Using annualised data, this paper uses a regression model to help explain the relationship between home ownership, marriage, and key economic variables. By investigating the current body of knowledge this paper highlights support for two main theories that explain a fall in home ownership among those aged less than 35. Social trends, particularly delays in relationship formation (marriages), are cited by many academics as being the main reason for the decline in ownership among the young. However, there is more recent support for economic factors, suggesting affordability is much more of an issue for those who wish to achieve home ownership. The regression model, which uses home finance as a proxy for entry to home ownership, suggests that there is a statistically significant relationship between marriages and homeownership from 1979 - 2010 but not between median house prices and home ownership.

The topic of attracting foreign investment in general and foreign direct investment in particular has gained special importance, as it is one of the main pillars on which countries depend to finance and develop their development programs in various economic sectors. Also, foreign direct investment is an effective means of transferring modern technology and its creation and development. Modern methods and methods of production contribute to high rates of economic growth. Therefore, the determinants of foreign direct investment in Iraq have been chosen as a subject for research, to identify the nature of FDI flows and to measure and analyze the relationship between a number of economic variables and between foreign direct investment in Iraq for the period 1995 - 2018, as we have found a positive and statistically significant relationship between some economic variables And between foreign direct investment, and the presence of an inverse and statistically significant relationship between a number of other economic variables and foreign direct investment.

The direction and mechanisms of the relationship between airport traffic volumes and property prices are somewhat unclear in the literature. This study adds to that body of knowledge by empirically investigating the role of airports as an essential driver of economic activity by creating employment and facilitating air travel between destinations. The two-stage least-squares (2SLS) approach is employed to investigate the link between house prices and the airport traffic volumes of New Zealand’s three key regions and airports (Auckland, Canterbury/Christchurch and Wellington) from July 2004 to December 2014. The empirical findings of the study suggest that airport traffic volumes positively and significantly influence the urban house prices of New Zealand’s three major regions.

This research is on canonical correlation of multivariate regression analysis on economic factors in Nigeria. This study aim to analyze the effect of Nigerian macroeconomic factors and also to investigate the relationship between the factors for the period of 1985-2014. Four macroeconomic variables (economic factors) used in this research are Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Currency in Circulation (CIC), Foreign Trade and Inflation. Canonical correlation analysis under Multivariate regression was used for association between the variables. The result showed that there is a significant relationship between GDP and all the variables considered at (0.01) level of significant with the exception of inflation which showed negative and no significant relationship. However, the results also revealed that the economy of Nigeria is been affected by volume of economic factor returns.

The city is a living thing whose population determines its future. Given its administrative and political pole in Iran, Tehran has attracted a significant population and District 6, given the establishment of commercial-administrative centers is the administrative pole. The purpose of the study was to examine and compare the energy consumption in the field of transportation and administrative-commercial buildings. For this purpose, the research method was based on a researcher-made questionnaire based on 6 main variables and 49 items. The sample size of 384 people was selected to reach the results using Cochran's test to answer. The study was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of nature. Data collection was based on library documents, and Vikor test was used to rank energy consumption and reach the final results. It has to be acknowledged that the results showed a significant relationship between social and economic factors in the field of transportation and residential and commercial areas until the end of January 2019. Other cases followed a 5-year pattern with a not-so-low consumption rate. Moreover, there was a significant relationship between pollutant production and energy consumption in the second quarter of each year. The statistical results based on the Vickor model showed that the first and second conditions of the above statistical test were confirmed and Districts 2, 3 and 8 have the best rank in terms of Q value, respectively, and the final result is correct.

This study was conducted using empirical data to examine objectives by adopting the perception of attendees towards sponsors. Three distinct forms based on Tomalieh (2016) which proposed the relationship between brand knowledge, event sponsor-fit and attitude towards events to purchase intention was adapted. How consumers experience an event can also have a powerful influence over their purchasing intention behavior. Outcome of this study concludes that attitude towards the event is the most important factor and has a much more significant relationship towards purchase intention when compared with other variables. This factor refers to how event attendees perceive an event sponsor. This study adds to the body of knowledge by providing new data and empirical insight on the relationship between event sponsorship factors and purchase intention specifically for the event industry in Malaysia. For future studies, it is recommended that comparative studies with other industries as well as other developing and developed economies be carried out.

Microfinance is reported to be an effective tool of empowerment for vulnerable and marginalised groups, especially women. This study set out to investigate the relationship between microfinance services and the clients’ socioeconomic wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic in Uganda. The study involved 73 employees of microfinance institutions that deal directly with the clients. The study findings revealed that while no significant relationship exists between microfinance services and clients’ socioeconomic wellbeing, there is a significant moderate positive relationship between microfinance client protection policies and the clients’ socioeconomic wellbeing. The regression model revealed that a unit increase in client protection policies increases the socioeconomic wellbeing of microfinance services beneficiaries by 72%. It is recommended that microfinance institutions integrate client protection policies in their activities in line with their known social mission

SummaryThe validity of a previously described technique for predicting warfarin requirements based on the anticoagulant response to a fixed loading dose was assessed prospectively in 57 patients. There was a close relationship between the predicted and initially observed daily warfarin dose required to maintain the patient within the therapeutic range for anticoagulation. The significant relationship between predicted and observed maintenance dose persisted at 4 and 12 weeks although it decreased with increasing time. The relationship between observed and predicted maintenance requirement of warfarin was not affected by the concomitant use of intermittent intravenous injections of heparin when 9 hr was allowed to elapse between the previous dose of heparin and the thrombotest estimation on which the prediction was based. It is concluded that the method is valuable in predicting an individual’s warfarin requirement, although it does not obviate the need for regular monitoring of anticoagulant control.

The focus of this study is to find the relationship between El Nino and dengue fever cases in the study area.Mosquito density was recorded with the help of light traps and through aspirators collection. Climate data were obtained from National Meteorology and Environment centre. (Year wise El Nino and La Nina data are according to NOAA & Golden Gate Weather Services). Statistical methods were used to establish the correlation coefficient between different factors. A high significant relationship was observed between Relative Humidity and Dengue fever cases, but Aedes abundance had no significant relationship with either Relative humidity and Temperature. Our conclusion is that the El Nino does not affect the dengue transmission and Aedes mosquito abundance in this region, which is supported by earlier works.

The concept of entrepreneurial orientation, which emerges with the development of strategic management, refers to entrepreneurship orientations of businesses. The businesses need resources in other words organizational slack in order to develop their entrepreneurial trends. The organizational slack consists of three slack type. These slack types are available slack, recoverable slack and potential slack. The purpose of this study is to examine whether organizational slack in the businesses has an effect on entrepreneurial orientation. The relationship between organizational slack and entrepreneurial orientation was investigated through 20 companies that were traded in Borsa Istanbul Corporate Governance Index for 2010-2014 period using panel data analysis method. The results of the study indicate the existence of a statistically significant relationship between and the available slack and the recoverable slack with the entrepreneurial orientation in the businesses. According to findings; there was no statistically significant relationship between potential slack and entrepreneurial orientation.

Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) has been widely studied across the boarders especially in the western countries. This workplace voluntary behaviour is associated with many predictors that may bring whether major, minor or negative influence towards the engagement of employees’ OCB. Basically, this study is focusing on motivation as the predictor or independent variable that influence employees’ engagement on the OCB (altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, civic virtue and sportsmanship) behaviour. Herzberg’s motivator factor (achievement, advancement, recognition and growth) has been chosen as the independent variable. A total of 150 questionnaires were distributed conveniently to respondents. With 125 questionnaires returned, researcher was able to analyze the data based on the research questions and hypotheses developed. The findings showed moderate and weak, significant relationship between the variable excluding the relationship between independent variable and civic virtue and sportsmanship. Thus, Herzberg’s motivator factor was not a predictor to civic virtue and sportsmanship behaviour. However for the strongest predictor; achievement, growth and growth are strongly predicts the altruism, conscientiousness and courtesy behaviour respectively. However, with the absence of relationship between independent variable and civic virtue as well as sportsmanship, therefore the strongest predictor cannot be determined as the value recorded was below the criterion.
