages of social science (SPSS) version 23. The relationship between influences of AO and its effect on financial performance of SMEs were established through a simple regression model. The results of this study showed a significant positive association between the explanatory variables and the financial performance of SMEs. The study concludes that influences of AO have significant influence on SMEs financial performance. The study recommended that managers and owners of SMEs should seek service from qualified accountants as this may increase the quality of financial records and may improve their SMEs financial performance.

Expansion, diversification, greater choice, market share, profits and increased competition are the overarching forces that drive organisations to embrace marketing concepts such as market orientation. Various researchers assert that market orientation is a vital marketing concept for the performance of businesses and for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) there are no exceptions. The study examines the relationship of the determinants and barriers to market orientation and the influence of market orientation on business performance among SMEs in a developing country. This cross-sectional study made of a quantitative survey design. The target population comprised 273 owners/managers of SMEs in the Vaal Triangle, South Africa. The results revealed that the determinants of market orientation exhibited a strong influence in market orientation. Market orientation in turn showed strong positive relationship with business performance. Barriers to market orientation showed strong negative relationship with market orientation. The study identified the constructs that foster or discourage market orientation, and the contribution that market orientation can have on business performance for SMEs. SMEs owner/mangers are encouraged to consider the market orientation constructs that positively influences the performance of their businesses.

This research is entitled "The Strategy of Small and Medium Enterprises to Increase Society Revenue (Case Study of Center for Elimination in Getap)". The purpose of this thesis is to find out the size of the income generated from the Welding in Getap, Cakra Selatan Baru Village, Cakranegara District, knowing what things affecting income, production costs, the quality of the products produced and the ways of marketing.The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach by utilizing interview activities and direct observation as a technique of data collection, informants from this study consisted of the Welding Owners, Employees and Communities in Getap, South Cakra, New Cakranegara District.The results of this study indicate that the income of the welding is quite large on average - Rp. 20,000,000 per month which also undermines unemployment because workers who work in, work hard and want to take part in training conducted by the government so that they have expertise in the field of welding. On the other hand, with the presence of the welding, it was able to improve the living standards of the people around Getap with the opening of small kiosks of snack vendors, and rice stalls which earned an average daily income of Rp.250,000 to Rp.300,000 perday.

This research was conducted to evaluate the Implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the existing education program at PT FIFGROUP, as a program to help improve SME entrepreneurs' quality of business located around the company, especially in Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta. The theory used in this research is Corporate Social Responsibility. The method used in this research is qualitative, a case study approached, and the type of research descriptive. The data collection technique is in-depth interviews with Key Informant and Informants as well as methods of data validity by source. The results obtained in this research used the stages of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The results of program activities have been running well by its purpose and benefits. The conclusion of the results of this research indicated that MSME entrepreneurs (micro, small and medium enterprises) got helped by the revolving fund program as assistance in improving the business. It is implemented by the stage of the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and PT FIFGROUP doing continuous improvement to spread revolving funds to SME entrepreneurs (micro, small and medium enterprises) that eligible and promptly.

. In the current millennial era, Small and Medium Enterprises were popular these days in the society and then the economy in Colomadu sub-district was on the position that is not fine. This research has a purpose to gave a big impact for Colomadu sub-district economy enhancement with the existence of Small and Medium Enterprises as it’s medium. Other than that, the existence of Small and Medium Enterprises will giving a lot of employment that later can reduce the number of unemployed. This research was using descriptive qualitative with a case study approach and use data collection in a way using random sampling data collection by examining 3 Small and Medium Enterprises in Colomadu sub-district. The results that the writer expect was the occurance of decrease in number unemployed which will result in an increase in the quality of human resource. Other than that, the writer also want a enhancement of the economy in Colomadu sub-district be better than before. The implication of this research was by starting the emergence of many Small and Medium Enterprises, eliminate he proglem of job shortages and keep the economy of Colomadu sub-district from an unfavorable position.
