Internet become as basic component of daily routine. Although the Internet has many positive aspects, most people spend too much time on their smart devices spending less time playing outdoors. A decrease in physical activity not only sets up information fatigue, which leads to increase in diseases of the nervous and heart systems. Many of scientific articles deal only with the features of information fatigue and its consequences for human health, however research articles that analyze tools that can protect against information fatigue have not been found. Only commercial companies advertise their software, which help monitor what users are doing on their computer. Novelty of the article is that it explores how information technology affects young people lives and analyses software that can help control working time with these smart devices also.

Currently, approximately 3.4 billion people are accessing the internet around the world and that number is still growing. This phenomena creates the Internet culture that has a great influence on science, technology and even the world economy. Internet bandwidth is very expensive, which makes an information technology based company have to map the internet accurately either daily, monthly or yearly. That data will be taken into consideration by the company to decide how to provide services that make an internet surfing is a pleasant experience. If not regulated, most likely the traffic and bandwidth will be used up even when it is only shared by a few users. To anticipate this, we need a bandwidth and management traffic system using Netscan and Networx in order to monitoring the usage of Internet.

This chapter adds to the discussion of human and social perspectives in information technology by examining the existence and extent of fraudulent activities conducted through the Internet. The principal question addressed by this chapter is whether fraudulent activities perpetuated using the Internet constitute a new type of fraud, or whether they are classic forms of fraud appearing in a new medium. Three areas of fraud are investigated, namely: securities fraud, fraud in electronic commerce, and fraud arising from the rapid growth of Internet companies. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has cited more than 100 companies for committing securities fraud using the Internet. Actions prohibited under U.S. securities laws are now being conducted through the Internet, and the SEC has taken steps to suppress these frauds (SEC, 2001). The rapid growth of electronic commerce, and the natural desire on the part of consumers to feel secure while engaging in electronic commerce, has prompted the creation of mechanisms, such as web site seals and logos, to reduce concerns about fraudulent use of information. It is, however, questionable whether these mechanisms are effective in reducing fraud conducted through the Internet. A third potential area for fraud on the Internet involves the rapid growth of Internet companies, often with little economic substance and lacking in traditional managerial controls. This chapter seeks to examine areas with significant potential for fraud on the Internet and to assess implications of such activities for the management of information technology.

South Korea is a leading country in the use of computers and broadband. The paper will show how young Koreans, who have been brought up within a hierarchical, family focused society, now find that they are able to create and have power within ‘their own world’ using information technology. Parents, government and IT companies have encouraged the use of IT by young people but there is now concern about ‘internet addiction’. The paper considers the changing power relationships and discusses the policy and practice changes required to ensure a more balanced use of the internet.
