Mesoporous silicas SBA-15 with Ag nanoparticles in the channel was synthesized by one-step method. Samples characterzation were performed by the XRD, TEM, adsorption/desorption of nitrogen and ICP-AES. And the heterogeneous catalysis(Ag/SBA-15) shows catalytic activity in three-component coupling reaction of aldehyde, alkyne, and amine.

SnO2/Ag hollow microsphere, assembled form SnO2 and Ag nanoparticles, was synthesized via a facile one-step hydrothermal synthesis method using Na2SnO3.3H2O, CO(NH2)2 and AgNO3 as raw materials. XRD, SEM, and TEM results revealed that the obtained SnO2/Ag hollow microsphere with diameters of ca.3∼5 μm was built from uniformly distributed rutile SnO2 and cubic Ag nanoparticles. Moreover, XPS results indicate the existence of strong interaction between Ag and SnO2 nanoparticles, rather than simply physical contact, endowing the SnO2/Ag hollow microspheres with excellent photocatalytic performance in the degradation of RhB solution under visible light irradiation.

The key to solving environmental and energy issues through photocatalytic technology requires highly efficient, stable and eco-friendly photocatalysts. Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C 3 N 4 ) is one of the most promising candidates except for its limited photoactivity. In this work, a facile and scalable one-step method is developed to fabricate an efficient heterostructural g-C 3 N 4 photocatalyst in situ coupled with MoS 2 . The strong coupling effect between the MoS 2 nanosheets and g-C 3 N 4 scaffold, numerous mesopores and enlarged specific surface area helped form an effective heterojunction. As such, the photocatalytic activity of the g-C 3 N 4 /MoS 2 is more than three times higher than that of the pure g-C 3 N 4 in the degradation of RhB under visible light irradiation. Improvement of g-C 3 N 4 /MoS 2 photocatalytic performance is mainly ascribed to the effective suppression of the recombination of charge carriers.

The effect of dynamic curing of PP/EPDM blends with sulfur and thiuram disulfide systems on their mechanical properties was studied. The results were interpreted using the knowledge of the formation of phase structure in the blends during their melt mixing. It was shown, that a sufficiently slow curing reaction is necessary if a high impact strength is to be obtained. Only in such case, a fine and homogeneous dispersion of elastomer can be formed, which is the necessary condition for high impact strength of the blend. Using an inhibitor of curing in the system and a one-step method of dynamic curing leads to an increase in impact strength of blends. From the comparison of shear modulus and impact strength values, it follows that, at the stiffness, the dynamically cured blends have higher impact strength than the uncured ones.
