The research of single doped fiber concrete is relatively mature. But the research about different varieties and different geometry shape of hybrid fiber concrete was very poor. Across the research in theory, hybrid fiber concrete can improve the balance of fiber three-dimensional distribution and coordinating role of aggregate and fiber, improve the efficiency of toughening crack resistance. In this paper, through the orthogonal experiment design method for hybrid fiber reinforced concrete, the mass and compressive strength loss rate after 50 times, 75 times, 100 times freeze-thaw cycle had been studied. Use range analysis quantified the influence level of various factors on the mechanical properties. It was analyzed the hybrid fiber influence on improving the efficiency of toughening crack resistance and frost resistance. It is concluded that adding the fiber can enhance the performance of concrete frost resistance. Long steel fiber have great influence on compressive strength loss rate of hybrid fiber concrete, such as the compressive strength loss rate was reached 65.47% after 75 times freeze-thaw cycle. Short steel fiber have certain influence on mass loss of concrete which were after less freeze-thaw cycles. The influence of polypropylene fiber on concrete frost resistance increases significantly, the effect can reach 36.78% after 50 times of freeze-thaw cycle. The optimal combination of the hybrid fiber concrete ultimately determined was A2B2C3 (simultaneously mixed with 50kg/m3 short steel fiber and long steel fiber as well as 0.9kg/m polypropylene fiber). The addition of steel fiber and polypropylene fiber are both beneficial to increase the internal air content of concrete, strengthening the frost resistance of concrete. However, with the increase of dosage, the internal porosity of concrete is gradually increasing, the density is reduced, and, as a result, the corresponding increase of the compressive strength loss rate is also improved.

Using waste to produce a new type of air entraining agent (AEA), carrying out research of the concrete’s mixture performance, mechanical properties and frost resistance durability after mixing with the AEA, with results showing that amount of air entrained in the concrete mixture and the water reducing rate increases along with the increase of the addition of the new AEA, and its compressive strength loss laws are similar with that of normal AEAs. During the frost-thaw cycle test, when the weight loss rate has reached its limit, concrete with the new AEA added can withstand almost 300 cycles, and at this time the relative dynamic modulus of the concrete, when the amount of air entrained in it is 4.5%, is 83.5%, and the relative dynamic modulus is 85.4% when the amount of air entrained is 5.3%. The addition of the AEA has obviously improved the pore structure of the concrete, and significantly raising its frost resistance durability.

Different amount of pumice were used to replace gravel to make mixed aggregate concrete, the fast freeze-thaw cycle test were conducted and the influence of pumice rate substitution to the frost resistance properties of concrete were studied. The mass loss rate, strength loss and relative dynamic elastic modulus were regarded as the evaluation index of frost resistance properties of concrete. Results showed that the mass loss rate and strength loss rate gradually decreased and the relative dynamic elastic modulus gradually increased with the increase of pumice rate, the mass loss rate, strength loss rate and the relative dynamic elastic modulus gradually decreased with the increase of freeze-thaw cycles. Polypropylene fibers could reduce the strength loss rate, improved the relative dynamic elastic modulus, but had little effect to improve the mass loss. Through the frost resistance, the frost resistance of concrete improved with the increase of pumice content, at the same time, polypropylene fiber also could improve the frost resistance of concrete.

Basic performance test was performed on a newly-developed compound antifreeze and experiment was carried out to study the basic performance, mechanical property and durability of the concrete mixtures containing 0%, 4% and 5% antifreeze. The result shows the antifreeze may be used for the concrete construction at 20°C below zero and it has favorable performance for winter construction. When the amount to be added is 4% and 5%, the ratio of compressive strength of 28 days shall be 105% and 107% respectively; the ratio of compressive strength of 56 days shall be 114% and 112% respectively. In freeze-thaw cycle experiment, 50 times of freeze-thaw strength loss rate is 45.3% and 44.8% of the strength loss rate of the concrete without the antifreeze. The water-reducing ratio of the antifreeze, ratio of bleeding rate, air content, difference in setting time, strength ratio, ratio of shrinkage, permeated height ratio and other performance indexes all satisfy specification requirements.

With the fast freeze-thaw test method, the c50 steel fiber self-compacting concrete was carried out 300 tests of freeze-thaw cycle. In the process of freeze-thaw cycles, it determined by the quality of the concrete specimen, dynamic elastic modulus and strength, and analyzed the steel fibers and their different contents on frost resistance of self-compacting concrete impact. The results showed that: steel fiber self-compacting concrete in freeze-thaw cycle can play constrained role in the quality loss, dynamic elastic modulus and intensity, and can significantly improve the self-compacting concrete frost resistance. Within a certain range, the more steel fiber, the stronger of frost resistance.

By adopting the method of orthogonal experimental design, the effect of three independent variables, that is steel fiber fraction, polypropylene fiber fraction and silica fume fraction on the compressive strength, flexural strength and shrinkage of cement mortar was studied. The results indicate that steel fiber is one of the most important factors affecting compressive strength and shrinkage, and polypropylene fiber is one of the most important factors affecting flexural strength and shrinkage of cement mortar. By using deviation analysis to analyze the orthogonal experiment results, the optimized mix proportion of hybrid fiber reinforced cement mortar is determined. The hybrid effect of steel fiber and polypropylene fiber on the properties of cement mortar is discussed.

Through compression tests on 30 plain concrete and polypropylene fiber concrete specimens with the dimensions of 100mm × 100mm × 100mm , studied the influence of the different scales of polypropylene fiber and hybrid fiber on concrete compressive strength and compressive deformation. The results showed that: the compressive strength of concrete for single-doped fiber has little effect to improve concrete compressive strength, some even get lower, but mixing-doped coarse-fine fiber had increased 6.2%~13.7%. Doped-fiber can improve the concrete compressive toughness, it's enhancement sort: mixing-doped coarse-fine fiber concrete > single-doped coarse fiber concrete > single-doped fine fiber concrete> plain concrete

In this paper, according to the national standard and testing methods, the direct tension strength, splitting tensile strength and cubic compressive strength test were carried out for 8 different groups of hybrid fiber (containing steel fiber, macro-polypropylene fiber and dura fiber) reinforced HPC specimens. The results showed that when the volume proportion of ternary hybrid fiber was less than 1%, there was not obvious influence for the concrete compressive strength, but the splitting tensile strength increased by 26% ~ 69%; the ratio between splitting tensile strength and compressive strength for HFRC increased to 1/12~1/9. When added 0.7% steel fiber, 0.19% macro-polypropylene fiber and 0.11% dura fiber, the confounding effect was the best. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of tensile splitting strength and direct tensile strength test and the results of tests, the concept of equivalent tensile strength and calculative formula was put forward .

This paper studies the influence on compressive strength, freezing resistance and microstructure of cement mortar with different content of mica in stone powder, in the tests, manufactured sand with high content of mica and natural river sand were mixed with different proportion, and the content of stone powder was the same in mixed sand. Experiment results indicate that, with the increasing of mica content in stone powder, 28d and 60d compressive strength of cement mortar decreases obvious, mass loss rate and strength loss rate with 50 freeze-thaw cycles increase a little. Microstructure of cement mortar with higher content of mica is not compactly by SEM, the internal defects of cement hardened pastes could be increased because of the flake mica which surface is smooth, and it will cause the spread of micro crack.

Pumice, polypropylene fiber, steel fiber and fly ash were used to compound fiber reinforced lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC). The effect of fibers on frost resistance durability of LWAC is studied, which including freezing-thawing in 5% Na2SO4 solution and in water. The test results show that the strength loss of LWAC is reduced with the increase in fiber fraction, but the impact of mass loss is not obvious by mixing fiber. LWAC freezing-thawing deterioration is even more serious in salt solution than in water. SEM photo show that polypropylene fiber has more stronger cementing bond with paste than steel fiber. the mass loss and strength loss are decreased significantly. By introduction silica fume can improve Interfacial Transition Zone(ITZ)and the frost resistance of fibers reinforcement LWAC dramatically.
