Since the open space quality and quantity becomes decline in many cities of developing countries, the research means to identify the relationship between quality of public open space (POS) and quality of life (QOL) in Medan, Indonesia. The study measured the level of satisfaction of the visitors of POS by using five scale Likert Scale. The analysis shows that people perceived ‘function’ as the most significant factor for POS and ‘health’ as the most important aspect for QOL. Thus, there is a strong correlation between quality of POS and the physical QOL. Keywords: quality of public open space, quality of life, Medan, perception. eISSN 2514-751X © 2018. The Authors. This study examines the quality of life (QoL) satisfaction through place attachment theory upon neighbourhood area among youth in Kuala Lumpur. The objectives are to test the impact of neighbourhood sense of place on QoL index. For place attachment, the environmental factors closest to the home of the residents exerted a greater influence than the more distal factor. These findings contribute to understanding the relationship between place attachment theory and quality of life among youth. The discussion also considers personal dimensions of place belonging and identifying associations amongst them as ways to explore youth quality of life in the PPH. AbstractThe objective of this research is to find out the relationship within organizational process (communication, decision making, career socialization, and career opportunity) and the effectiveness of the organization in giving nursing care using centralization approach and decentralization approach in Hospital. The questioners were given to a total sample of 104 respondents; they were associate nurses who were chosen using inclusion criteria. The relationship between independent and dependent variable, and the test to differentiate each variable in both centralization and decentralization approach were tested using chi-square analysis. The multivariate analysis using logistic regression prediction test showed that there was a significant relationship between organizational process and the effectiveness of the organization, both in centralization and decentralization approach (p< 0,05; α= 0,05). Moreover this study also showed that the effectiveness in centralization approach was 31.7%, whilst in the decentralization approach was 42.3%. It is recommended that the hospital's management should apply several strategies of management in nursing in order to increase the effectiveness and the quality of nursing services in hospital.

In Malaysia, the goods and services tax (GST) was implemented in 2015 as part of a tax reform program to generate a stable source of revenue. This study explores human behaviour towards GST, a week post-implementation. The partial least square (PLS) modelling was used to establish the relationship between acceptance, knowledge and feelings towards GST as well as the quality of life. There is a positive relationship between the antecedents and the quality of life. Acceptance of GST exerts a significant relationship towards feelings and quality of life in the future. Keywords: GST, acceptance, knowledge, quality of lifeeISSN 2398-4279 © 2018. The Authors. The purpose of the study is to examine the relationship between CO2 on quality of life and on economic growth in ASEAN 8. Pollution may directly decrease output and quality of life by decreasing productivity of man-made capital and labor. The income levels per capita gross domestic product per capita were measured from the year 1965 to 2010. This study formulates a three equation simultaneous model for empirical research. For panel data, the Hausman specification test is the classical test of whether the fixed or random effects model should be used. In the pollution indicator emissions CO2 in ASEAN 8, the Environmental Kuznets Curve relationship is found.   Keywords: Economic Growth; Environmental Kuznets Curve; Hausman Test; Simultaneity, Endogeneity eISSN 2514-7528 © 2018. Pretend play emerged at the age of 18 months in children. The imagination of children creates new play ideas it has incorporated into their play. But Autism children find difficulty in play. Hence, this study aimed to find the different types of pretend and preference play among autistic and typical children. The total sample of 40 is divided into 20 each group respectively. Data analyzed by using Chi-Square result in the significant difference between the pretend play and play preference X² = 42.81 (p=0.05 and p=0.01). Future study needs to examine with larger samples.© 2016. The Authors. Published for AMER ABRA by e-International Publishing House, Ltd., UK. The belief that the environment shapes human emotions followed by behaviour is not new, as acknowledged by many researchers. Recent studies show that the most significant illness by 2030 is depression, as most of our time spent inside the buildings. Hence, the importance of "re-connecting architecture with emotions" is an essential solution to improve the quality of life. A single-case experimental design (SCED) aimed to investigate the relationship between neural underpinnings of the brain, for a single participant and various environments. Data collected was based on the Electroencephalography tests. Findings showed a significant contrast between different water elements and environmental settings, each with its unique effect on participant emotions as well as the electrical activity of the brain. Keywords: Depression; Neural underpinnings; Water-bodies environment; Quality of Life.eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020.
