Analysys of Manajerial Ability in The Family Business Performance with InformationTechnoly Skills as an Intervening Variable: (Study on Craetive Tourism Industry of Handycraft SME’s in North Sulawesi Province. This study examines the effect of manajerial ability on family business performance with information technology skill as an intervening variable of handicraft SME’s in North Sulawesi province. A good SME handycraft business performance will strengthen the existence of SME’s in the domestic market and upgrade the ability to compete equally in the global market. The population of this study is the handycraft business consisting of 77 handycraft business units. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with primary data sourced from SME business owner who know the condition of the use of information technology and managerial ability in managing the business. The method used to analyze the data is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the aid of smatPls. The results of data analysis show that business performance can be seen from the managerial ability which is 90.60% and managerial ability for information technology at 94.10%. the result of Hypothesis testing show that managerial ability has a positive effect on family business performance and the manager’s ability has a positive effect on information technology skill, but information technology has no effect on business performance of handycratf SME’s in North Sulawesi Province.

The rapid growth of Small Business Enterprise (SME) throughout the Asian economy, especially in Indonesia is partly due to the rapidly developing information technology. The internet has become an important business tool, to the point where even SME utilize e-commerce. SMEs in Indonesia are proven to be the most dynamic and vibrant sector. The use of e-commerce is increasingly widespreading among young people and teenagers. Students–especially college students–are becoming more interested in doing entrepreneurship in between their classes. This research was conducted on students at Pasundan University to determine the influence of e-commerce implementation and student competence on the success of their business. The results showed that e-commerce and competence have a great influence on the success of businesses run by students.   Keywords: E-commerce, Competence, Business performance, students

In this study, the authors makes an attempt to understand the aspirations of the new generation employees in tour operation business and allied areas. It is being attempted with the presumption that the takeover of information technology seeded the concept of micro enterprises in tourism which functions with the business model of low investment and good turnover. The focus was in identifying employee specific factors of encouraging and discouraging in nature in the fast growing tourism sector, especially job attrition and the dynamics of human resource management practices. Factor Analysis, independent sample t-test, multiple regression have been used to establish various relationships. The findings of the study are considered to be relevant since it quantitatively establish the dynamics of employment in tourism in India.
