At certain moments, especially on national holiday transportation users greatly increase. The manual ticket booking system of inter-city buses is not very effective and efficient as indicated that it takes long time to book tickets and find information about ticket availability for a specific purpose on a certain day. Besides, inaccuracies often happen on synchronizing ticket availability with seat availability. Due to those problems, it needs to be made a model of ticketing information system of inter-city buses. The initial phase focused on booking tickets at a branch office. The next stage of development is integrating the  information system of all branch offices to the central office. The purpose of this paper is to create a model of the system design if inter-city bus ticket reservation in inter-provincial branches can provide convenience for the branch to book tickets booked by customers. The methodology used in this research is a preliminary study by library research, followed by analysis on running systems through survey findings, then identification of information needs. From the results of this study it is found that a more specific design and implementation are expected to be made so as to provide more benefits to its users. The results of this study can be further developed and integrated with the central office.

<p class="SammaryHeader" align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>OPI (Ogan Permata Indah) Jakabaring Mall Palembang is a modern shopping center integrated in the OPI Business Center (OBC) area </em><em>and not yet maximally in fulfilling information needs and computerized programmed still using manual in the form of Microsoft Word, namely in terms of storing tenant data into the rental archive. All </em><em>tenants who will rent a business place in Ogan Permata Indah (OPI) Mall, the administration section will look for the tenants 'data which will require a long time because the tenants' data has not been well integrated. So this research will make an information system for leasing business places in Ogan Permata Indah (OPI), Jakabaring Mall, Palembang. Researchers use the Microsoft Access 2007 database, with applications using Visual Basic 6.0. The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems that exist in a company engaged in the sales of paper cutting machine that is on sale systems that are running on the company, identifying the needs of enterprise information and designing information systems that are able to meet the company’s information needs. The used methodology is the method of analysis and design methods. The analysis method is library research, observation, survey of the old system, the identification of information needs and interviews. While the design method used is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).The achieved results are in the form of sales information system for paper cutting machine distributor in the form of application design to improve the sales system, which is still done manually. The conclusion is a computerized information system sales can solve problems that occur on the old systems and procedures in the company.Keywords: Design; Sales Information System

Technology plays an important role in various enterprise business processes for improved customer service, decision making, and means of information exchange. Hospitality accommodation is an example of fields that use information systems technology. This research was conducted in the field of hospitality especially front office system. Using computerized front office system, data about guests will be stored more safely and the reports will be better resulted. The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing problems on a Front Office of a hotel including identifying information needs and designing information systems to improve hospitality services to guests. The method used is analysis and design. Analysis is performed towards library research anddata collection needed for measuring through observation, interviews, and documents related to the information system. Menawhile, design uses object oriented analysis and design (OOAD) method and application programusing MS Access 2010. The result achieved is an application design of information system of hospitality front office that consists of five modules, namely Reservation module, Services module, Housekeeping module,Restaurant module, and Billing module. As a conclusion, a computerized information system of hospitality front office can assist hotels in providing better service to guests, which in turn can increase guest satisfaction.

Research methods that is using explanatory and descriptive research. Technique of data collection that is using field research that consists of interview, observation and library research. Structure of system development that is using Waterfall.             Financial reporting in Sales Information System of Samafitro in accordance with financial accounting standards. The computerized data processing is well, there by reducing the occurrence of human error and produce sales reports in the Supevisor Sales and supporters report on the accounts receivable in Supervisor Accounting.

Article presented an information system development which can facilitate the doctors and nurses at clinic in managingoutpatient and reporting data quickly, accurately, and effectively. Before using a computerized system, all data recording wasstill done conventionally using paper media. The research method used was an analysis and designing method, interviews,library research, and field study as to do an observation. The analysis and designing method, which was proposed, used anobject-oriented concept and presented through notation of Unified Modeling Language (UML). The research results showedthat a clinic needs a new system which can facilitate the doctors and nurses in processing operational data, such as medicalrecord data and other data relating to the outpatient. The article defines the features of the process of forming the research tradition of studying the institute of parliamentarism as a mechanism for the formation of democracy. It is established that parliamentarism acts as one of the varieties of the regime of functioning of the state, to which the independence of the representative body from the people is inherent, its actual primacy in the state mechanism, the division of functions between the legislative and executive branches of government, the responsibility and accountability of the government to the parliament. It is justified that, in addition to the regime that fully meets the stated requirements of classical parliamentarism, there are regimes that can be characterized as limited parliamentary regimes. The conclusions point out that parliamentarism does not necessarily lead to a democracy regime. At the first stage of development of statehood, it functions for a long time in the absence of many attributes of democracy, but at the present stage, without parliamentarism, democracy will be substantially limited. Modern researchers of parliamentarism recognize that this institution is undergoing changes with the development of the processes of democracy and democratization. This is what produces different approaches to its definition. However, most scientists under classical parliamentarianism understand such a system, which is based on the balance of power. In 1997, the ASHS Board of Directors established ASHS HortBase as a Standing Committee of the Society. The ASHS HortBase Committee, a six-member Standing Committee and Chair, is charged to implement and maintain ASHS HortBase. The members of the ASHS HortBase Committee will be chair and chair-elect of the three HortBase Task Forces: 1) Finance and Marketing; 2) Standards—authoring, reviewing, and publishing; and 3) Technology. ASHS HortBase is a dispersed, dynamic horticultural information system (network) on the WWW comprised of peer—reviewed, concise, interlinked information modules to meet the information needs of instructors and students, gardeners and growers. A strong advantage and distinguishing characteristic of ASHS HortBase is our dynamic pool of potential authors, reviewers, and users (ASHS Extension, Industry, and Teaching membership) to continually evolve and update the peer-reviewed information in HortBase. We have the scholastic international standing to provide peer review and validation of the information and to recognition to the authors, coupled with the marketing to stimulate wide use of their information modules. ASHS HortBase is a dispersed system (dispersed development and server costs). The “dispersed cost” for information file development and updating and delivery on the respective authors' dispersed servers disperses the major costs of the HortBase information system. Purpose This paper presents the results of a qualitative study that involved students of an interdisciplinary PhD program. The study objective was to gather requirements to create a knowledge graph information system. The purpose of this study was to determine information-seeking practices and information needs of this community, to inform the functionalities of a proposed system, intended to help students with relevant resource discovery and decision-making. Design/methodology/approach The study design included semi-structured interviews with eight members of the community, followed by a website usability study with the same student participants. Findings Two main information-seeking styles are recognized and reported through user personas of international and domestic (USA) students. The findings show that the useful information resides within the community and not so much on the program website. Students rely on peer communication, although they report lack of opportunities to connect. Students’ information needs and information seeking are dependent on their progress through the program, as well as their motivation and the projected timeline. Practical implications Considering the current information needs and practices, a knowledge graph hosting both information on social networks and the knowledge produced by the activities of the community members would be useful. By recording data on their activities (for example, collaboration with professors and coursework), students would reveal further useful system functionalities and facilitate transfer of tacit knowledge. Originality/value Aside from the practical value of this research that is directly influencing the design of a system, it contributes to the body of knowledge on interdisciplinary PhD programs.

As amount of information in construction industry is growing, the role of information system in project management is becoming increasingly important. With the emerging IT application to the advancing construction industry, construction project management system with advanced technology has been progressed vigorously to improve construction productivity and management efficiency. Recently, a web-based Project Management Information System (PMIS) is developed to support decision-making process by efficiently managing project related information generated from various discipline. Many firms are in the process of developing the PMIS system or already have been applied the system to various projects. However, PMIS is still in its early stage of development to be applied at industrial plant construction projects. With the complexity of the industrial plant projects, the industry practitioners need to be able to visualize the construction schedule information to manage the project efficiently. This study suggests methodologies for improving PMIS specialized for industrial plant piping construction projects to estimate the baseline schedule and performance measurement more accurately by developing a framework for the piping construction projects. By using this developed system, the researchers expect that piping construction projects will be more efficiently managed on a real-time basis through measuring progress of piping at each and every state of progress milestone and provide management with opportunities to forecast the level of efforts required to execute the remaining work scope in a timely manner.
