Simulation is widely used in Medical Education as a teaching and learning method. The purpose of this paper is to discover the implication of the simulator into clinical trainee behaviour, medical education, and patient safety. At the other hand, a methodology of quantitative research design towards implementing Upper Limb Spasticity Simulator (ULSS) named BITA1.0 is discussed. The Descriptive Quantitative Research design is focused on formative clinical assessment with students of Master in Rehabilitation, Universiti Teknologi MARA as subjects with pre and post-response test. With the intention of implementing BITA1.0 into medical education, the result from The Descriptive Quantitative Research is essential. This research applied a mixed-methods analysis of the recreation space for youth in Malaysian urban and rural areas applying both the qualitative and quantitative approach. For qualitative research, four (4) focus group discussions (FGD) with 24 youth and 22 stakeholders have conducted while for quantitative research, a total of 800 youth selected as respondents. The quantitative research questionnaire based on the outcome of the FGD. The results found that the provision of recreational space in urban and rural areas including location, adequacy ratio, current condition, proximity, accessibility and level of maintenance required to reviewed for improvement. For quite some time, architects have been struggling to benefit from the vast body of environment-behaviour research to produce meaningful architecture. Written examples of such efforts are few and far between. In this context, this paper presents an attempt by a student of architecture to employ environment-behaviour research in the design of an elder’s home and discusses the potentials and problems of the approach. It shows that if theory of architecture, design practices and environment-behaviour research could be re-orientate towards and employ the idea of place as a bridging concept,it will facilitate such a link between the environment-behaviour research and design.2398-4295 © 2016. The changes in motivation cause an impact on students’ behavior related to academic success. The online survey found that a significant variation of academic motivation occurred in four different phases of Optometry studies. The 3rd year preclinical students displayed a lack of motivation compared to other student groups. This indicated changes in learning adaptation for different syllabus and approaches in educational stages. The academic performance correspondent with the students’ motivation as higher motivation gave better academic performance. Thus, understanding students' academic motivation permits educators to improve the educational approaches in teaching and learning to enhance student performance. This study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of TBL teaching and learning Medical and Health Terminology subject. The TBL session has been undertaken in two phases, commencing with the Individual Readiness Test (IRT), and followed the Group Readiness Test (GRT). The outcomes indicated the significance of scoring between the two phases for both components, which are suggestive of TBL implementation, showing a positive response from students. The statistical analysis has also revealed score differences between the Medical and Health Terminology subjects, according to student background. Today, poor performance in old residential contexts in terms of memorable visual elements reduce the residents’ sense of belonging. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods. To meet the needs of residents, a questionnaire was distributed among twenty-five experts. Data analysis was performed using fuzzy logic to calculate the weight of each criterion of hierarchical fuzzy (FAHP). According to the findings, the largest weight belonged to social interaction (0.288), physical (0.205) and dependence (0.179). The results showed that social interaction is imperative in increasing the residents’ sense of belonging.2398-4295 © 2017 The Authors. With global warming and climate change, the demands for food and water have challenged governments and civil societies. In environmental democracy, governments’ transparent processes will see positive citizen-centric developments. Through quantitative research design 384 questionnaires were administered to residents in Johor Bharu, Johor, Malaysia. The findings revealed significant, positive attitude towards environmental democracy. From the three variables, community knowledge is rated the most influential predictor towards environmental democracy. The implication from this study showed that the communities are concerned with environmental issues in the district as participation and volunteerism will ensure the wellbeing of their flora and fauna.© 2016. This paper discusses an action research on the use of social media in millennials’ teaching and learning activities in a design-related course. The objective is to investigate students’ feedback on their experience of utilizing social media as a platform to submit and present an assignment. The method employed is a questionnaire survey on students’ experience of utilizing such method in their study. Many respondents also provided additional comments regarding this unconventional approach. This paper presents a study of students’ awareness, experiences and perceptions on teaching-research nexus in three universities in Malaysia, namely UiTM, UIA and UKM. The findings are based on the results of the questionnaires of 480 students. In line with the previous research, the results indicate that students are moderately aware of the research activities of their lecturers. Nevertheless, many of the students participating in this research perceive clear benefits to teaching and learning from the research activities undertaken at their university, their experiences on research aspects, and the academicians’ involvement in research. The results of the study could be applied to the discussion of particular strategies that may be used to strengthen the nexus between teaching and research to benefit the undergraduates’ learning experience in these institutions. This paper focuses on the Ecovillages operation, environment, and sustainable practices implemented among the current operating Ecovillages worldwide. The main objective is to examine the critical factors affecting the sustainability of Ecovillages and their practice in managing their surroundings and environment. This study proceeds with a quantitative research method to further investigate the sustainability practice issues among the existing Ecovillages in the world. The data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire using an online platform. This study test four independent variables, namely energy efficiency, organic food, telework, and social media, towards the sustainability practice of the Ecovillages operation worldwide. Waqf is an Islamic charity institution which should be able to act as the catalyst for sustainable development, if the institution is systematically and optimally implemented. However, a substantial proportion of total waqf is still lying dormant across the world. The aim of the study is to obtain a better understanding in waqf governance issues. An exploratory research design is carried out on the authority which is responsible for the implementation of waqf governance in Kelantan, a state in Malaysia. The findings showed that legislation and inefficient management are among the possible impeding factors for good governance of waqf.
